This site is flat out broken and something needs to be done about it. Why are we still here? Surely we have enough members now to create and develop and pay for, our own website. Why the fuck are we still using communities.win? This site is pure dog shit.
I am almost to the point of never returning. You guys are great. I love you guys. I consider ALL of you my friends. We have an awesome group of people here. I have zero complaints about anyone here. Just to be clear. But this site frustrates me to the point I don't want to come here anymore.
The Mods and creators of this board really need to consider taking GAW to the next level. I'm simply asking if this is possible? I actually know a bit about this because I too was a mod on GAW. Anyway I figured I'd get the discussion started. You guys know what to do, we get enough frens saying "This ain't a bad idea - lets do this" and the Mods just might agree and make this happen. I think we could end up with one of the best sites online, not this steaming pile of frustrating dog shit of a site - NOTHING WORKS!!! and I'm sick of it.
Come on Mods! You can make this happen. Q ain't going anywhere, and we are only growing. This has got to be one of the fastest growing sites online today. You would easily be getting millions of hits a day, and congratulations, you do a Stella job! I know, I've been there. We can raise the funds, and we have the tech now to do it. I can't see any downside to having a functional kickass website. Why?

I'm not sure what you're talking about? This is my home page and my go-to site as an answer for a faulty, biased MSM. With discernment as my guide, I can usually tell what is real and what is bogus here. I'm quite comfortable with the ability to read alternative stuff, opine when the mood strikes me, or move on when it doesn't.

Of course I read the post; I don't comment on things I haven't read. But I still have no idea what your complaint is about this site. I find it satisfactory just as it is. And judging from other comments and down-votes, I see that I'm not alone.
The site is supposedly shite from a technical standpoint and using better tech could make the general impact of the site and its contents better.
What's wrong with the content? This is the best informed site I have visited. No commercials, overload of the best information and the most erudite commentary, with room for people like me.

The content is fine, it‘s the technical structure that bothers OP.
There are posts, which you can list by importance or date, and there are comments where you can converse with others. I don't see anything technically wrong here. It doesn't need to be flashy and a strain on anyone's connection or equipment. When I code sites, I try to be mindful of poor people in eastern Europe who may only have old DOS machines or at best Windows 3.1. I try to write HTML that will work on any of those browsers. There is code you can add to check for browser compatibility.
Do you want the text to flash colors like a beginner's site from the 90s? Or do you want it larded up with a ton of high def images that slow down loading for people still on slower connections? Many people bail on sites that take more than a few seconds to display content.
I have been coding for 30 years and know what makes sites accessible to the most people worldwide. I wrote my church's site, and we were getting lots of hits from eastern Europe and Russia.

The only technical errors i've ever had on this site, are if i'm scrolling a lot, sometimes it will duplicate a few posts in the feed, but it's hardly an annoyance.

I am a software developer and specialize in not only backend systems like bespoke monitoring and network/IP allocations I also produce enterprise level UI’s to front these. All within a global corporation. From 25 years in the industry I gotta say this place and the .wins in general are excellent. By keeping it here and not expanding you keep the feel of the place and keep folks within boundaries that let us focus on the content being shared more than the workings of the site. I’d also second anyone else saying they haven’t had any other real issues. Lastly… on images: it is refreshing actually coming here and knowing I’m going to see witty comments and not quickly drummed up memes for replies to everything. The very quirkiness of the .wins in my opinion has been a big factor in making this site successful. Also… use Brave or Zen (really liking Zen lately but still getting used to it) browsers :)

Just things like images. I am yet to watch a video on this site and its purely frustrating. We could do way better, our way, if we wanted. The frustrating part is my browser has no problems on any other site but here. I can't even play a video here. Yet, nowhere else do I have any issues.

When you try and view a video on this site, you have to right click and select Open in new tab. Then the video will play.
I have similar problems watching videos displayed here on Firefox, but I have zero problems on Chrome.

YouTube has changed things to make it harder for sites to link videos and have them play on the same page and not go to YouTube's site. I think part of it is the money. This site is free.
If you're so good, write your own site. I don't care if a video plays in the same page or opens in a new page at the originating site. Maybe the problem is you are too picky. If a video is supposed to play here, it plays here for me. Perhaps you should get a modern browser, such as Brave. I use that, and I haven't seen an ad anywhere on the internet in years, especially on YouTube.
The video not playing is a relatively new issue. It used to work fine a few months ago. I don't know what the cause of it is.

We have never gone after merchandise or growth for the sake of it, we've concentrated on being a place where people talk about Q strategy and decodes and we remove people who de-rail this.

If you don't like a site, quit going to it. It's very simple. If you have it bookmarked, delete the bookmark. It's easy. Then you don't have to worry about it.
This site functions. It doesn't need a ton of flash. I'd rather go to straightforward sites that function simply. I have been to flashy corporate sites where I could never find what I wanted and just gave up.
There are posts here, and people can converse with each other in the comments. It's free, which is another plus. I like free.

For me nothing much works. I have never watched a video from this site. They simply refuse to work. I also have repeated errors posting. I get this: Unknown Credentials. I log in fine. As soon as I hit save, I get this error. Sometimes I have made a large post, and this error pops up and I lose everything. Imagines don't work. All the crap really is about nothing working for me. Here's the thing my friend - I ONLY get this here. Every other site I visit, my broswer/site works perfectly. I'm using latest Firefox. Yes my set-up is heavily modified. I use blockers, VPN and so on. Basically I am pretty much ad free across the internet. I don't have any issues with my set-up. I come here, I log in and I make a post (this is why you never see me make new posts) I always get this Unknown Credentials error message. Images don't work, links don't work and video's don't work. I pretty much just read and that's it. I'm over it. All I did was suggest we do our own website, hell, copy this one, I don't care. Anyway, things seem to have settled down and peeps have moved on. I'm completely over it, I'll just put up with this site, and ONLY this site, will not play nice with my set-up.
Fair enough, i don't think youtube videos can be embedded here any more, and sometimes catbox videos embed with the wrong size, but i just middle click everything to watch the video at its source site. I've had no trouble with images, and also twitter videos embed and play fine on this site for me.
Are you just using the normal ad blocker extensions? Or do you have extra blocking stuff? Maybe that is messing with the site and preventing images loading for you.

I had a bit of a talk to my guy, he takes care of my money. Anyway all up $50k and I'm up and running. He's taking care of business, the only risk I face is execution. Everything else will be profit. Aimed at people who's lifestyles revolve around Q, gaming, and internet life.

I went from VOAT to here. To be honest, when VOAT shut down, I was contacted by one of the mods @ VOAT, but he was wierd. He started all that blame game, and who's fault it was that VOAT was shut down. I played along, simply because I wanted to know what he was talking about, so I made out I was on his side. It was wierd, people started picking sides, blame and all that crap. I sometimes wonder if it was like a set-up, sort who was who kind of thing. Then this place opened. I figured and do wonder if any of the mods from VOAT are now mods here? If so, I probably know you guys already? Anyway, I contacted catsfive. And I said I want to help out around here. Sort of do the night shift job, like I did at VOAT. I kept things nice, whilst everyone slept. Because I'm in Australia, when I visit, not many are around. So @ VOAT, I mostly did clean up stuff.
