We've heard this before, a month or two ago. One thing to remember is that the AG Dept has always paid certain farmers not to produce certain crops/products in order to keep prices up for everybody else. I'm not saying they're not doing something more nefarious now, but every story where a farmer is paid not to grow something does not necessarily mean the gov't is trying to starve the people to death. So, research with discernment and make sure you have something more than just this standard price support structure.
Yes, this a lot of stuff actually gets wasted or destroyed to keep prices higher for farmers because the could not afford to grow crops. I wish there was a better way instead of destroying food that people could eat.
Agree, that "wasted" food/crops could readily be used in poorer areas of our country where families really need the extra help with feeding their families.
Dumpsters are surprisingly expensive. Probably more liability that they don't want to risk getting sued because someone got sick eating nearly-expired food.
That is some communist bullshit right there. I'm telling you that is what they fucking want for EVERYTHING. Pretty soon you won't be able to fix your own fucking BREAKFAST.
that link is exactly the issue i was talking about, it's insane. there are people out there who are running black market computer hacking services for farmers... when john deer comes in and shuts their machinery down these white hat hackers come in and hack the tractors to get them working again.
it's insane that you pay 100k for a combine then can't even change a fucking tire on it without them shutting your machine down unless you pay a huge fine/fee to have their "professional" come and take the tire off and put it back on again.
That's exactly the same shit going on with McDonald's ice cream machines. I just read about it a couple of months ago. I don't have the article I read but I found this one that doesn't go into quite the depth as the one I read but it explains well enough what is going on. https://readon.substack.com/p/why-are-ice-cream-machines-at-mc
the crazy thing about that whole mcdonalds ice cream machine debocle is someone actually solved the issue, they figured out exactly why the machines never reach the right temps and shut down and it's because the employees are over filling them and making it impossible for the machines to run through the pasteurization cycles.
but the company who sells those machines have it in the contracts that only they can service the machines... with their service company.
at a certain point that company just decided that the way to work mcdonalds over was to sell them an entire fleet of something that they will constantly fuck up, and make all their money on the backend servicing the machines.
the same company makes the same type of machines for burger king, wendy's, chick-fil-a... none of them have these issues...
a simple update to the software actually fixes it (telling the machine to run the heating cycle longer so an overfull machine has time to reach the right temp)... so does telling employees to load the machine right... neither side will commit to doing either.
also fuck the mcdonalds who clean the machines after dinner rush and then are too lazy to "dirty them up again" at night.
Here too. But this year... my garden struggled ... hasn't produced as much as other years.... no peas, I'll be lucky if I get enough beets and carrots for a meal, forget about having enough to can.
My tomato plants are producing some but look like crap. It was dry, so I'd water because no rain was forecasted ... then torrential rain would happen. I didn't do anything right this year. All other years gardening was almost effortless... this year I completely suck at it.
A lot of people have had limited production this year in their home gardens. The ones that did well were the ones that had flowers around their plants to pied piper the pollinators. I did not, but my neighbor did. His tomatoes and cucumbers were heavy producers.
Yeah, I always thought with food stamps that people should have to do so many hours of community service to get them. So the ones that really needed it would do it
This is the 3rd time in two months this is through, both other times no evidence, and no supporting info. In fact the opposit was being reported with LOTS of anecdotal stories.
Not at all, more to the point this is a repeat topic that has been discussed a lot, with more information in older posts.
New people benefit from old or repeat content true, I've missed stuff myself.
However, this topic, while dubious at best, has had repeat, fairly thourough discussion on many other threads to the point this could be considered slider fodder. Do a quick search on farmer or crop and you can have all the discussion coverage you could want.
Agreed and if you guys don’t think this is a real possibility you are crazy. It’s not like Bill Gates and the clan haven’t been pushing fake vegan meat and eating bugs as part of our future. Also buying up fuck loads of farmland for themselves. Pretty obvious to me.
In the upper NY area in the late 60s there was a story about a farmer that bought a Cadillac with his subsidies to keep the land fallow-most of his land..
Jokes on these faggots, I was poor as shit from 2008 to 16 when Trump boomed the economy landing me firmly in upper middle class.
I have the habits and experience of poverty, with the money to get everything I need.
Pantry always has enough calories to last me 6 months. I always buy a few non perishables and things on sale to add.
I've been too poor to buy TP before, so I ALWAYS have a full stock.
I don't waste money. I may make 110,000 but if you looked at me you'd think I was poor. All my money goes towards working for me.
Large seed bank with equipment to grow stuff inside too
I bought a cheap house at a great time and great interest rate, I could potentially quit working and live here indefinitely
I'm always working towards the last step, owning land isolated from people to live off grid. With all the above, this is coming together nicely. If my house value goes in my favor, I could sell to finish off my plan.
The propaganda and programming have killed most folks ability to use simple logic rather than their feelings. I feel bad for these people, I'm prepared and they are clueless as to how well off they truly are.... and they're not preparing because they're clueless.
This story is meant to unnecessarily alarm people. There are times where farmers have weather related problems that result in filing for crop insurance or disaster assistance. If they do then they are obligated to destroy the already damaged crop so they cannot double dip. No farmer is destroying quality crops or animals, current market prices are too high.
Farmers I know would never do that, they'd not harvest crops because there was no market for it,
But foul the ground? Nope.
Farmers are not stupid ... trying to portray them as idiots fouling their fields with poison because "Whelp, this is what we're told to do .. derp" is absolute bullshit.
Edit,,, yes I believe there will be food shortages and we need to prepare. I'm just pissed at the way they portray farmers as stupid.
They have been trying to force farmers to be dependent on subsidies for decades ... I hope there are enough old school farmers left to take back the industry when this is all over.
Right... I can't believe they'd do it ... but I was surprised & heartbroken to learn of doctors killing patients they swore an an oath to do no harm. So...
Why are you taking the money. I'll buy bulk raw foods. Ther is an entire business there. You guys are it to us not the feds. We won't blame them for trying to kill us but you guys? Wtf. Salt of the earth? Cmon man..
Likely true. Add this info to the following known situations and it all makes sense
(1). Look into Lake Meade in California. Over the past 2 years this giant reservoir has been drained down to a mud puddle under the guise of ‘saving a threatened SMELT population’. Irrigation to 1/3 of America’s fruit/vegetable crops about to be in a manufactured drought.
(2). Were you paying attention during Covid 2020? Walmart’s, Home Depot’s, child care centers etc there were no Covid outbreaks anywhere except small businesses AND ALL the meat packaging plants including Tyson and Smithfield (CCP owned) and there were frequent shutdowns. Got so bad farmers were being offered full price for cattle from USDA to euthanize their herds as there were no slaughter houses and processing plants open to take them.
What you are seeing is just a continued effort towards a manufactured food crisis/inflation.
If the government was manufacturing a food shortage, then we'd have a hell of a lot more evidence and anecdotes of it then the same videos that get posted here every single day.
If those farmers don’t destroy and can store their crop somewhere, it’ll be worth way more what the government is offering in 6 months time. HOLD THE LINE!
Just think about how much food goes to complete waste, EVERY DAY. THEN think about how we pay farmers to not produce food so the prices don't crater out. We have EXTREME food production capacity. There is ZERO excuse for a shortage or for food to be prohibitively expensive. But here we are.
Technically, subsidies are this in a different manner.
If someone is paid a certain amount from the government for the crops they produce. They are essentially making the same amount of money for producing less crops.
As a teenager in the late 60's, I worked on my uncle's farm in North Dakota. It was common practice for farmers not to plant certain crops on certain number of acres and get paid for it. I spent hours on a tractor tilling the soil to keep the soil black and weed free.

