This just happened, earlier I mentioned to my wife that I had pain in my hip & might need hip replacement. Neither she or I did any search about it, then a few hours later she started getting posts on FB about hip replacement. Maybe our cell phones or TV are listening. This really happened, spooky. 🤨

Yep. Q basically told us if a phone were present they could listen. And from what I can decipher the phone doesn't need to be turned on for them to tap into the mic. That's why SCIFs don't allow phones inside.
Which is also why you can't take the battery out of your phone any more
It happens all the time. I've been to department stores to shop for something, then come home and get ads for that item on my Roku TV. Everything is linked. All your accounts. Your phone tells them where you go and what you might be shopping for. Nothing is private anymore.
This happens in my house ALL the time. Will be talking to someone in the kitchen while I am cooking, and after dinner I'll go to my office to get on my computer.... and be darn... there all kinds of ads and videos related to what I was talking about in the kitchen just an hour earlier. We have even "tested" it, and it happens all the time. One time we talked about some rare plant and sure enough, got a link to that plants medicinal use.
I mentioned to my wife that our roof was 15 years old, and have been inundated with roofing offers ever since. It happens with a lot of things. We don’t have smart devices other than iPhones and tv.
Phones and TVs are more than enough to listen in to you… sadly.

Chaff: Have a bot read the dictionary to your Alexa when you're out. Maybe if we all did it at once, we could get the servers to crash.
Kind of like organizing the frat boys to flush all the building toilets at once to ruin the plumbing.
Maybe we could get some sort of whisper app, so that the spyware could hear it but humans cannot. A good practical joke, you could program it to whisper words to search for pro-Russia narratives, and then leave it running in your favorite liberal neighbor's window to steer them away from slava Ukraine. Or just promote constant searches for dog biscuits on your cat-loving cousin's phone.

No reason those flip phones couldn’t be just as bad as the TV or washing machine. The bag helps of course, but also makes it a one-way signal.
We really just need to have control of signals again somehow. That, or the appearance of that, are probably some distance off.
Good point about control of signals. Right now they are in the hands of tech tyrants. However, much less use of mobile phones makes a lot of sense.

My sister and her husband just purchased a new TV. He is a pastor. They love watching " Walking Dead". Go figure. He was in his recliner and she on the couch with her dog and cat.......... Then Suddenly a picture flashes on the new TV screen. It is them, watching TV, in their same clothes and in their same chairs. It was not live, but it had just been taken. Then a message ran across the screen asking for 1 M for the pic or it would go on the internet for all to see! WOW. She told me they ripped the TV cord out of the wall and wrapped it back up and returned it. To this day they get there news and weather from the computer in another room and then turn it off.
I would think there will be a boom in new appliances purchases made in the US after this Great Awakening discloses the 1984 Event. At lease I haven't been vaporized by the microwave. 😮😂

I’ve also noticed this, the adds starting to pop up after mentioning a particular something … it’s invasive it’s the Smart TV and Smart phones for sure.
Yesterday I was texting to Mother in-law & mentioned the sister in-law & she texted back & a picture of us hugging showed up & that picture isn’t in my phone nor was it sent in the text - when I looked at the message it was just text wtf 😳

Probably some crap we don’t even know about like the modems. Your car is probably listening if it’s newer than 2008, and maybe if it’s older, too.
Any neighbor or friend who steps around with a SMART device is listening. Every PC unless you built your own to specific settings, and possibly even then.
They might not even need a device nearby.
It’s not a possibility, they definitely have a lot of monitoring capability and if you dig on advertising companies and profile aggregators, they’re definitely doing… something with it.

I used to have hip pain. PCP told me what the thought caused it. But never offered me any treatment. I was in quite a bit of pain, but when COVID descended I started taking IVM. I do not have any consistent pain now. Turmeric is good for that too, but take the pills.

Hugs fren this one is a bitter pill. Yes they are and have been for sometime. Worse not just those who theoretically need a reason. Our rights have been sold to the highest bidder and worse we pay for the privilege. In theory they claim it is only for marketing purposes but I am completely convinced that now with AI they can comb through all our conversations and that permanent record thing we all got threatened with may be an actual thing now. Who needs this data? The only reason I can imagine is for nefarious purposes. Here is one even worse they are listening and my dear friend was wearing a shirt a gift from her sister who bought it on vacation. It had a resort logo which featured an unusual female figure with odd details. My friend starts getting all these odd messages about Hindi Gods. ( she is Christian) and finally realized it was her shirt. Her shirt she had not spoken about nor taken a photo of. So we are there. What has kept me personally sane ( ish) is the belief that they are actually inspurimg their own ousting one overstep at a time.

Put the cell phone in a faraday cage. Disable the bluetooth/wifi chips on the TV, use yopur alexis (ro facsimile) as a skeet target, and get a landline for any phone calls. I have a simple POTS phone that does nothing but make phone calls. I live remote, and most of the time I don't even get cell reception, or even TV signals. Can't have satellite or starlink. Only dsl.

This has been going on for years. I got so sick and disgusted by it, I gave up my cell phone and went back to a LAND line with AT&T. That scaled it back. Have to be mindful around the TV. Not hard. If anything...Life is so much better without the smart phone.
