Yes! We have the technology today where everyone can see that their vote was accurately recorded but still anonymous to everyone but them & a receipt that they can prove how they voted if their vote was recorded incorrectly
Not a good idea. The reason we have the two-term limit in the first place is because FDR wanted to stay in office till he died. Which he did.
But we have never been able to balance it out. If President Trump is able to stay in office, could you imagine how angry that would make the libs? Can we really trust anyone else? I think if the elites can use Adrenochrome to stay alive forever, then we need to fight fire with fire.

If Trump can fix the elections so that they cannot be rigged, I don't mind a president having as many terms as the American people will have him.
Congress is showing what a horrible option that is though. It’s really hard to primary somebody so the same bad people just stay in power because everyone just votes for whoever is in their party. Regardless if it’s a good person to be there or not.

At what point (in your highly educated opinion) does someone people vote for become inelligible to be voted for? Is it 4 years? 8 years? 12 years? Is it until they become the age of 72? 65? 90?

8 years. It’s literally in the constitution. The country put that there because of FDR and realized that wasn’t a good situation. Now we are going to throw that out because our guy is in power? I’m guessing the vast majority of people on here are for term limits for congress, so in your opinion, why does it make sense to undo the progress that we made with the presidency? (And if you are anti congressional term limits then that is fine and is an answer also.)

It’s coming across as you’re just trying to be cute with your wording and implying that I don’t think peoples votes should count. If you’re against term limits just say you are against term limits and that be that. If you’re seriously asking, I think eight years for a congressman and 12 years for a senator is when term limit should kick in and so yes, that’s the point at which peoples votes don’t count anymore 🙄

People also tend not to pay attention to House and Senate candidates, voting for familiar sounding names.
Hopefully after Trump's term is up and his work and legacy cemented in place, we won't need to worry about this! I guess we'll see!

Whatever the attempt or event intended, I feel Trump will leverage it in our favor. Getting people talking about Presidental term limits brings up Congressional Term limits also.
Trump 45~47 really has one more big fight in him I beleive and that is the mid terms. We will push hard to get as many MAGA voted. This way all these E/O's can become law. I am sure he will help campaing with J.D. but the big rallies that he does will be up to J.D.

Exactly. I'm not completely close-minded to this because this restriction was only created at the time of FDR. I'm not necessarily advocating it either. But we should honestly think about / discuss it first then decide.

This is a major danger zone. Gates swing two ways. I think people can lose sight of what happens on the other side if that gate swings back into you. In other words don’t make a rule you don’t want to live under. So many of us barely survived the last 3 term president as another poster pointed out. That was with a four year break between. Hard no. We need to cultivate leadership so we have so many great choices that we don’t need one president for three terms

I heard a woman talk about being in a sales meeting with Trump. He wanted to sell these people some land. But he started talking and never even mentioned the land but rather talked about something else.
