I blame To Kill A Mockingbird for today's problems.
Forget any racial connotations, what I'm talking about is the Boo Radley character.
Books like this teach that the weirdos down the street are in actuality, going to save your life. This is pure fiction, trust your gut instead. If someone sets off alarm bells in your head, don't let your kids near them.
No, don't. I was around when TKAM was published (and later made into a major Hollywood movie), and I can testify that its main claim to fame was its "racial connotations."
At this point I'm not sure about old Joe. Yeah, he's creepy as all get out. So is the aging animatronic robots a Chucky Cheese. Not sure if that's a real person under that skin mask
Passing off a fake diary as being non-fiction, when the supposed author died a few years before the invention of the ball-point pen that the pages were written in.
I read this book 30+ years ago. That is why I am not a "normie", he laid all this evil out for us. Silent weapons for secret wars is another recommendation.
I read that back in the early 80s. The part that really stuck with me was the idea that the author(s) were calling for the illusion of two political parties (the illusion of choice) but saying that they'd own the people on both sides so it wouldn't matter who "won" the elections. I believe blackmail was mentioned as a possible tool. The illusion of Choice through voting, but all citizens would get is a Uniparty. And look where the world has ended up.
This is the thing. We are where the mentality is agreeable. The majority is with us. The problem is that tyrants can't accept people living outside their system. They will follow wherever we go. Even if we defeat them, their ilk will rise from the ashes and return with enough time, even if unconnected to the original group.
The solution for tyranny of the minority is not tyranny of the majority. 99.99% of people don't get to decide to fuck over one guy and violate his rights because they all agreed, for example.
Do you not understand the concept that all humans exist, despite what they want? They are forced to share the environment, wether they want to or not.
There must be a line where some will give, others will need. It is that, or violence. And if people wanted that, we'd already have it.
Hence, I have to assume majority would rather peacefully resolve this. With this assumption in place, comes figuring a middle ground.
I think it is more than sensible if 99.99% of 8 billion people oppose one guy, that they get to dictate law. Might makes right. We live in an era where singular people wield power over culture and law by virtue of the society we live in. This society is composed primarily of influencers and followers.
To move forward mankind needs a direction, and because of the dynamics we created for our society, there will always be those whom can influence masses. This is how we ended up in the now and here. Followers taking the steps given onto them by influencers.
Now my suggestion, is to use new tech to literally hand the decision to EVERY citizen indiscriminately. You let the people with the balls to lead influence others, and you leave it at that.
I'm highly sus of Stephen.... He likes using little kids in his horror lit, and it just doesn't set well with me at all. And Dr. Sleep really did it in for me. Vampires who torture kids to eat their "shining" to stay young forever.... Yeah I'm sure that's not going on at all.....
Considering the degree of fame and fortune he earned pumping out dumbed-down horror tripe, I'd have to assume he sold out to the satanists a long time ago. They did their thing, and now he's theirs.
So many of his plots involve a young impressionable boy visiting an elderly reclusive man. And the newish one, "Mr. Harrigan's Phone," that was made into a movie follows the format. Why?
To be fair I never watched IT because I don't like clowns. And tbh I kinda forgot about that movie. Thank you fren for reminding me of yet another reason why Stephen is probably a pedo
SK is a total fuck knuckle. Was a "constant reader" of his up until about the time of the "Under the Dome" debacle...which roughly coincides with about the same time that he started sharing more of his totally unwanted and vomitous political diatribes. Haven't bought a book from him since. Apart from his diseased worldview, he also unfortunately peaked early...his first 3-4 books are his best.
That's right, as usual, captivating an audience makes you part of the machine. It's not even covert or subliminal, it's ridiculously blatant and almost childish at this point. I will still love the early works, but I no longer read his absolute bullshit & whenever I see a tweet, I groan in disappointment.
Agree with this, his TDS is SO overwhelming in his new books, turned me right off. It's like he was turned into a fucking liberal megaphone and that has cost him MANY constant readers!
First off he calls himself Steve? Guys name has been Stephen for a million years. Stephen fucking King. Second you just told kids to haul their ass? Who speaks to kids that way? Kinda funny he’s just a Steve now, loser! You did this, Steve. Steve.
I just want to point out that the Holy Bible is not banned in public schools.
What is not allowed is a teacher or other school employee providing religious instruction, i.e. "preaching" or leading the school in public prayers and such.
Teaching about religion in an objective manner is also allowed. As in , "Here is what the Christian 10 Commandments are, as written in the Bible" would be allowed but "You will go to Hell if you (insert reason here)" is not.
But students along with teachers are allowed to bring their own Bibles to read during their breaks. And many public school libraries do have a copy of the Holy Bible for reference and such.
I feel it's important that people understand that they DO have the right to read their Bible at schools, just the same as they would other books, and posts like these might give someone the impression they don't.
What isn't allowed is people in positions of authority, such as public school employees, giving students religious instruction. And considering how vastly different some denominations are, that's not a 100% bad thing. I know many Protestants who would be angry at a Catholic person telling their child that they need to pray to the Virgin Mary, and some Baptists who would not want a Calvanist telling their kid that predestination is true.
Whether he's a liberal or conservative, is he's a proponent of free speech and freedom of the press as he's portraying himself to be, he'll have zero problem with kids reading the Bible if it's due to being banned in schools.
From what I know of King, he might actually be okay with it.
Now, with the kids 'believing' the Bible, not so much.
Any American liberal worth their salt should support the 1st amendment. It protects them too.
Much like Hagatha Clinton, I’m pretty sure there is a deranged leftist doing SK’s Twitter BS. I can’t see him taking the time for this. Surely he’d rather spend his time draining some toddler of its life force.
Thanks for that, Steve King.
Now Millions of American kids might read Mark Twain books. :>) They can read "Uncle Tom's Cabin" by Harriet Beecher Stowe.
Here is a short list of books banned at many U.S. public schools;
"To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee
"The Diary of a Young Girl" by Anne Frank
"The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" by Mark Twain
"The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" by Mark Twain
"Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck
There are many others. I hope kids DO discover and actually read some of these too.
I blame To Kill A Mockingbird for today's problems.

