So, I went to The Home Depot yesterday.....
posted 5 years ago by Txn4evr 5 years ago by Txn4evr +377 / -0

There was no sign requesting or requiring a mask and being Sunday the store was packed but yet I was the only person in the store without a mask!

Before the rona, I used to think that most people are generally intelligent and posses a certain amount of common sense. Not any more!!!

Same here. This has caused me to really withdraw from society. I feel as though I'm walking amongst the dead. Not sure if you ever watched the Walking Dead. But I fell like the parts where they put zombie guts on themselves and walked w/ the dead. I'm worried they are going to be triggered by the maskless face, smell common sense and attack. I've concealed for years, now I carry an extra mag. Seriously, these people are scary brainwashed. It's disturbing.

The sheer cognitive dissonance. I work in South Korea. Past two days the air has been very dirty with dust from china/korean factories.

I'm prohibited from opening the windows now, because the dust will damage the kids' lungs. Bear in mind everyone HAS to wear a mask. What is the size of a dust particle vs a bacteria?

Apparently the masks stop working with dust. I'm going crazy! Other teachers didn't even notice.

We've all suspected for many years and the level of sheer stupidity in our culture is near bottomless. Now, we can confirm our suspicions. It's worse than I thought.

Bottom line is the people who watch MSM have been scared to death. Most of the older people I know are that way. Sad but when you listen to that crap every day for a year you start believing it.

I was wrong.

We are all the same. All around the world. We are all equally susceptible to manipulation. People are controlled by emotion, and we all have emotion.

We are not special, we were only born into a special country. We must preserve it or this nightmare will deepen and spread.

Being American was just a stroke of luck, not representative of anything. We need our country back! Because we were born into this world.

Freedom is our birthright! We are all the same in the beginning, but then so many give their freedom away. Maybe just being born is special. But so many forfeit their birthright. The truly special ones are those who fight to preserve their birthright of freedom. As we are born, so too shall we die!

Free.

There are so many sheep out there. Everywhere I go people are wearing face diapers. They have them on in their cars, walking down the sidewalk, riding their bikes and shopping in stores. It's up to us sane and intelligent patriots to walk around proudly to demonstrate that we will not fall over dead without one. I have been doing it for the past year and am still here, alive and well.

I mean it’s Home Depot. Not exactly a liberal hangout spot considering how liberals are more likely to live in apartments or hire contractors to do home repairs (and also let’s be honest they’re kind of lazy to say the least). I think a lot of the mask wearers had to be Trump voters or at least conservative, which makes sense given both Home Depot’s clientele and what we know about the true outcome of the election.

I went to Home Depot on Saturday in Texas. There was a sign at the door requesting masks. I ignored it. 70% inside were mask-less. 100% of HD employees were masked. Nobody said anything about it.

I had to go to the head while I was there, where I think I caught COVID. Felt awful yesterday with a cough but feel fine today. Zinc + Zinc Ionophore +C +D3 = Inhibits viral replication.

Haha, I will say Home Depot is one of the few places I have worn a mask, but I've done that for years and not because of a virus. The amount of sawdust and concrete in the air in that place is not great for the lungs and I spend a lot of time in the lumber department.

Home Depot is cool, even when they had signs up about masks being required, I walked in without it and never once got bothered, even had employees offering help as usual. This is in ATX which has a pretty high proportion of mask nazis and most stores will kick you out so it was a nice surprise.

Gotta hit these Maskists (mask fascists) in the pocketbook... unfortunately even in my lil part of Texas feels like we havent hit critical mass yet...

A year into this madness and ive only been asked to leave a store a handful of times...

We had a family outing at an outdoor mall yesterday. Surprisingly most people were even wearing masks in between stores unlike the last time when went in the fall where about half the people didn't have masks on outdoors. I was literally the only person who wasn't wearing a mask. My husband hates confrontation and inspite of me explaining over and over how masks don't do anything, he still wears one because everyone else does. He finally noticed at the end of the day that I wasn't wearing one, "have you not worn one this whole time?" Me:"yup, sure haven't. And guess what? Absolutely no one said anything." I smiled to people walking around in hope that it clicks how much we need to see other people's faces for our own sanity.

I work out in the parking lot, so I don't have to wear a mask all day like the inside people do. But when I'm bringing in a row of 8 carts on the tether, I'm supposed to put my mask on. It takes me 23 seconds to take off one glove so that I can feel the mask and then put the one glove back on. That 23 seconds for each row of carts that I bring in adds up at the end of the day. Sometimes I will skip the mask in order to save time, but I always feel guilty for doing so because I know it's not fair to the customers who have to wear theirs. The cart room is only about 5 ft. into the store and I'm usually by myself while I'm in there. Exposure to customers is minimal. Being a Lot Associate at THD is hard work and requires a lot of air to breath. I especially need the air when I'm lifting 94 lb. bags of concrete or pushing 4 lumber carts at the same time up a slight grade towards the store.

Noticed the HD that I frequent has a sign "Please wear a mask" but nothing demanding compliance. All of the other stores in that area have signs demanding compliance to executive order(s) and have "security guards" at the entry. Including their competitor Lowes. Guess which parking lot had more vehicles.

The one way isles, entry and exit only doors, and capacity limits lasted about a month now they are no longer.

Great stuff

If all you guys are seeing majority freeface in a store, that is hopium on a stick!

I'm in W. Central Florida, and I'm always the only freeface in every store. Mathematically, if you were rounding to the nearest whole number percentage of masked persons, it is 100% compliance.

Not 99%.

Literally 100%.

Meaning I pass by hundreds of masked shoppers between sightings of a freeface.

I live my life like I did before COVID.

I walk into any & all stores / businesses / restaurants / grocery stores etc. just like I did before this scam-Demic; without a stupid mask.

Why?

I’ve had COVID twice. I’m not scared of getting it a third time.

Compared to other illnesses I’ve had - like the REAL flu, pneumonia, etc; this is mild & I’ll actually take COVID over even a regular cold.

Both times I had pretty mild symptoms, but ZERO sore throat, cough, etc. Worst was the general body aches, pretty bad lethargy for a few days, and that’s about it.

I’m not scared of a disease with a 99.9996% survival rate....
