I think they would this time. Last time, you had very few Republicans genuinely on our side, and most of the ones who were pussed out after J6.
If it happens for a second time in a row, considering my prior points in my last comment, I don't think the republican congress could ignore it. And by extension, neither could SCOTUS.
Either way, the Supreme Court will make the final decision, you can pretty much guarantee that. Neither side is going to accept the result, be it fraud or a Trump landslide.
The only way they let Trump step back into the White House is if they have control over the narrative. And that narrative will be "SCOTUS made Trump president, not the people," ala George W.
I believe Republican Congress members will actually stand up to the fraud this time. It sort of came out of nowhere in 2020 - everyone thought Trump was easily going to win. This time there will be eyes and ears everywhere.
Let us not forget that MAGA has taken over the Republican party. The republican congress can no longer ignore us because we have become the mainstream within the party.
I don't feel like digging up sources, but actually a decent amount of progress has been made. From memory- images of mail-in ballots available to the public, purging voter rolls of fakes and frauds, new rules on mail-in ballots, ditching machines. None of these are nationwide, but some of them are from important states.
They didn't think Trump was actually that popular, and they also didn't realize how universally loathed they themselves are. They understand both now, and they act accordingly.
They literally have to cheat even in a losing effort. If the real vote count were to come out, it would blow people's minds. It would be so skewed from what they're used to seeing that normies would probably assume it was Trump who cheated.
I see this every day at my work as well. Don't wanna dox myself, but I have to verify people's IDs and whatnot at my job. They speak zero English, IDs are less than a year old, they have a SSN.
Don't let Dems and MSM gaslight you with the whole "non-citizens can't get these." They can and they are. The only question that remains is how
I have a co-worker, an older woman, who's deadset on me coming to see her church (LDS). I'm currently looking for a church so I'm intrigued.
Why do you disagree with the comment above? What has been your experience?
Pre-existing rules don't matter. If needed, they'll do a media campaign to pressure and bully GOP legislatures to bend the rules on deadlines. If the legislature won't, they'll sue and win in their state Supreme courts.
Nothing will happen here if the threats have already been publicly acknowledged.