Maybe not make the equipment cost and arm and a leg?
you want to get real pissed look into the "right to repair" lawsuits going on with those big tractor and machinery manufacturers.
if you work on your own tractor they can disable it and refuse to give you codes to get it running again.
...for your safety.
NO FUCKING WAY!
That is some communist bullshit right there. I'm telling you that is what they fucking want for EVERYTHING. Pretty soon you won't be able to fix your own fucking BREAKFAST.
Man ... just when I get myself calmed down, I read about shit like this.
that link is exactly the issue i was talking about, it's insane. there are people out there who are running black market computer hacking services for farmers... when john deer comes in and shuts their machinery down these white hat hackers come in and hack the tractors to get them working again.

Yeah, I read https://archive.ph/VS5mk and this video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SrDEtSlqJC4
solution: change back to non-computer running tractor (or, modify computer out of tractor if you start working on it on your own)
Farmers Are Hacking Their Tractors Because of a Repair Ban https://youtu.be/EPYy_g8NzmI
Then how do you strap the producers in this world by the giggidy bits?
Less cities, more urban and rural living.
A little bit of work and space is all you need to produce a good bit of your own food.
Growing up the whole family grew stuff and canned, so the majority of our food was grown and canned by my mom, dad, grandma, and aunts.
Here too. But this year... my garden struggled ... hasn't produced as much as other years.... no peas, I'll be lucky if I get enough beets and carrots for a meal, forget about having enough to can.

