I saw the same shit a few years back when I was living down by Houston. The wife was watching the news, and she said that storm really tore up Galveston.
I went in an looked at their pictures from a helicopter. They were circling a big condo with all that devastation.
I told her, I was fishing down there on the beach right by that place. They are full of shit that is a construction site, and it looked exactly the same when I was there before the storm. The fucking media will lie and sensationalize things when the truth would sound better.
I watched an even more sinister event when MSNBC used cropped footage of a white supremacist with an AR15 coming to an Arizona rally to emphasize white man bad; guns bad. Their problem was there were other cameras that didn't crop it to lie. The man was a black man with a white shirt and tie that brought his AR to the rally which was perfectly legal in AZ.
The current media has to be taken out, and in my opinion they should be the first to go down. Stop the feed of lies, and the brainwashed might actually start to question their cage.
I have been a huge WeatherUnderground supporter since 2005 when I discovered Jeff Master's hurricane blog. Living in Florida, that blog was a godsend. Weather Channel bought WU (I think) after IBM bought them. And it's been a massacre since. Jeff Masters left and WU forecasts are crap too.
It's been a concerted effort by IBM to destroy our weather forecasting?
We ride also. And your analysis of the appearance of weather getting worse is spot on. That jives with what we've seen with the hurricane forecasts as well as the real time data. The storm strength NEVER matches with the measured wind speed. Michael was bad, really bad, but the measured wind speeds were not Cat 5. Yet they bumped it up to a Cat 5. Why? To scare people...
Genius! Also helps when the general public makes plans on those predictions and then had to consider changing their plans cause of that darn global warming climate change problem.
But the weather says a hurricane a commin so we can’t visit the folks for the fourth
I’ve taken to turning off the problematic predictions. Live ya Day anyway
It makes sense, big tech is getting into the weather game as it’s all about local data collection / mining. It also opens up access to weather stations and monitoring equipment… from there you can now bid on gov contracts for hardware installations.
Apple and Microsoft are small players in the game, IBM on the other hand… loads of gov contracts.
IBM tends to make its people use their own tech products, too, from personal experience, even when they know it's faulty and there are better products out there, lol.
Yeah, bad case of "not made here syndrome". This causes reinventing the wheel, only the new made here wheel is 3 times as expensive and half as performant as normal wheels available on the public market.
Microsoft used to have this badly, it's gotten better.
Mitch: 'W-we're not sure what exactly is going on inside the town of Beaverton, uh Tom, but we're reporting that there's looting, raping, and yes, even acts of cannibalism.'
Tom: 'My God, you've, you've actually seen people looting, raping and eating each other?'
Mitch: 'No, no, we haven't actually seen it Tom, we're just reporting it.'
Seriously. This is nothing but an extended afternoon thunderstorm. No one is even really stocking up on stuff. I’m planning on staying home and not driving during the worst parts, but that’s about it
I don’t understand all the hype. I’m less than five miles off the gulf coast in SWFL. Been here 13 years. Why all this fear mongering about a tropical storm? It’s not even a hurricane. Even the hurricanes aren’t as bad as the talking heads in the tv pretend they are. All this for a few hours of some rain and a couple of wind gusts? Weird.
I went to 4 in Maryland and 2 in PA just to look. Less than normal patients & 2 were almost empty. Less than normal cuz only “Covid” cases were allowed. No visitations at any.
My husband has been complaining about them over-hyping the storms for years. We are Floridians and are barely watching this storm. (Although keeping a wary eye on it since Charley and Michael blew up too quickly in the Gulf.)
I wouldn’t put it past weather orgs to intentionally report or forecast for milder weather, rain, etc. It gets everyone going with the “man it wasn’t supposed to be this hot,” or “wow we haven’t had rein in weeks it’s getting dry.” Pile on the global warming propaganda aaaaand...... fuse & gasoline.
You've heard the saying "any port in a storm"? The left wing Weather Channel Hurricane Coverage is the latest attempt at a False Flag to divert from AZ Audit results. Any channel in this shitstorm, I guess.
I’ve noticed that the weather has been hyped up more and more for years now. Ditto things like salmonella outbreaks. I never understood why until the COVID hysteria. Now I just see it as beta testing their fear porn tactics.
They used to scare my dad all the time. Every time a hurricane was approaching Florida, he would call me all worried. They always made it sound much worse than it was. It was usually just windy and rainy.
According to Matt Gaetz, Florida is also good at emergencies because we have one every third day. (Random news interview from early 2020, but I'd agree with that assessment).
In his CPAC 2021 speech, he said "Every day, I'm a Florida Man!"
I’m not personally an adherent to this hypothesis because I’d like actual evidence, but it’s one of the most interesting things I have ever heard and physically makes my brain buzz:
The collective power of human consciousness creates the weather. Almost like Inception, when a potential weather pattern is revealed to the people by the weather forecaster, the psychic energy collected by the eyeballs on the program coalesces into the creation of the weather pattern. Since humans and this world itself are just a collection of light and energy, the environment we experience is almost like a collective matrix with real physics and the power of collective thought can harness this energy to manipulate our world. This is “faith that can move mountains”, though the only people who talk about stuff like this seem to also be super into aliens and taking mushrooms and smoking pot.
So take that with a grain of salt. But it’s certainly very fun to think about. Especially as we continue to have increasingly severe weather and the fear porn continues to build. Obviously cloud seeding and weather manipulation has a ton to do with this, and they never mention it in the weather forecasts: “Military planes are spraying aluminum into the atmosphere in order to flood the farms so the government can shut down domestic food production so they can import food, leading to even greater levels of control” just doesn’t roll off the tongue of a bubbly weather girl controlled by the station owner.
Again, it’s probably nonsense, but I enjoy the thought experiment.
They are no different than any other fake news. I remember a couple years ago Jim Cantore was filming a hurricane update. He was acting like he couldn't stand in the wind. Right behind him two teenagers walk past in the frame like nothing was wrong.

