It seems that HCQ is best for prevention and Ivermectin is best for treating an existing case, especially a severe case. But I didn't look at the medical literature for several months.
Ivermectin is extremely effective as a prophylactic - at least as effective as HCQ - and even more effective than HCQ as a post-infection treatment if not too late.
Even so, I'd be very happy if I could obtain either, here in Greece. (It's actually easier to obtain hasheesh!)

When a treatment already exists, an emergency use authorization can not occur which is how people are getting injected.
