I knew today would be so distracting, I called out sick. No chance I would get any work done today.

I work for a constitutional law firm that frequently appeals cases to SCOTUS. Cases that are scheduled to be conferenced are a dime a dozen and it's not unusual for a case to be conferenced multiple times before it's either granted or denied cert.

It's also very rare to have a case that is granted cert and will be heard by SCOTUS, so please keep that in mind.

Finally, these conferences are behind closed doors, there is no way to view them. Orders from said conferences are released on the following Monday.

Let's say that these cases move forward and after hearing both sides, SCOTUS rules in favor of Trump. What is the remedy? Biden removal? Another election? (Using current rigged electronic systems?)

Is this where the various teams will present real-time evidence of fraud?

I'm guessing that SCOTUS has to fail us yet again for the military to step in and take action.

I have a feeling. Today is going to be good.

Many are watching and waiting on the U.S. Supreme today. In its conference, the Court will decide whether the cases from GA, Michigan, and Pennsylvania will proceed.

If the Court says NO, we will know the majority of the Court is corrupt. The cases are based on established, black letter law. The elections in those states were illegal and unconstitutional. They changed the election rules without approval of the state legislatures.

If the Court decides the cases will proceed, we will not know for sure if a majority of the Court is corrupt until final decisions are issued which could take months. Remember the decision in Obamacare?

Maybe the Court will allow the cases to proceed and buy time before the corrupt justices are exposed.

If the majority in the Court is not corrupt, a ruling should be issued today in Pennsylvania case. GA and Michigan should have cert granted with a reversal and remand to follow law in Pennsylvania case.

We are going to learn a great deal about the majority of our Supreme Court justices today whatever the rulings may be.

Keep praying that justice is done today.

Lin Wood update on SCOTUS:

No word from SCOTUS yet on whether they will allow the election cases to proceed. The cases were set for conference today and while I claim no firsthand knowledge of how the Court operates, I assume the Justices confer together in private. Perhaps we will learn the decisions on Monday on whether the writs of certiorari will be granted. If so, the cases can proceed. A grant of certiorari requires that a minimum of 4 Justices vote in favor of granting the review. Hope that helps.

The fact that the Democrats and their media minions, including social network lackies, are so eager to dismiss, and censor, the idea of voting fraud, is more than enough evidence that it is obviously real, and you would have to be a moron to think otherwise.

Here's what I don't understand Why can't the Supreme Court make a ruling telling every one of these states based on federal law to turn in all of their voting tabulation machines, voter books, ballets, envelopes. All stuff that is supposed to be kept by every state for 22 months after a federal election.

Once that's done hire a bipartisan group to analyze every aspect of every state involved and get to the bottom of this then they don't have to make a ruling they know there was cheating in this election, to turn a blind eye to it is being involved in the cover up.

Anything short of that There's no way they can make a decision because no matter what they do they're going to alienate 50% of the country and to leave Joe Biden in office is setting a very bad example.

Conference

When oral arguments are concluded, the Justices have to decide the case. They do so at what is known as the Justices' Conference. When Court is in session, there are two conferences scheduled per week – one on Wednesday afternoon and one on Friday afternoon. At their Wednesday conference, the Justices talk about the cases heard on Monday. At their Friday conference, they discuss cases heard on Tuesday and Wednesday. When Court is not in session, no Wednesday conference is held.

Before going into the Conference, the Justices frequently discuss the relevant cases with their law clerks, seeking to get different perspectives on the case. At the end of these sessions, sometimes the Justices have a fairly good idea of how they will vote in the case; other times, they are still uncommitted.

According to Supreme Court protocol, only the Justices are allowed in the Conference room at this time—no police, law clerks, secretaries, etc. The Chief Justice calls the session to order and, as a sign of the collegial nature of the institution, all the Justices shake hands. The first order of business, typically, is to discuss the week's petitions for certiorari, i.e., deciding which cases to accept or reject.

After the petitions for certiorari are dealt with, the Justices begin to discuss the cases that were heard since their last Conference. According to Supreme Court protocol, all Justices have an opportunity to state their views on the case and raise any questions or concerns they may have. Each Justice speaks without interruptions from the others. The Chief Justice makes the first statement, then each Justice speaks in descending order of seniority, ending with the most junior justice—the one who has served on the court for the fewest years.

When each Justice is finished speaking, the Chief Justice casts the first vote, and then each Justice in descending order of seniority does likewise until the most junior justice casts the last vote. After the votes have been tallied, the Chief Justice, or the most senior Justice in the majority if the Chief Justice is in the dissent, assigns a Justice in the majority to write the opinion of the Court. The most senior justice in the dissent can assign a dissenting Justice to write the dissenting opinion.

If a Justice agrees with the outcome of the case, but not the majority's rationale for it, that Justice may write a concurring opinion. Any Justice may write a separate dissenting opinion. When there is a tie vote, the decision of the lower Court stands. This can happen if, for some reason, any of the nine Justices is not participating in a case (e.g., a seat is vacant or a Justice has had to recuse).

Praying that JUSTICE and JUDGEMENTS be done

There’s a fair amount of misunderstanding of how the courts work in this thread. Several things to know here:

1. SCOTUS is an appellate court. That means no new evidence will be presented, they’re just considering whether the lower court applied to the law correctly to the arguments made there.
2. The constitutional issues in all of these cases is basically the federal government’s power to overrule state courts in the issues involving presidential electors. Whatever SCOTUS rules in these cases won’t affect the 2020 election, it will just set the ground rules for 2024 and subsequent elections.
3. Because of #2, these aren’t high urgency cases. If the court grants cert they’ll hear oral arguments at their next session sometime this fall and rulings won’t be settled until late 2021 or even 2022.

Kinda surprised we haven’t heard anything yet.

Not really sure what to hope for out of these cases.... On one hand, it feels like a win. But they won't be actually heard for 8 months..... not only is that a long time, but if they are corrupted, they could just rule in favor of Biden in ALL of them.... that would be the worst case of all. Not to mention, I don't think any of these cases has anything to do with the biggest election fraud issue: Italygate. (If true). So hopefully there is still standing for the military to take unilateral action at any time based on election interference. So I guess I hope that SCOTUS does decide to hear the cases. That would be a win for us today, and surely it would send even more panic waves through the DS.

I seriously can't see how they would ignore these cases this time, but then the Texas case shocked me pretty well. I understand this is just deciding if they will hear the case? When do we hear confirmation? Also can they expedite this in any way, or three years from now are we going to find out the 2020 election was fraudulent?