The “Weather Channel” is just another control channel for the CIA Mockingbird operation.
Pentagon says Global Warming is the biggest threat facing USA
IBM buys Weather Channel
refresh my memory, was it not IBM that was financing the (((NAZIS))) ?
I dunno about financing but they helped the nazis with a system to catalogue the jews.
thank you!
Sponsored by Lowes and Home depot?
Considering the cost of plywood...
The news is all planned months in advance. Q's moves and countermoves has been screwing with them.

excellent insight and I think you're over the target

I live in New England. Every snowstorm is the ''storm of the century."
Exactly, since when do we have to name every single snowflake that falls in the winter up north??
I thought they already had names, Karen and Kevin.
Mitch: 'W-we're not sure what exactly is going on inside the town of Beaverton, uh Tom, but we're reporting that there's looting, raping, and yes, even acts of cannibalism.'

But is Waffle House open? That's the true measurement of a storm!
You KNOW chits getting serious when they close the Waffle House
Waffle House has big generatoes to operate when and where there is no power.
Trump is making an "announcement" on July 7th. Tropical "Storm" Elsa just happens to be making landfall on that day.
Niiice...could be big(?).
Literally had a “ STORM TRACKER LIVE FEED IN FLORIDA”
The fucking wind was at 15knots. Like WTF
Seriously. This is nothing but an extended afternoon thunderstorm. No one is even really stocking up on stuff. I’m planning on staying home and not driving during the worst parts, but that’s about it
No matter the topic, fear mongering is now the MSM's SOP.

Climate change is the new hoax agenda as reported by undercover CNN project Veritas video.
I went to 4 in Maryland and 2 in PA just to look. Less than normal patients & 2 were almost empty. Less than normal cuz only “Covid” cases were allowed. No visitations at any.
It's a small storm that will only hit the west coast of the state. It'll just be a rainy day (if that) on the east coast.
Better to use the National Hurricane Center site directly than the Weather Channel bobos: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at5+shtml/114641.shtml?cone#contents
I'm convinced they are doing it just to make sure flights can't go in and out of GITMO.
Buying time for some of their crony buddies snitching on them to avoid a firing line.
Never let a disaster go to waste; and if the disaster is less dangerous than a little thunderstorm, make it seem like the sky is falling.
It reeks of desperation.
In that case... they missed.

At least the National Weather Service tells you where the temperature was taken (often an airport)

For all the abuse we take, there are two things you can be sure of… Florida Man is tough and he ain’t scared
According to Matt Gaetz, Florida is also good at emergencies because we have one every third day. (Random news interview from early 2020, but I'd agree with that assessment).

As a Louisianian: yeah, it's absurd.
Talking about the weather channel, does anyone remember when Brian Seltzer had one of the co-founders of the weather channel on his show?
I can't remember his name but I remember him ripping little Brians arse a new one of the climate change be.
Why I do believe I fudged that. I meant mister unreliable sources Stelter lol opps
Lol, Hannity always calls him "Humpty Dumpty."
Remember Anderson Cooper standing in a ditch while reporting on Katrina? Media = attention whores https://imgur.com/a/3J3Esw3
Plus those butt heads pushed the hokie gene therapy vax on their weather shops. They r obnoxious.
Yep California has earthquake watch. I once saw video of lawn chairs falling over and panic over possible aftershocks. News is pointless.

It was actually Mike Sidell, but yeah... it was hilarious
More fear porn.
I'm on the gulf coast of Texas and I agree with you 100%
Horoscopes are more accurate
television in general is total shit though.
