I think the fact that they leaked the indictment ahead of grand jury ruling AND also leaked all the grand juror names is because they're working to get the case thrown out and then claim "trump was guilty, we totally had him, but he got off on a technicality". They don't want to give him a platform in court.... especially a court that televises it.

Desantis has done fantastic work for florida and was a pain in their side, whether you like it or not he is hands down the best governor and practically the only one that went against their COVID plans. Even Abbott was pretty awful and was just repeating anything that Desantis did first.
As for all this anti-desantis stuff, I think its trump giving into the media's attacks and constant inuendo that desantis will run. They're pitting trump against desantis so that we stop focusing on the tons and tons of RINOs that are literally destroying the party. And while I love Trump and will vote for him, a weakness of his is that he can be narcissistic so when it comes to something like him vs Desantis he goes all in.
We've had like five different times now where the media has announced "Desantis is about to announce" to riel up the trump base and get us infighting. Look at this week.
Now if Desantis actually announces he's running today (and im not oblivious to there being a chance of it happening), then we can discuss. But until he actually announces its propaganda noise. And if he doesn't announce take note.

Of note, everyone fired is granted backpay and their jobs back. The people who broke the law in instituting this are now open to personal lawsuits and class actions.
