Probably stays up late at night like I do reading GAW... he’s panicked we know, and if we know, then he won’t be able to walk down the street. He’ll be fortunate to get arrested before we have a chance to go 1776 on their asses.
I would imagine many of these creatures were operating under the assumption that they could execute their orders from their DS masters with unlimited impunity. After all, as far as they were aware, the DS had the media, Bad Tech, local, state and federal government and the judicial system all locked-up and under control. Now that their “footing” is gone and the ground beneath them is getting shakier by the day, they’re trying to determine if there’s enough of their safety net still strong enough to get them through this relatively unscathed. I don’t think some of them realize that this trap was set a very long time ago by brilliant white hats and they walked right into it like the cocky SOBs they are.
