So how exactly was it a "secret" meeting if multiple officers were present and involved? I guess who was it a secret from?
I may just be cynical; but I don't think anything will happen from this, there's too much plausible deniability. Like are generals required to tell the truth when interacting with foreign governments? Did he just phrase it this way to provide reassurance that the US would not be attacking? Could you argue that if there was an actual potential the US would attack that making a statement like this could even give a tactical advantage?
Don't get me wrong, this guy is a dirty treasonous woke-tard, but if he actually was "caught" in this, it will easily get explained away. But I'll still hope that I'm wrong.
