I think the problem is that people who are good at hitting a vein won't do it to kill someone and the result is a lot of painful puncturing which the usual suspects sue the state over. Plus, I never thought this concoction was the most humane way to poison someone and as I recall the inventor finally agreed.

Yes, but you want to be sure the person dies and you don't end up with some brain-dead person in a coma. I can imagine the screaming over killing a poor disabled prisoner. You would hope your prisoner on death row for 18 years would not have any tolerance for street drugs, but they might. They don't need to be injected either.
It makes no sense but there have been "botched" executions in every method.

I think yall need to remember that this kind of stuff isn't really a positive thing. Executing criminals may be the "right" thing to do, but keep in mind, it's really shitty.
This sucks. It's really sad. Even if they deserve it and it is the best course of action, it's still terrible. It isn't really the kind of thing to be celebrated.
I just think of the children that are raped and murdered due to the actions of these people. That isn't criminal. That is evil. The celebration isn't about the killing. The celebration is because the tide is turning. Evil doesn't get to win.
This is very true. But I find that people on this site (maybe not you) get too excited about putting people to death, and they lose the fact that the positive part of justice is not the aspect of revenge. I am more than ready to have these genocidal idiots reprimanded, but their deaths are not exactly what we should be celebrating. It is misguided emotional thinking and a bad attitude to have with things as serious as these.

I honestly do not understand the controversy. Put them in an altitude chamber and start drawing down the pressure. First, they become unconscious. And then they become dead.
There are so many ways someone can die with medications. I don't understand all of this drama either. The gas chamber seems inefficient.
