I have a hard time comprehending why/how anyone would willingly mutilate their bodies and turn away from God to promote the opposite of what the Bible and Jesus have gifted us. And never would I believe it would happen in my lifetime.

I'm happy and proud to admit out loud that we ROUNDLY ignored the Grammys last night in our home. The quality of music and lyricism long ago left the industry, probably sometime in the 1990s. These current pack of weirdos are welcome to get together annually to award each other's "talent," but I suspect few are watching anymore.
I didn't even know the Grammys were on. I mostly ignore the TV nowdays....

I didn’t have one when I got married.... but my husband did. I allowed myself to get sucked back in to the tube for a while.... but I’ve mostly escaped again! Now if I watch, it is usually a movie. I think I should start marketing for removal

I had limited access to TV growing up. I preferred being out in the woods anyway and I discovered skating and hardcore/metal when I was 13 and never really joined the " normal world". When I was 20 if I was at a party and a TV was on I would turn it off even if people were watching it and saw " we're at z party - let's party. Or something. Nos I try to limit my screen time on my phones even though sometimes I fail and watch videos on Rumble all day. I think I kind of knew TV was Lizard People propaganda .
Good for you! When I was a kid I spent all summer at the beach- almost never in front of aTV except when sick.... total guilty pleasure!! No TV on school nights, and I thought it was soooo strict.

We rarely watch TV during prime time in the evenings. We play board games instead. Grammys? That's a foreign term in our home.

I would not have known about this - I'm basically off grid in a way. Hitch hiking cross Country for 3 years now the only time I see TV is the weather Channel at truck stops. Buy my book! Just kidding although I am writing one. I started hitch hiking around America in 1995 and basically never stopped traveling. I mean I've lived places for years but knew eventually I would go somewhere else. I've been to all lower 48 states and every major city except Detroit ( been all over MI just skipped the D) yes insert lesbian joke... Anyway always had a yearning to see this Country, never gave a shit about anywhere else although j did spend 3 months in Mexico in 1996. I have done : Amtrak, Greyhound, cars, vans(kind of great since there's space) hitch hiking, freight train hopping( soooo much fun - the ultimate feeling of freedom!) Long hikes etc. I started this trip I'm on now 6/1/2020 in Arkansas and I'm headed there now to " finish" this journey. Went to Oregon, California, Mississippi, Colorado, Wyoming, Florida, Colorado, Florida and now in Alabama. I work for temp agencies when I can , pick up odd jobs, crowd fund, fly signs, dumpster dive/trash pick. Busk with a guitar when I have one. I have a great summer job in Colorado and screw around the rest of the year. Right now ready to settle down, get chickens, grow a garden, cook with wood. Been living in the Matrix too long 》 as in spend a lot of time in McDonald's, truck stops, fast food spots, Starbucks etc. Coffee and wifi. So logistics. Frens that are combat vets say " travel light, freeze at night" That's where I am right now, gave away all sleeping bags blankets and a lot of clothes since weather has been fucked up lately like 31° one night the a few days later 80°F so its either freeze but be able to walk 20 miles ( my daily average) or be cozy at night and be weighed down by gear. I check weather forecasts and make sure I'm in a town or near the Interstate if rain is imminent. Sleep under the bridge, at churches often, if weather is good under a tree, under the stars is bliss. Clothing- as little cotton as possible. Boots with composite toe: steel hurts after a while and is heavy. Getting new socks constantly- easier than laundry - air dryers in restrooms to dry boots socks...hoodie is essential, layers of nylon jackets windbreakers. Can't stress enough- layers. Ironically my pack is heavy now from carrying around my book I'm writing. Got lbs of paper: ridiculous. So fly a sign - there's aggressive like right in front of a store which is a definite run off or a stop sign off property is good since 1A stands on public property.

Train hopping is gnarley if you don't have 3 points of contact... I guess the road itself is hazardous - cars going by 60mph.. people on their phones. I have faith though. There have been some hairy times. Guns pointed at me, close calls with trucks blasting by, tornados, I was in Florida for Hurricane Nicole - stayed under the I-10 and was fine. Almost hit by lightning a few times , like arm hair standing up close, coyotes aren't dangerous but in the woods at night they are fuckjng scary at first. Ok - was in wilderness Wyoming tripping on LSD and a MOUNTAIN LION came to visit. Shot at her with a BB pistol, she left then came back .... I got out of there. Didn't see her but heard the tail swish in the grass like when a cat is about to pounce and felt like Dracula was eyeballing me. THAT was the most scared I've ever been out in it.
