I still believe whoever that woman is she knew something. No way a person going through a WTF was that moment would immediately get their phone out like that unless they had an idea of what to expect. Not sure about the shoe deal. I know our uniforms, during the gulf war, prevented some kind of scanning. We were also told not to shine our shoes and to rough them up so they prevented the scanning. Perhaps this helps?
