I broke and sprained my ankle back in 2013 or so. I was not given a cast because the sprain held everything in place and would take longer to heal than the break, as per my doctor at the VA

Yeah sprains can be terrible. I had a "not so bad" ankle sprain according to my doctor and my foot and ankle were swollen, bruised and in pain for over a month.

Swelling is known to stabilize bones in the feet for long distance runners. Sprains cause swelling.

There is absolutely nothing about running again if you are impeached. Impeached means you lose that office. Period. You can run again. The constitution in a civil war post says you can't run if you committed treason.
