Last time I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express I awoke at 6 AM, turned on the bed side light to see a bed bug looking up at me from the pillow. I took a close look to make sure it wasn't sesame seed or something. Nope, a bed bug. I pulled out a tissue picked it up and squished it. 3 min. later I was at the front desk showing the young woman sitting there. She picked up the tissue and dropped it in the waste basket. You'll have to speak to the manager, I can't do anything about the bill. It's like she said it multiple times daily. I found some plastic bags and dumped everything except the clothes wife and I were wearing into it them and took off. Yes, they reversed the charge later that morning and the manager apologized but my wife and I were both grossed out an turned off completely from staying in motels, not just Holiday Inn Express. I had a $40 dry cleaning bill and fumigated everything in those bags. Fuck motels.
Having worked in hotels totaling 10 years, they are filthy. 200 bucks a night is 6,000 a month for a bedroom and bath, and if Camilla steals something from you oh well... Walk in white socks for a few min. see how dirty they become. Lola doesn't change the sheets because she has 20 rooms to clean on her shift and they don't look dirty... Bedspreads aren't getting washed because they will soon fall apart. Have clean sheets brought to your room. Every fluid can be on the bedspread, Puke,Feces, Pee, Blood, snot, semen. Take a blacklight and see for yourself. Kills me when people look down on the hotel staff who go home to a clean bed...
