4chan is not so much a website but an idea. Even if 4chan were to disappear it would pop up elsewhere under a different name, or using one of the many dark web backups or mirrors. 4chan is the ultimate anarchic, truly human, website. No censorship, no internal politics, just a bunch of nobodies complaining to other nobodies about lots of somebodies that they all agree are bad.

No this concept is more about self discipline and honor of character.
The knights were powerful. This code was about not using that power wrongly—raping or pillaging.

But it’s not being “nice”.
To have true virtue is much harder.
Nice is people pleasing.
Kindness is about respect and valuing others and it comes from dignifying yourself.
Discipline has meaning because it’s the powerful that control and restrain themselves. If you are weak then you don’t even have a choice not to fight. But having the choice to defeat someone to slay them and deciding mercy or peace—that’s true strength and discipline.
