The guard who collapsed is part of a ceremonial unit from Scotland called the Royal Company of Archers whose members are mostly over 70-years-old. They've been rotating in 20-minute shifts during the vigil but I can imagine how challenging it is for folks at that age to stand straight and motionless for long periods of time.
Standing with your knees locked for any substantial period of time can cause light headedness and fainting. Something about how the blood pools or so I’ve been told.
But it’s not particularly unusual for one or more of the Royal Guards or Military Honor Guards to faint during particularly long ceremonies in the U.K. You can find videos and pictures of fainted Guards going back decades.
One of the commenters told everyone exactly why. Don't lock your knees.
If you stand at attention for long periods with your knees locked for some reason you will go down. We were taught that in the military and yet at every function someone would hit the floor, including me one time. kek
At least I didn't keep going until I hit face first. I just went straight down on my butt, and came right back up. The heat was unbearable in Fort Gordon.
I just talked to a lady on the phone. Her friend is in the hospital after having his 6th heart attack in 6 months. They checked for any blockages, but only found a 30% blockage at most.
Exactly. Amazing that people that have seen this happen just for locking the knees are getting downvoted. Sometimes it’s simple and a post doesn’t need to be made.
It's abnormal to stand at attention for long periods of time. Disrupts circulation esp to the brain. Although the jab wouldn't be helping at this point in time.
Standing in place with knee locked will elevate your blood pressure because the blood is pooling downwards and the heart is trying to keep the blood going upward toward the torso, arms and brain.
Fall of the old guard?
First one in the thread interpreting Comms rather than repeating the same life advice
Seriously, this whole thread is copy paste
His knees were probably locked.
His arm was probably jabbed.
Both were probably true.
I am sure it's Climate Change.
His face probably got broke
Every ninth grade band student in Texas is told - don’t lock your knees- and these kids practice in 100 degree heat and don’t pass out 😀
You think they don’t learn how to stand without passing out? I’d assume that’s lesson 1

Vax Induced Faceplant. Dude eats tinned meat and beans and shit - he' probably dead with a clot in his femoral artery big enough to bait tarpon with.
Beans on toast - get it right, yank!
I prefer Cracker.
Is that instead of toast or yank? 😁
Good quip. Instead of Yank ; )
Would you say it was more suddenly, or more unexpectedly?
FWIW the video is 17 seconds long.
I've noticed most short videos are it's kinda weird

We had people fall in long formations. It’s not unheard of.

The best man at my sister's wedding said he almost fainted, said he felt overheated.

Nobody even questions the vax and miocarditis.
This will be the winter of our discontent.
Standing still for long periods.
Seen it happen to a groomsman at a wedding.
Not everything is vaccine related.
Define "Normal" in Clown World anymore..
To be fair, these guys train their entire life just to stand there and not pass out.
They even give them a big stick so they have something to lean on.
It happens all the time, I’ve seen people stand guard and fall for years, very common with long standing without movement in the military ceremonies

The stench of rotting lizard can be over powering.
His job is to stand. Don’t you think the hazards of locking knees is covered in orientation? Vaxx for the fall!
Look at all of the excuses...LORD Please let me go home!!!!

Panic that the big boss protecting you is gone?
Locked knees and jabbed arms......What a combo to hit the deck

Oh Bloody Hell!
Nothing unusual about how he fell out...looked like natural causes from here.
