This is serious. This is an extremely wealthy and powerful man. There is far more than meets the eye occurring here. If this is true, this means people are being arrested against the will of the DS, and it’s happening alongside the trial. This is only tangentially associated with the maxwell trial, in as far as his name was dropped. But if he was arrested, that means he was under investigation, probably sealed indictment.

IDK the case number given in the article is a civil case number, not criminal.
I dug in deep, i've seen no charges.
My understanding was it was in civil court, then November 2020 it was removed to federal court and they added co-plaintiffs. Now the case is underway.
Not exactly, the accuser refused to identify themselves so the trial was just put on hold until the accuser decided to reveal their identity or not. That was back in May of this year. The case will probably not move forward or matter because the person accusing Spacey has remained anonymous and the lawyers don't even know their identity. Also, the statute of limitations is expiring in January, so it will be moot at that point.
Thank you. This clears things up a bit. Interesting that they were back in the courtroom so close to the end of the statute of limitations. Maybe said accuser will come back if they can remain anonymous similar to what’s going on in the Maxwell trial.
The difference is that the judge and defense know the anonymous people in the Maxwell trial, they are just keeping their names out of public light.
