Yeah, using the best words sounds good in some contexts. But usually any more than a tiny bit looks like too much. Who never does that? Trump. He just talks directly to people. He has the best words, that he can tell you. :) But uses them rarely. Never dumbs it down so it sounds patronizing or insulting, either. Walks that fine line like a pro.
