My understanding is it's like a "blue flu." Cops aren't allowed to strike, but if push comes to shove, pissed off cops will call in sick to protest.
I suspect it's similar here, the pilots aren't supposed to strike, but the mandates have pushed a lot of them passed caring, so a lot of them are simply calling in sick.
My husband said he heard one newshead saying that it was just the pilots taking their vacation days before the mandate goes live. Mmmkay
I guess it could be a combo, I'd take my vacay days AND refuse the vax.
Folks, I'm sure I'm speaking mostly to the choir here, but for any of you who are still thinking about flying for vacations, I urge you to rediscover the great American road trip.
Back in March the wife and I decided we weren't going to comply with the airline's bullshit and we packed our dogs and our son into the SUV and took a wonderful road trip to our vacation destination. 2 and a half days of driving forces your family to talk and have good conversations and you actually get to see this great big country of ours.
We did the same thing again in June and we might try to squeeze another one in before the end of the year.
I'll be happy if I never give the airlines a penny of my money again for the rest of my life. I may have to travel for work, but for leisure I'm always going for the road trip from now on.
^^^^^ THIS x 1000. Great advice. My wife and I considered flying from the Peoples Republic of Northern Virginia to Nashville for our nation's birthday this year, but on a whim said "screw the airlines and their face diaper mandates" and decided instead to drive to Tennessee. Such a beautiful drive through the Shenandoah Valley down into TN, and we even added stops at Natural Bridge, VA and Gatlinburg, TN on our way the destination of Nashville...sure, it took longer but we got to see so much and had a blast in the process!
Too much beautiful country not to see it. We drove from Minneapolis down to southern Texas (not the most scenic trip, I know) and we were a bit worried at the length of the drive, but it was great. We didn't rush, took breaks every 4 hours for the dogs to stretch their legs and do their business, ate lots of bad food and in general had a great time on both ways.
The only downside is one you pointed out and that's the time factor. I take very little vacation and just decided the hell with work, they can live without me for an extra week. So what normally would have been a one week vacation became a two week vacation. And I know that not everybody can do this. But I'm also willing to bet that the vast majority of the people on TGA are hard workers that usually don't use all their PTO by the end of the year and I'd suggest to all of those people: You deserve to take the time off that you earned.
I keep hearing that. Travelling for fun isn't the reason many unvaxxed like me are really worried. It's to see family and loved ones who live far away, in other countries. Basically it's get jabbed or never see your loved ones again.
If you’re wearing a mask, stop now. I don’t care if you’re the only one in the store without one. You may be surprised how many people will follow when they see they aren’t alone. I have personally been kicked out of a store for not wearing one and I can tell you that the only thing I felt afterwards was relief of no longer being in that dump or spending my hard earned money in a place like that. I don’t care if people stare, I don’t care if I’m alone, I don’t care if an employee on a power trip has something to say. Mass noncompliance starts with one person.
In Washington and I'm usually the only one without one on, though I'm slowly starting to see other people take it off finally. What I have noticed though is that nobody says a thing! I think mask wearers are honestly probably becoming embarrassed as they start to see more people happily walking around without them on.
Yeah very nice lady that I know told me it was policy to have one today in her small business, but I couldn't listen to her even to be nice. I cannot participate in a lie anymore. The mask lie is perpetuating the other lies because it is a visible reminder that we are supposed to be scared into compliance with whatever the hell they want to do.
This is a major issue and people need to stand up more for sure. Unfortunately for me it's still a big issue on public transport and I don't know how to go about it. Without going into too much detail, suffice it to say that I’m legitimately permanently disabled and I can’t walk long distances. The public transport system in my (red) area still makes you wear masks and I’m afraid if I don’t the driver will fucking leave me stranded and there will nothing I can do. No one to pick me up and I’ll be fucked. Everyone fucking wears the diapers on PT, probably for the same reasons, and it pisses me off.
The places I can get to without public transport I have not worn one and no one has said a thing to me. At least I have that.
These airlines need to fail! Let them all go out of business and then let entrepreneurs come in a buy up the assets and start new airlines. Instead of having 3 big airlines we need 12 smaller ones that will beholden to customers if they want to stay in business. The current airlines are so mammoth they don't give a shit about passengers and employee's which is obvious from the service they provide and the complete lack or respect for customers.
It's way too early to take the foot off the accelerator to claim non-compliance is working. What has SW Airlines done to reverse its policy? The CEO, who has been flying Afghan 'refugees' all over the country and hasn't resigned. I haven't seen any reverse in SW Airlines policies..... It's way too early to claim victory here. We need more, much more to win. They can't even tell us the truth about the many adverse reactions their employees are experiencing. This is WWIII
This is from Tom Woods account, quoting a pilot: "This pilot believes that the fact that the airlines received $25 billion in no-strings-attached cash for “payroll support” last year (as well another $25 billion in loans) has made them particularly reluctant to stand up to the Biden administration. Southwest’s CEO, Gary Kelly, may be in an especially tough spot since he is the head of the airline lobbying group."
And the biggest slap in the face to these companies is they have to pay these people because they have sick days and vacation time, While they're losing millions of dollars A-day.
First rule of the awakening should be NO GOO GOO!!!
Oh and as an aside, if you GOO GOO this site is has a warning that it has been flagged for hackin'. I have the screenshot. So be careful round these parts. KEK
I think people were more pissed about this lie because it was so obvious and easy to check.
Good.
[they] have been rubbing our faces in it for so long; it's about time people wake THE FUCK UP and smell the bullshit!!!!
Oh they are going further than that. They got the pilots union saying now that "there was no walkout to protest the vaccine."
https://www.swapa.org/news/2021/press-release/
Right. Keep telling us that. They lost the narrative and people are now rising up.
My understanding is it's like a "blue flu." Cops aren't allowed to strike, but if push comes to shove, pissed off cops will call in sick to protest.

