Something was different today. They were reporting on mandates being lifted by provinces, what's going on with protests, and the vote on the Emergency Measures Act. I can't exactly pinpoint it specifically with cold, hard evidence, but it's extremely noticeable about the overall TONE. I heard it in the voices of the on-air hosts and reporters as well as the controlled "experts" being interviewed: the sound of people who know they are facing imminent defeat. The word DOOMING came to mind. This is the first time I've heard such tone in such a pervasive extent.
This tells me that they truly believed their own propaganda, but more importantly, it told me that We the People are prevailing ...
And they can barely hide it anymore!

I told some Leftists that mandates and restrictions are being lifted all over the world. Do you know what their reaction was? Misery. They didn't greet the restrictions being removed as good, but as awful. It was as if they wanted the Covid restrictions to last forever. They hate hearing mask mandates, quarantine times and PCR tests are being lifted. I see nothing but doom on their side now. The more things go back to normal they more they doom.
Things will never go back to what they were. That world they had before their pandemic is gone. This new world will be without them in power and they know it.
It’s because they want to be right. They cannot and will not accept defeat. They’d rather be miserable.

A few years back I spoke publically about aircraft. Not long prior to that I posed questions to a feminist at her speaking event and man did I piss them off. I just asked questions. No intent. Wanted to know what she meant and she acted like my questions alone were offensive.

I've met a couple Leftists who grew up under communism in Europe. They loved it. Why? Because every decision was made for them and there was no choice in anything. The government told them "This is who you are, this is what you will do and this is how you will live." They said life was so easy under communism. They found capitalism stressful because they had to make all sorts of decisions and they were always scared of making the wrong one.
It was eye opening to hear people look at communism as great because it took away their freedoms and essentially made them children.

I hope your observation is right. Down here in the lower 48 States it seems the propaganda machine is still running with oiled precision, at least among people who still subscribe to the nonsense. My home state has banned mask and vaxx mandates, but of course I still see them around.
And among some local groups, they never will relinquish their fear mentality because it brings meaning to their otherwise empty little lives. Example: my wife is a talented singer and has done community theater for longer than I have known her. Her theater group is planning a Summer show and she still can't get an answer from them whether she can rehearse and perform with them.... she's unvaxx'ed and will refuse to be vaxx'ed. This apparently doesn't sit well with the terrified "heroes" of the left. Unfortuately I have noted the same thing about my long term friends - we always questioned "the man" and knew the government only cared about getting their hands on our money and made laws to "control" us, not protect us but covid fear destroyed their discernment and common sense. I've lost a lot of respect for him. Because he always acted like he was a classical liberal who was counter culture. Covid hits and he is a huge govt sycophant and ruled by fear. These last 2 years have been a huge litmus test to see what people are made of. I have become 100x more libertarian and distrusting of institutions, and am actively seeking autonomy whenever I can.
And I have a lot of friends who used to be strong, conservative Christians and wise people of faith who have succumbed to fear and groupthink, too. It is sad.

My local school had a Daddy Daughter Dance. I didn't see any masks. Hundreds of people having a great time. One week later, no kids are showing up with COVID at school. I say this because just not having to wear a mask is still not freedom. Go back to normal. Completely normal.
Similar issues where I live in the states. There aren't any government mandates locally but a majority of the population are brainwashed, narcissistic, plugged in, and "hero/victim" leftoid cultists. I feel completely alone here and even a few coworkers that claim to be "conservatives" won't challenge the non-sense mask wearing. They even defend it when I bring it up. I'm not sure the sheep are going to let go of this. It's too convenient of an excuse for them to continue to do nothing with their lives and hold no responsibility for their actions. To this day I still see at least 10-20 ALONE, in their cars, wearing a mask (or 2). I just can't believe they still do that!

What you are seeing is a coordinated effort to re-position themselves to the conservative "sway" slowly so the democratic party can (or will try) to highjack the right public position (them lying) in prep for the midterm elections. They do this every election. Don't buy-in to this as a genuine shift of tone based on real turn-arounds. It is tactical and complete propoganda to change attitudes. Just watch. Next step out of this playbook will be them claiming success for everything we have accomplished.

If you listen to them a lot to know their general tone, then pay attention to your instincts about undertone. Because you are probably correct. General undertones over society are what tells me thr Plan is progressing. Since they have apparently convinced themselves that they cannot simply end the mandates, there's no way for Trudeau to win this. The only question is how messy will his loss be? Will he go down in the PR storm and revolution that would result from a Tiannemen Square type crackdown with resulting death and destruction, or will he resign peacefully?

We all have different innate talents. And one of those talents can be discernment. People with discernment can generally tell, for example, when someone is lying to them. We might not know the truth ourselves, but we know a lie when we hear it.
I also get this feeling from watching the legacy media in Canada. I don't know what exactly, but something has happened. And I don't know why, exactly, but it causes me to feel hope.

Bear in mind that these media talking heads are like actors reading a script. They have their special "voices" for good news and bad news as defined by their masters writing the script. This was never more evident than during this pandemic. I knew it was crumbling when the tone changed. However, sometimes they get a jolt and real feelings creep in, as when Trump was elected in 2016. Which do you feel it was?
I believe it was subconscious. It was subtle. These types aren't capable of such subtlety, and even if they were, the intended audience would not be picking up on it, at least not consciously.

Idk. I think a lot of them have been entrapped by their greed and things they’ve done to get where they are. I think many of them know it’s wrong, but they are no longer able to extract themselves. They’ve sold their souls and, like Pharaoh, have no other choice but to see it through to their demise, always hoping to make it past one more hurdle and, when they do, using it to hurt more people. Their hearts are hardened because of their choices, and there’s no escape. Call it Karma if you want, but it’s a truth as old as time.
If they changed on a dime, that just tells me that they are trying to save face and possibly their lives as they know they may be held accountable for the lies that cost hundreds of thousands of lives.
