Movie. You can't convince me that Trump and Putin are not working together. Optics.
War hawks are trying to act like this is a big deal, it’s a negotiation, how often in a negotiation is the first offer accepted?
Every time the neocons bend over for the Democrat Communists?
Kek
... he's not president yet.
Kayfabe. Same as the Elon h1b theatrics. All theatrics
Absolutely! My first thoughts as well.
Just said exactly that to the hubby
The Hill is an anti-American rag. Of course they rejected the first proposal. That's because it's a negotiation not a yard sale. They will work out a deal that suits both sides. That's how it works, It's the mechanics of the Art of the Deal.
EXACTLY!
Trump has done this many times before,
do you think the first deal is always gonna be the one accepted?
East Ukraine should be returned to Russia, and west Ukraine should be returned to Poland. It's that simple.
Also no NATO bases 500 miles of russians border.
I'm just an average retard, but I think Trump should ask Putin to join NATO. Warmonger heads would explode worldwide.
US goes out, Russia goes in. Hahahahah
Even better!
The world does not need NATO at all. Name one country that has their military bases on American soil? And the world does not need 740 US bases on foreign soil - mostly uninvited.
at least let the demonic MSM run with that as a headline.
As a general rule, if your first offer is accepted, you probably weren't asking for enough.
EXACTLY
Just this opening paragraph
LOL no, but thanks for the sensationalized wording, wobbleheads. Way to not learn thing one from the precipitous plunge of MSM ratings, and the meteoric rise of independent media, in 2024. Just keep running the same tired playbook. Dimwits.
For the pinheads in the back row: Trump getting a "No" to an opening salvo in a negotiation is not only not a "major" setback; it isn't any kind of "setback" at all. It's a normal, natural, expected part of early negotiating tactics.
Like just paying the sticker price at a car DEALership.
Wat? Were those allies familiar with Trump's thinking too?
Mitt Romney? John Cornyn? Lindsey Graham?
There is a crucial difference between a proposal that Trump makes, and proposals that are floated by Trump supporters. The first is real and the second is vaporware.
The Russians know what they want and need and have shed blood to make it happen. The only deal will be the one that gives them what they need without further bloodshed. I think they would consider a deal that provided them the 4 oblasts intact and Ukraine part of a new Warsaw Pact (Kiev Pact?).
Perhaps it's not quite time yet.
First we Europeans must feel the heat!
Russia has reduced the amount of gas that was pumped through Ukraine, which no European country uses ;-) except for Slovakia and Hungary. Slovakia has threatened to stop the export of electricity to Ukraine.
The American LNG delivered through Romania probably won´t ease the situation because there are adjustments (pressure) to the Ukrainian pipeline system necessary.
https://tkp.at/2024/12/29/hybrider-krieg-um-russisches-erdgas-fuer-europa/ Look at the map and in the upper right you´ll see Sudzha where the pipeline station for the northern system is situated.
"The Russians Successfully Storm Sudzha" https://youtu.be/87ZLj95OvjA When the Kursk Bulge is cleared and all of Donetzk, Saporoschje and Cherson oblasts are under control of the Russain armed forces it will end. I think the end for Ukraine is near. https://www.youtube.com/@militarysummary
When you bring in a 3rd party, there is no demand that Russia or Ukraine agree to anything brought in by the 3rd party.
Why did Russia invade Ukraine? Perhaps because of the 50+ Bioweapons labs all located within 50 miles of the Russian border?
Maybe it was something to do with the death of 14,000 Russian speaking civilians that the Ukraine military killed from the Donbass area after Russia trusted Germany and France by signing the Minsk Accords only to be told recently by Merkel and Hollande that it was a ruse to build up Ukraine’s military to eventually invade Russia under the banner of NATO?
They invaded because heels up Harris went to Europe and said Ukraine was gonna join NATO. That has always been thought to be war. So war is what the deep state war mongers want.
Considering that Russia's first actions as they began what was called an SMO ...A Special Military Operation...Russia's first actions in the first couple weeks as detailed by T Slava on Telegram...24 Bio Labs were raided and paperwork and the servers were taken by the FSB...so considering their first actions were to raid bio-labs Hobar's off by a few labs but he has got the right idea...Russian generals who know the truth blow up frequently as result but doesn't stop anything.
Goal is to free Ukraine from its Cabal leaders, not let them retain power with sudden peace...
Ukraine is the most corrupt country in Europe - perhaps the world. Many leaders from around the world that are pouring billions$ of taxpayers money into Ukraine - why? Putin knows. Lavrov knows and many more in the Putin administration. And those fighting to protect Russia from encroaching NATO and the Nazi ideas know. They have seen the biolabs, the human and sex trafficking and the organ harvesting. Ukraine is a dead country. The cabal have moved on to their mansions in Europe and Zelensky gets to chose which house of four he can move to, including one in Florida.
"Trump team" vs Trump - this is theater & headline a bit misleading. ...Drumming up clicks the Hill is.
Ya I get it, Trump needs to deligate tasks.
Trump himself will step in for win, IMO.
Fake news
Optics is everything.
Putin isn’t the Boogieman
because it sucks
If his proposal was leaked....maybe it was not his plan. He said he would keep his proposal secret until officially proposed and I cannot imagine his team leaking it. So far his team has been tight-lipped about everything.
I don't blame Russia one bit. Remember when we DENIED that there were biolabs in Ukraine...then had to admit there were biolabs...then had to admit ultimately that our military was operating bio-labs in Ukraine? We lied until Russia presented evidence from biolabs they destroyed in Ukraine.

