My horses haven't had any problems so far, , but $27 got a 6 pack delivered at the door. Now thats enough for 7200. Lbs of horses. My ranch should be fine.
I just ordered a 3-pack for $31 that is supposed to be in stock and delivered beginning of Sept. Your deal is a lot better though, do you have a link to where you bought that?
🤞 Check u/bedminster comment
assuming everyone is buying off amazon?
I paid $5 a pack off chewy.com its also less than $6 at any grain and feed store off the shelf.
Typically $6 / horse, but the 6packs offer a discount.
Maybe you should raise cows instead. I got 500ml for $90. Each ml is good for 110 lbs. That is enough to trea 55,000 lbs of cattle.
There's a reason we're talking horses NOT COWS. No joke, do your homework.
I'm listening.
Me too.. :) I'll be buying some more horse paste tomorrow (to replace the tube we recently gave to our horses. I've read on many occasions that we shouldn't give cow medicine to horses.... but, in the spirit of doing our our research / homework.... I'll compare the two while at the farm store tomorrow. Wishing you and yours the very best. I'll report back when I know more.
From what I understand:
Some thoughts from actual horse owners before the pandemic: https://www.pedigreequery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=31332
Since the liquid is meant to be injected, each component must be purer. My biggest complaint with the paste is it has 3 proprietary components. I don't know what they are. I believe one of them is an aluminum based preservative. I try and avoid taking aluminum.
There's something to do with the carrier that makes certain ones dangerous
I haven't looked today but they are on back order until September. Thank god I got him for my horses when I did.
I got two packs from Tractor Supply for about $4 a pack.
Wuuut, mine cost about $7.58 each at tractor supply.
I think the price has been creeping up during the past couple months. I don't think I paid only $4 a tube, but I know it wasn't $8/tube. I bought it online for pickup at a store, because the store supply was gone.
Can you pm me with link on where to get?
Online at Amazon, Tractor Supply, Rural King, many others.
“My horse is 180 pounds” i died
My mom was reading this over my shoulder and was like... he doesn't have a fucking horse that's 180 lbs... I laughed so hard she got mad at me.
She's talking about getting the vax and I'm trying to convince her not too.
I pray you succeed 💕

Please feed your, uh, "horse"!
I hope he gives her a great ride for taking such good care of her horsey.
Right?! 😆
Yes, this was so great wasnt it? So helpful since we also have small horses. In fact when I was looking at this option recently I was having to calculate according to our small horses and this was my hesitation in purchasing. I feel confident to get some now.
GIMME A K GIMME A E GIMME NOTHER K
When I finally spelled it, I kek’d outloud.
and this is my favorite comment.
My horse needed some paste last week. He was down for the count. Less than 30 hours later - he was fit as a fiddle.
Your horse, who was hoarse, is now healthy as a horse.
Of course
Oh shit... lmao
I've always wondered why fiddles are fit.
Have you ever heard an unfit fiddle? Your ears bleed.
I just started going through comments on some of the ivermectin pastes on Amazon and there are several like that, including one where the heading is "you know what it's for" and another where it worked well for her 300lb horse Huemyn ;)
lol
And I just found the review in the post!
Yep same, I gave my horse(who I call Dad) some paste when my horse(who I call Dad) got ill last week.
I'm now pleased to report my horse(who I call Dad) made a full recovery in a few days.
Fuck the vaccine
I wanted to be left alone. Fuckers need to watch their backs FNO
Horses need to take this when they get signs of a certain virus. I would suggest owners get out to the TRACTOR store that has a SUPPLY of this kind of medication.
Frens better buy it now,as it may be unattainable I the future. I bought 10.
I bought 27 to cover 6 families. Just waiting for delivery.
Yes that store is well stocked in my area. I told them that I felt like I was a little horse when I bought mine. They have the obligatory ‘not safe for humans” sign up, but I’m sure that’s where most is going right now. One tube treats 1250 pounds of horse for $6.86.
Indeed, when you are in a RURAL area they are a KING, to be sure.
This ☝🏼💥
it's sad and hilarious that we've come to this
And pisses us off. Countless people have died or were put in hospitals who never needed to be.
......and wonderful that it actually exists, is cheap and works! I'm looking for a plastic St. Francis for my dashboard. God works in mysterious ways
I can see y'all got horses after losing your guns in boating accidents. Is their something therapeutic to owning a horse?
Truly yes, horses restore the soul. Especially after losing all of one's pew pews in the river, and after some nasty deployments.
I lost all my silver that way ! Boats are dangerous !!!
Be careful out there. Get yourself a horse. It'll make you feel better.
Tending your herd of horses is much safer.
This just might be my favorite post of all time, for both GAW and Voat.
I can vouch for this. I'm a horse owner so I have ivermectin on my shelf at all times. I've used it on my horses for 30 years. I was 100% comfortable with it after reading the myriad of studies, and there are even more results now. This January, my hubby & I came down with Covid, after visiting friends who tested positive right after. We had all the symptoms, loss of smell and taste, etc., and it was a whopper of a flu, unlike anything before, we were very sick. We took ivermectin for 5 days, one dose per day by weight. We felt better within a couple days and were completely fine by the end of 5 days. Thumbs up. I'll take it again for every virus that comes along, as needed. It works on EVERY VIRUS.
You used the paste? Or are there pills?
Paste is great, cheap and easy to get. You can get also get the prescription pills from a doctor willing to prescribe but of course that is much more expensive.
