You likely need to add a custom coin to your wallet using RVP's contract info. Your wallet probably has the funds, but because they are in an altcoin they need the custom identifier to be visible.

You can't purchase them easily like common coins like Bitcoin. You have to go through a transfer brokerage like https://app.uniswap.org/ and a wallet like Metamask, along with a common coin brokerage like Coinbase. Its a four step process.
Buy common crypto on Coinbase
Transfer common crypto to Metamask
Initiate uniswap for desired altcoin.
Confirm swap in Metamask.
Its quite convoluted, but once you have it set up it is fairly easy to do.
I bought them via uniswap using eth to purchase. DL metamask, send or buy some eth. Open the MM browser. Initiate swap eth to rvp. Sounds complicated but is pretty easy. Sure there are many tutorials around. Price has dropped back again today so the hopium did not happen on the 8th, but this still sounds a solid project for those interested in such things

The easiest way is to open an account on one of the exchanges. Coinbase.com is really user-friendly, Exchange.Gemini.com has a few more listed tokens, and Crypto.com runs through an app which is a little different.
In any case, it's like opening a brokerage account for stocks/options. You can attach a card/checking acct/paypal/etc. to buy tokens and deposit funds back if you punch out. We're also seeing more companies accepting crypto for payments directly. There's no min/max, although some have a weekly limit and Coinbase lets you specify a recurring buy if you want to dollar cost average over time.
All tokens represent a digital store of value with a supply that is mathematically limited and allow for the movement of funds with different levels of efficiency. Holding the tokens is similar to having stock in the system. Some offer interest/dividends as the network processes transactions.
All that said, #NotFinancialAdvice. Many of the smaller tokens ride a wave of good press as they are issued but then crash if their not built with a useful function in mind. It's extremely volatile but you're also not subject to the printing of a fiat currency.
Just tossed half a grand at RVP. Who knows what will come of it, but with the impending market implosion my money is probably far safer in crypto currencies, even those as seemingly obscure as this one.

Blockchain records are kept on computers around the world. Think of them as little notaries who verify and record the each chain transaction. Stored on multiple computers around the world. If one, ten or one hundred computers gets destroyed/hacked etc the Leger still exists on the remaining.

You likely need to add a custom coin to your wallet using RVP's contract info. Your wallet probably has the funds, but because they are in an altcoin they need the custom identifier to be visible.

You can divide cryptocurrencies into severa categories. With some of them you can replace SWIFT/banking system/, with some you can store large amount of files etc etc. RVP seems to solves the data privacy problem. It's completely different than Trumpcoin I think

You can't purchase them easily like common coins like Bitcoin. You have to go through a transfer brokerage like https://app.uniswap.org/ and a wallet like Metamask, along with a common coin brokerage like Coinbase. Its a four step process.
Buy common crypto on Coinbase
Transfer common crypto to Metamask
Initiate uniswap for desired altcoin.
Confirm swap in Metamask.
Its quite convoluted, but once you have it set up it is fairly easy to do.

I bought them via uniswap using eth to purchase. DL metamask, send or buy some eth. Open the MM browser. Initiate swap eth to rvp. Sounds complicated but is pretty easy. Sure there are many tutorials around. Price has dropped back again today so the hopium did not happen on the 8th, but this still sounds a solid project for those interested in such things

The easiest way is to open an account on one of the exchanges. Coinbase.com is really user-friendly, Exchange.Gemini.com has a few more listed tokens, and Crypto.com runs through an app which is a little different.
In any case, it's like opening a brokerage account for stocks/options. You can attach a card/checking acct/paypal/etc. to buy tokens and deposit funds back if you punch out. We're also seeing more companies accepting crypto for payments directly. There's no min/max, although some have a weekly limit and Coinbase lets you specify a recurring buy if you want to dollar cost average over time.
All tokens represent a digital store of value with a supply that is mathematically limited and allow for the movement of funds with different levels of efficiency. Holding the tokens is similar to having stock in the system. Some offer interest/dividends as the network processes transactions.
All that said, #NotFinancialAdvice. Many of the smaller tokens ride a wave of good press as they are issued but then crash if their not built with a useful function in mind. It's extremely volatile but you're also not subject to the printing of a fiat currency.

I don't know the first thing about crypto and I bought around $250 in RVP in about 20 mins. Downloaded and setup a coinbase account. Linked my PayPal to it. Bought $280 in ETH. Downloaded and setup a Metamask wallet. Transferred ETH from Coinbase to Metamask wallet. Swapped ETH for RVP.

Blockchain records are kept on computers around the world. Think of them as little notaries who verify and record the each chain transaction. Stored on multiple computers around the world. If one, ten or one hundred computers gets destroyed/hacked etc the Leger still exists on the remaining.
It's literally, and I hate overusing that term, the opposite. The entire purpose of blockchain technology is to bring transparency to finance. The system we have in place now with slush funds and money laundering is what's hard to track.
