Unfortunately now the country is more divided as ever. I fear what is going to happen now is that the MSM and democrat cronies are going to do everything in their power [as if they haven't already] to shut down the questioning of elections and brand anyone who does as an insurrectionist, spoiled sport, perpetual denier or sore loser. I'm not really as angry as I thought I was going to be this Wednesday morning. I am actually saddened and trying to find solace wherever I can get it. If the House flips, that's a good thing, but even if the Senate flips you still have an impostor as president. Emboldened democrats will seek every imaginable opportunity to rub our noses in it.

What I do know is that you're basing your entire opinion about this election off of the numbers that are primarily from the mail-in early voting which was primarily done by democrats. And in person voting was four to one Republican over Democrat and those votes have not been counted yet and are not part of the current numbers. So your assumption is based off of the Democrats preferred way to vote and you're not even waiting for the Republicans preferred way to vote which isn't very intelligent. Maybe you're just tired and you're not thinking straight so go take a nap instead of posting illogical and unfounded assertions on the Great Awakening.

Early calls for elections are a strategy to dishearten voters and sway them to get out of line and head home. They've been doing this for years.
There is no way Red voters are getting out of line today. The Democrats have royally pissed off a super majority of the country to the point where they would have to be dragged away from the polls by force to prevent them from casting their ballots.

Note that in Ohio, absentee ballots are tallied first. So Dems usually pop out to early leads and then Republicans come out ahead later.
We just need to do away with absentee ballots as a whole. Requiring people to get off their butts to go vote really shows that you're willing to do what it takes to take care of our country. Conservatives will stand in line all day, while most Liberals I know find excuses not to go. The more we make voting more convenient, the easier it is for lazy dumb people to be convinced to vote for more free stuff.

FYI, there is a huge difference between absentee ballots and the bullshit mail-in ballots that have only come into mainstream existence since Covid. I have had multiple absentee ballots since my work requires a lot of extensive travel. The absentee ballots are very difficult to cheat with.

You are required to submit a request to the county registrar and returned prior to the end of October. It requires personally identifiable information, Full name, DOB, last 4 of your social and you have to have been a registered voter in that district. You receive your ballot in the maila nd you fill it out. When you sign it, it has to be witnessed by another person and signed by them too. A simple "mail in" ballot has been distributed to all voters in a district, alive or dead to their residence of record, regardless of whether they have moves out of the area. No request is filed and no proof is required. Anyone can fill it out and send it in. The problem is that the States and districts with widespread fraud is that the people that count the ballots are counting them regardless if they are filled out improperly or missing personal information. No identity confirmation required.
If you have to turn in the ballot in person and show your ID, then this isn't an Absentee ballot, it's just early voting. It does look like you can mail it in without showing ID, but then we're back to where we started.
I believe the issue is that absentee ballots have required PII that is not normally available to your average scammer. Yes, a family member could use your personal information to request an absentee ballot and sign both the witness block, as well as forge the signature of the person in question, but this is far more difficult than just filling in an unrequested mass mailed ballot with any old information. This was the big fight about ballots being adjudicated, even though they were unsigned or the signature didn't match the registration signatures or the ballots were incompletely filled out like forgeries. It doesn't seem like a big difference, but it actually does make a difference. The rules for absentee ballots is more difficult to cheat because there would only be a limited number of ballots that be fraudulent. Ot would take a huge amount of coordination and it would be far easier to detect.

Husband and I voted today in central KY. We're in our mid 40s and have never seen a line like that for an election in our lifetimes. EASILY hundreds of people waiting, husband thought it was closer to a thousand in our convention center, this was at about 3pm Eastern. Took us about an hr to get through the line to vote.

I got a robocall from Trump yesterday asking me to vote for Sandy Smith, who is running for US Representative from District 1 in NC.
I voted in person this morning. There were more people in line than usual, but the ballot scanner count was only in the 200s when I scanned my paper ballot.
Our county school board election had 5 candidates, of which we could choose two. Two of the candidates were former military. One of the candidates had been convicted of indecent exposure some time in the past. And the two women running were buddies, and one of them was really gung-ho about "inclusiveness." Guess which two I voted for.
Got my 10k ballots printed and ready for drop off early tomorrow morning! LFG!!!