Have you ever used the injectable formulation? I've done sub-cue fluids on pets, and injections on horses; wonder if non-paste would be more shelf stable.
you can ingest the injectable orally, you just need a syringe of some kind to remove the dose from the vial
I was with some folks last week and one is a husband of a RN. The other guy with us was in the hospital for C19. He said they kept him there, WITH NO MEDS, for several days to "monitor" him but wouldn't give him ANYTHING because there's "no cure for COVID and nothing they could do".
I wanted to ask why the heck didn't they give him this, and probably should have.
That said, I just realized why they kept him in the hospital. TO RAISE THE DANG COVID NUMBERS! Literally just figured it out. 🤦♂️ He actually told them he was leaving since they weren't doing anything for him.
Pisses me off even more.
they were hoping to put him on a ventilator most likely.
Just read through the comments on this post, and see a couple people that think this is about an actual horse, lol.
Omg. I think people are missing your point. I have found a “vet” who will prescribe for my “horses” too. But, I know all I have to do is go to the feed store if there is no other option. Nice post!.
Daughter was just exposed by unknowing bf. I've got ivermectin for my horse...Whats the dose? Once a day for four days?
I just looked on Dr Zalenko’s protocol page;
0.2mg/kg once on Day 1 and Day 3 then once per week. Take with Zinc, Vit-C and D3. Since HCQ isn’t READILY available take Quercetin (better with Bromaline) or PQQ-both quinine derivatives. If taking the Ivermectin & supplements the quinine derivatives are just extra help.
The Ivermectin paste tubes are notched. Since one whole tube treats a 1250 lb horse I figured 1/6 tube for a 200 lb patient?
Thankful fren!
180lb horse!!
Satire or not I now feel fat
It was a mini horse.
Yeah, a “horse”
Yeah, they really are horses. Not ponies.
So happy the horse is better!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
Apple Mectin is BASED
I was thinking of getting this just in case for my horses too. Im glad they posted their horses weight since we also have horses on the smaller side.
So how much is 4 notches??? My horse too is 180 lbs.
On the tube's plunger it has notches for every 50 pounds of horse. So you want between 3 and 4 notches, I'd go with 4. It's about the amount of toothpaste you would put on a toothbrush.
Remember the horse paste helps your horse by allowing Zinc to get in to fight the illness. For best results, use Zinc in conjunction with the horse paste.
Luv me some horse paste in the morning! Just bought 12 more tubes for around $60 at Tractor Supply.
Was it 100%? Al I can find is the 1.87% mix, which I hear humans should not take
The percentage doesn’t matter, it’s the dosage of the active ingredient you need to calculate. Very few medicines are 100%.
I wonder, does anyone know if this Horse Paste has helped horses who have already been given the vaccine?
My two horses (210lb and 140lb) are experiencing mild symptoms of myocarditis (I suspect) now, just two months after the vaccine. Their conditions seem to be improving after I let them rest, but just incase something pops up in the future.
thats why I just purchased 7 tubes. I am afraid that they might start forcing the vax on horses and I heard that it helps with the spike poison. I hope to have it if needed for me....ahh me horses that is.
Where did you get it? I can only find the 1.87% ivermectin paste
yea that is the stuff I got.
I am currently treating my horse with the paste. She started feeling like she had a summer cold, and when she started running fever, I started the meds, along w Quercetin/ Bromelaid, vits C & D, zinc, and Naproxen. 3 days in, the symptoms have gotten no worse and she's staying pretty active around home. I had mine delivered through Chewy
Do you have a link, to where you ordered and what brand, please?
Chewy.com Ivercare
Tractor supply only had a ivermectin (1.87%) + praziquantel (14.03%) mix when I went today, by Equimax
Does anyone know if this is okay to take?
They didn’t have a ivermectin only paste
Me too, lemme know if you get an answer
My local tractor store was out, heard they get deliveries once weekly, but I used valleyvet who were mentioned in another post. You need the pure stuff, not mixed with anything else.
I would not take that version.
Seek it online if your local store is out. Someone probably came in and bought it all to resell or distribute to others.
NO!
You want one with Ivermectin only.
fantastic, i was thinking of giving this to my horse and keeping some on hand, it would be a smart move as well, already giving him lots of vitamins and NAC
In future when people talk about amazing things they will say
"Its no horse paste, but it can save you from such and such"
I am keeping enough on hand for all my horses, and giving my horses a preventative dose whenever they've been sharing the paddock with large crowds of horses at horse events.
I have a couple of tubes of this on hand in the event that my ponies come down with worms (which, we affectionately call CHYnacoofs). I’m so glad others are sharing their horse’s stories, so we can all be better horse owners in the future.
This is the way
Amazon is way overpriced now. Trying to cut my dependency on those commies anyway. Ordered from tractor supply shipped including tax under 40 for a 6 pack,. Cheap for just in case.
All I can find is the 1.87% ivermectin, is this the kind to order?
Yes. So long as the only active listed is Ivermectin.
Awesome, thanks!
Will any Ivermectin paste work? Any brand? Thank you.
This is brilliant. This helps have faith in humanity :) LOL!!!
I see what they did there.
Great post, clever, good way to express your horse's experience. I've been stocking a horse paste of my own, slightly diff. form, but same basic ingredients. Feeling fine but taste-tested for future reference, no prob. I don't have a horse but if ever i get one, I'm ready.