That's good and all, but not in the scope of what I was talking about.
Typical boomer trait, can only see one aspect of a topic that the media has conditioned them to talk about.
Like Joe Biden.
At this point I'm not sure about old Joe. Yeah, he's creepy as all get out. So is the aging animatronic robots a Chucky Cheese. Not sure if that's a real person under that skin mask
Animatronic rats and an animatronic MAP.
🤮
He's as real as the granpa you dumped in a home.
Now there is a reason you dumped him in a home, god only knows home Joe Blow evaded such fate.
Ironically not in NJ. I’m 24 and we had to read at least 4 of these books in middle/high school.
Live in Jersey, read about four on the list. Favorite was Huckleberry Finn.
Yep, Mockingbird is mine!
Of Mice and Men is banned? really? WTF for?
Im guessing they saw the movie
Passing off a fake diary as being non-fiction, when the supposed author died a few years before the invention of the ball-point pen that the pages were written in.
Oh what, that's a different book on the list.
Ironically, Of mice and men was mandatory here in french canada.
like Protocols of the Elders of Zion?
Would he recommend everyone read that book?
Oh one of my favorites! Add behold a pale horse just for study content.
I read this book 30+ years ago. That is why I am not a "normie", he laid all this evil out for us. Silent weapons for secret wars is another recommendation.
Silent weapons is included in behold a pale horse.
youre right, it was a long time ago
I read that back in the early 80s. Im telling you.
We the people need to enforce , full, unadulterated democracy.
We have the tech.
Politicians are obsolete. Query every citizen, or stop pretending to be democracy.
Democracy is terrible. Tyranny of the majority. All it does is allow a tiny majority to fuck over the rest of the people with impunity.
"Don't like that 50.1% of people think you should be shot for refusing the clot shot? Too bad, come this way and face the wall".
Bro this is why immigration exists. Go where the mentality is agreeable.
Maybe they like shoveling wretch nowadays just to fill the ranks. But really. Like minded people sticking together should not be rocket science.
This is why we NEED borders.
This is the thing. We are where the mentality is agreeable. The majority is with us. The problem is that tyrants can't accept people living outside their system. They will follow wherever we go. Even if we defeat them, their ilk will rise from the ashes and return with enough time, even if unconnected to the original group.

Because its that, or I shoot you till you agree.
I would recommend everyone read that book. I consider it essential context for the apocalypse.
He probably wouldn't recommend it, but he should defend its right to be published.

My thoughts as well. Lots of books about vampires too apparently. Symbolism?
He had to.
His choice in life as write for the global elite or be a drunk.
Any man in that position would have a difficult time .
It is no coincidence that most of his stories feature or include a drunk writer.
So many of his plots involve a young impressionable boy visiting an elderly reclusive man. And the newish one, "Mr. Harrigan's Phone," that was made into a movie follows the format. Why?
Exactly. And apparently quite a few books involving vampires. Symbolism?
Don’t forget the prepubescent gang bang in It.
Yes I totally forgot about that tbh. Never watched IT. Not a single second. I hate clowns. Just another reason why Stephen is sus AF
That is where you lost faith?
Not the child orgy at the end of It part 1?
To be fair I never watched IT because I don't like clowns. And tbh I kinda forgot about that movie. Thank you fren for reminding me of yet another reason why Stephen is probably a pedo
Its a novel exclusive. In the OG tv film , i think they cut it out and just had the red head kiss everyone on the cheek.
Tbh I watch IT for Curry.
"Do you have prince albert in a can?"
Dudes a pedo?
100%

The Stand is a good read, and at this point should probably be required reading in schools. Lol
The Stand is a great book that I think everyone should read too, his early work is incredible, recent work is just a reason to bash Trump lol
I see his true colors, shining through...
That's right, as usual, captivating an audience makes you part of the machine. It's not even covert or subliminal, it's ridiculously blatant and almost childish at this point. Steve meets horrible end... In minecraft.
I think he fell offa da wagon...
...and 1984, and Animal Farm, and Fahrenheit 451, and Brave New World, and Tom Sawyer, and....

We used to ban porn books, and the degenerates got upset.
Fuck Steven King, liberal version of an inbred redneck. Spends thousands of hours thinking up horror. Can't be a normal thing...
Man has king drunk alot of koolaid since he stopped booze.
Whether he's a liberal or conservative, is he's a proponent of free speech and freedom of the press as he's portraying himself to be, he'll have zero problem with kids reading the Bible if it's due to being banned in schools.

he is an unhinged liberal with a monumental case of TDS.
That's what makes him so entertaining!
Go Ted Cruz!
Steven King , God would be ashamed of the degeneracy he has spread. What is Stevens religion?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

His NPC programming must be out of date. Libtards are PRO censorship now.
not like that!!!
whoops.. can't correct the title..
ahhh