What would WE do if we found that the Russian military was operating bio-labs in Northern Mexico?
Gotta make friction to combat the Putin Puppet smear.
Trump has a plan to get the Ukraine Russia war settled and he gave his team, probably, part of that plan. The other part he will present to Russia and Ukraine-maybe on his own. He, Trump, does a lot of the set-up/prep work through surrogates, then he gets a feel for what is needed and proposes that, but what do I know? Trump is the master of planning, at least in this instance, much better at it than I am or I will probably be at it.
Russia will not allow NATO bases on their borders. Ever. Trump needs to understand that. Besides, the world is not dealing with some tinpot leader - they are dealing with the most powerful country in the world both financially and militarily. Trump holds no cards and the faster he realises that, the better. Putin does not trust the West - no matter what Trump states. Notice how quiet Trump has become on this issue? Hopefully someone like Colonel Doug MacGregor has explained that Putin is not bluffing. The rush to boast about nuclear capabilities is over. Russia doesn’t need them. One word. Oreshnik. It does far greater damage than nuclear can do - without the fallout. Russia just ended the arms race and the rest of the world has no idea what happened. Be thankful that Putin is not a warmonger like many leaders around the world. He cares only about the safety of the Russian people and her borders. Name one other leader that thinks like that.

Future targets are the yapping Chihuahuas. If their country is used to launch into Russian territory then I don’t like their chances. Look at Finland - Sweden - Denmark. Panicking and building bunkers, borders etc. NATO has scared them senseless.
why isnt there a 2a in russia?
You can own a gun in Russia. Like in many countries there are restrictions. Age. Training. Medical checks. etc.
2A is about having the right. As a default. Thats why in the US there are 125 guns per 100 people, at least. And in Russia, there is 12 per 100. A mere quarter of the amount that most European nations boast. I just wonder why?
No idea. Pray tell.
I dont know either. Is it the same reason there is gun control in other countries, or is there a special reason? Which is more likely? Is there something we can learn from Putin?
Oreshnik is powerful and adequate to the task, but is still an order of magnitude below a small nuke.
Combined with the SARMAT and the Poseidon and the fact Oreshnik is nuclear capable, we have no idea what Russia is producing. This is the SU-57

While the US (and other decision making centres) are sending $billions of taxpayers money into Ukraine, for who? what? why? Russia is spending their taxpayers money in protecting the people. And not an NGO deal in sight.
Actually, we do have an idea. My first introduction to the SU-27 Flanker was from government sources in 1978. (It wasn't introduced until 1985.) Same thing with Soviet ICBM design. Not all intelligence information is misused.
As for Ukraine, a Polish official asserts that half of the support funding is laundered and returned to U.S. members of Congress, so it is a self-feeding kickback machine. Russia has always been serious about its military developments, and is capable of genius engineering.
If Americans knew what previous and current Congress members are involved in crimes in Ukraine, there would be a civil war. Trump has a huge job ahead of him cleaning up the corruption in every department. If he can, he could stand beside Putin as an equal, but it has taken Putin 25 years to clean up the corruption and right the sinking ship. Trump doesn’t have that time. I follow a Canadian family that have moved to Russia. They felt the way Canada was trending against farming, families and faith, they needed to move. They also have 8 children. The statement - God helps those who help themselves - could be applied to them. Russia has created an area outside Moscow, where those who wish to migrate can find temporary accommodation, open bank accounts, find work, enrol children in school, (although Putin has introduced a law that immigrating children (and their families) must be actively learning Russian) in the last week or so. It’s a one stop shop for an introduction to all things Russia.
People will be shocked if they think Moscow is some backwater swamp. It’s incredibly modern with state of the art infrastructure etc. Shopping centres that in many cases are better designed and accessible than many cities with transit stations feeding into basements. Housing is affordable with subsidies to those in services like paramedics, firemen, police and military. Large families also get subsidies.
Every week this family I mentioned receive boxes of gifts from people all over Russia. Bedding. Towels. Cooking equipment. Clothes. Toys. Chocolates. Curtains. Books etc. The Mum often breaks down with the generosity of strangers. But they have fitted in and are busy building a house, a barn etc. on their own.
Interesting to hear. I know what you mean about the ignorant sense of Western superiority. I used to enjoy viewing traffic disaster videos cribbed from TikTok---not that I enjoy disasters, but I do have a horrified fascination for their variety and unexpectedness. So, the point here is that a good many come from traffic in Russia (which I deduce from the street signs). It is interesting to notice the scenery and surroundings. There is a lot of traffic, thus plenty of roadway and highway. There are a lot of vehicles, not always luxury cars, but perfectly ordinary trucks and sedans. There are a lot of buildings...and advertising billboards...out beyond the center of any nearby metropolis. Not the picture of starving kulaks using steam tractors.
Nobody thinks the capitol city of a major world power like Russia, is a back water. 13 million people live there. That is the population of NYC and Los Angeles combined.
it's not going to work just before it does.
More negotiations on the way
I saw this couple of days ago, decided not to post since there was no solid sauce on actually Putin saying it.
You don't run out your first offer expecting a yes. That's why your opening option can also be your most aggressive. Expect a counter offer and hopefully from there you can start working to bridge the gap and get a deal done.
I think Russia will force Trump to release information about the COVID virus and labs!
President 45 is not Presdient 47 just yet. 47 on 1/20/25 will be able to excert his power than.
So much for the medias Russia collusion with trump fakery.
