Well, I’m not lying. She was a school teacher. Not really a moron. I think the elderly are brainwashed the most. And it’s hard for them to pack up and leave. Idk I’ve gotten into arguments with her, try my hardest to give her good, honest info but she refuses to hear anything. CNN has been a trusted news source for her for decades. And the news in upstate praises Cuomo highly. I don’t disagree that people are leaving in droves. I’m just saying, in response to your “75 people” comment.. she is one of them. Lol sadly.
Ok this is true. A lot of older people remember CNN as actually being an ok source of news I personally am not sure that ever was the case however, it was one of the original 24 hour news sources, and some seniors have it as a point of pride to be a "well informed" via CNN and other mainstream news. It's very hard to get them to see the news as liars because part of their identity is wrapped up in this idea.
They also remember Mario Cuomo, very charismatic, and they give the sons the benefit of the doubt because of Dad.
Ol Mario kept corruption on the down low and left everyone alone.

My optimistic interpretation isn’t that they went from cnn to fox but that cnn’s losses finally caught up with fox’s. I’m sure that’s not entirely the case but it is a possibility.

I never paid attention to the news before 2020. Considered myself pretty liberal, until I was forced to work from home and started asking questions, then quickly realized I was not... which led me to Q. I hated MSM and basically knew [they] were lying to me but never really knew. I even hated Fox or anything politics. The people here and places like this is were I've been getting my news ever since. It's honestly mind blowing to me to see that news almost before it happens...

Last year just as the covid was starting I asked my boyfriend to go to CNN to see updates and it was then my boyfriend told me they were fake news. Wow, it woke me up so fast. I remember growing up and watching news. Back then it was real journalism. I did not realize how much the media is corrupt. 2020 was very much an eye opener to me. Glad, I woke up. The American people will really be pissed off once they learn the truth.
