Tomorrow, I am up for a 3rd interview for a position that I really want. I've been laid off since last summer and it's getting tough. I feel pretty good about it, but a part of me is trying to play it down, not get hopes up, etc. frankly, because I don't want to be disappointed again.
However, someone told me the other day that fear and faith are two sides of the same coin. You don't know which side is going to come up until you flip it, so why not lean into faith? So, I am going to take that advice. Therefore, I humbly ask you if you don't mind saying a little prayer for me tonight. It would be most appreciated.

My husband was looking for a job (he had a job but was looking for a better job for a few reasons, if hadn't found another job, he still would have quit, that's how fed up he was there), he prayed to God to put it into his hands - pretty much like you said in your comment GGRockz.
Within a month or so, someone came to him offering him a job that he didn't even apply for, making twice what he was making, doing what he is very good at doing.
Amen. I just went through hell regarding my employment but kept my faith and it worked out beautifully for me and my family. Side note, thanks for recommending Seal Team. It has been a great distraction from this nightmare yet glorious new beginnings of a new era for the future for all of us. WWG1WGA...worldwide.

Thank you for letting me know. I can't tell you how many times in my and my husband's life this occurred. I could drone on about being in a desperate situation and it would all work out. It wasn't anything we were doing it definitely was divine intervention.
This is what is wrong in today's world no one has faith and everyone wants instant gratification.

Keep calm and know that everything will work out and you'll get the job. If you show up confident people will feel confident about you as well. Just know that it's hard to find people who want to work these days, they're probably going to be grateful to have someone like you willing to work hard and a good head on your shoulder, hard to find good people to hire these days!!

Fear has its uses -- it ensures we are focused on the danger we're facing, which is life-saving in some situations.
Not on the one you're facing, though.
Being calm and relaxed will probably do more good for you in that interview than being fearful. THAT is one of the practical, real-world benefits of faith.
We got your back in prayer. Chin up, Chest out, and pinch those cheeks together in the back whenever you feel a little anxiety. Your confidence will prevail. And always have a friendly smile.

Fren, may I add my opinion that 3rd interview is usually a company's trick to make workers feel like they need the company more than the company needs them.
Hope that you will recognize your own value and not let anyone bring you down no matter what!

Let them be able to interview well tomorrow so that this employer will get the information they need to make their hiring decision. Please bless each candidate being considered for this position with a job that suits them well & quickly lead those who do not get this position to the positions that are for them with other employers. My Dad gave me one pearl of advice: Don't be a criminal and you won't have to look over your shoulder all the time and you will sleep at night.