I'll try that next year... :). I'm feel it's a pretty huge failure to not be successful at peas, and zucchini 😂
This /\
Be sure to bring the bees.
sorry fren. I got the opposite problem . So much rain I think they got root rot
Me too. So much rain they're rotting, then hot like Hell's attic
Yeah that's awesome, that what my wife and I do! But 50% doesnt want to do that and just write blogs lol
A better way would be get rid of food stamps, have the government (or legit charities) buy the excess and feed anyone hungry…
Yeah, I always thought with food stamps that people should have to do so many hours of community service to get them. So the ones that really needed it would do it
Thanks for the info. That is one of the reasons why I posted it here - to find out more.
This^^^
This is above and beyond subsidies to farmers. And yes, do your research!
Did you watch the video, though?
HR 3030 is about health insurance & S 3030 is about eviction So what's this bill 3030 she's talking about?
This is bullshit. Dad owns a farm. So theres that.
This is the 3rd time in two months this is through, both other times no evidence, and no supporting info. In fact the opposit was being reported with LOTS of anecdotal stories.
THIS SHOULD NOT BE STICKIED
Have seen multiple videos of farmers explaining exactly what OP's saying.. Can search this board to see them.
I don't think people should view stickies as some sort of assertion of fact.
My take on the "stickies" is that it's something worthy of atten or at least reading. Nothing more.
Not at all, more to the point this is a repeat topic that has been discussed a lot, with more information in older posts.

Tim pool had an anecdote where he talked to a farmer who was told not to sell, this was a few months ago
people often mistake the policy of paying farmers to let feilds sit for a year to regenerate with "paying farmers to destroy crops"...
but if they actually are paying them to destroy perfectly good crops then we should know about it.

Exactly. It really doesn't take much - just look at the TP roller coaster we went through.
The smart thing is to stay ahead of the curve.
This story is meant to unnecessarily alarm people. There are times where farmers have weather related problems that result in filing for crop insurance or disaster assistance. Post the ones you’ve found then
I work in the ag industry. If this were true I would hear it, every single day, it would be a giant fiasco. It's bull shit.
I am a farmer. 6000 acres. No such offer. This Glows.
This was last brought up 2 days ago.

Farmers pouring oil in their ground?
Farmers I know would never do that, they'd not harvest crops because there was no market for it,

I've seen some bad things over the years, but never destroying good land that could be used for other purposes (cover crops, alfalfa, cattle, etc).
Right... I can't believe they'd do it ... but I was surprised & heartbroken to learn of doctors killing patients they swore an an oath to do no harm. So...
Farmers have been paid to destroy crops frequently. This is nothing new.
Why are you taking the money. I'll buy bulk raw foods. Ther is an entire business there. You guys are it to us not the feds. We won't blame them for trying to kill us but you guys? Wtf. Salt of the earth? Cmon man..
None of them showed any proof of documentation, and honestly, they all sounded rehearsed. Not buying into this right now.
This has been a thing for decades. Ever since subsidies began to dictate output.
Likely true. Add this info to the following known situations and it all makes sense

I’ve seen a few videos in this and believe it to be true... also some video of farmers mowing down crops....whether or not it’s related I could t say
WHAT'S THE DATE ON THE VIDEO.
Good question - I looked for a date. I don't think that particular post has been up for very long - wasn't hardly any views when I first watched it.
Because i could have sworn i've seen a lot of those clips YEARS ago.
This isn't new, farmers have to destroy their crops routinely. Especially corn. Because overproduction.
It's nothing new and nothing to be alarmed about.
It's all part of the DS plan so if you haven't done so - stock up.
Don't destroy crops & don't take tax payer money to do so ..!! Problem solved 🇺🇸
If the government was manufacturing a food shortage, then we'd have a hell of a lot more evidence and anecdotes of it then the same videos that get posted here every single day.
Would be nice if this was illegal or something...
If those farmers don’t destroy and can store their crop somewhere, it’ll be worth way more what the government is offering in 6 months time. HOLD THE LINE!
This is one sure way to upset the apple cart in advance of election time. Im skeptical.
I heard this happened during the first lockdown.
Just think about how much food goes to complete waste, EVERY DAY. THEN think about how we pay farmers to not produce food so the prices don't crater out. We have EXTREME food production capacity. There is ZERO excuse for a shortage or for food to be prohibitively expensive. But here we are.
it's not just price control, it's also to help prevent fields from getting stripped of nutrients.
They've been paying farmers to do that for decades. I personally knew someone that was paid to not plant crops 20 years ago
Technically, subsidies are this in a different manner.
If someone is paid a certain amount from the government for the crops they produce. They are essentially making the same amount of money for producing less crops.
A little birdie says the destroyed crops are gmo seeded. The seed farm was a great idea afterall. 😉
As a teenager in the late 60's, I worked on my uncle's farm in North Dakota. It was common practice for farmers not to plant certain crops on certain number of acres and get paid for it. I spent hours on a tractor tilling the soil to keep the soil black and weed free.
Looks like Bill Gates and Soros lurk here.
More doomsday scenario fear mongering.
Dept. of Hydro Carbons..?
How many times is this story going to get posted?