Hey, I'm no expert, you're as liable to be right as I am. =)
Odds are that we both are. I'm just really glad I have no flights booked in the immediate future.
Yeah... I'm glad I haven't flown since they instituted the body scanners...
Damn climate change! 😝
Yep, getting a little HOT over at Southwest Airlines.🌡😁
We need Climate Justice
The Southwest CEO is turning into Bagdad Bob.
Our local station is still trying! They think we are stupid. Turn off the news.

Love to hear this, Drakus.

Yes!!!
Road trips are WAY more fun than flying, esp. with the bullshit TSA.
I keep hearing that. Travelling for fun isn't the reason many unvaxxed like me are really worried. It's to see family and loved ones who live far away, in other countries. Basically it's get jabbed or never see your loved ones again.
Companies aren’t complying with a vaccine mandate. They are complying with a vaccine press conference.
Sort of like the election results …
But Faux called it!!!1!
Honestly we’re still playing along too much. It’s time to lose the masks. We look like retards and they’re pointless.
100%

My name for a mask is SNOT RAG. They are also good for a soft butt wipe!

^^^ This. It is the symbol to remind people to be afraid.

I'm hoping that this gains traction with others in the industry and becomes the catalyst for making these stupid, unconstitutional mandates go away.
there is NO vaccine mandate. Biden never went through with it, he only gave the impression he did so he could not be blamed or sued.
Well, i can tell you true: i have been working as a DoD military contractor since 2012, shortly after my 24 yrs active duty.
There is no requirement and our unit resides on a military base.

... I wish... they will probably make us bail them out... again...
Banks need bailing out too
And vaccine injuries need paid all by tax payers imagine that...

The globalist CEO must step down!

FAFO!
FAFO?
Fuck around and find out
Thanks
Keep it up bring the company down.

Sauce?
Dude... just Google Southwest Airlines....
I did. Even went to Fox News webpage and can’t find the article. I wanted to read THIS article, not the hundreds of others that are out there
https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/southwest-cancels-more-than-1000-flights-cruz-says-its-bidens-illegal-vaccine-mandate-at-work
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-10-09/southwest-air-pilots-seek-to-block-covid-vaccination-mandate
These two articles should suffice...
I think because you'll find that this is a Fox TV story. (as indicated by the little box in the corner saying watch tv).
Thanks purkiss.. you made me giggle!
Blessings fren
Lol ..Some people just want to be spoonfed...
Amen my fren....Amen 🤣

Mix in whiskey with the honey and they’ll always come back for more.
