I was like this guy. Didn’t give a shit about politics. Grew up in a liberal family. Thought Dems were for equality and human rights, and Republicans were for war and big business. I voted for Dems. I voted wrote in for Bernie in 2016. I started turning when Hillary stole it from Berndawg. Then turned toward Trump with the Russia Collusion hoax and when Paul Ryan and Bitch McConnell wouldn’t back Trump on anything. Then I realized it was all a uniparty establishment against an outsider that was for the people. Trump was helping everyone, building the wall, black unemployment record lows, saying no more getting ripped off to the world. Trump re taught me what America was about. Then I went deep down the rabbit hole and have literally unlearned everything I was ever taught my whole life by communists in the last 4years. It has been a great ride. MAGA

I also knew something was wrong with the media when I saw the horror videos leaking out of Wuhan in early February, but every MSM personality ignoring it. I made thousands of $$ as a result of predicting the economic crash.

One of the biggest wrong turns was the idea that congress can do anything in the name of "interstate commerce".
At this point, I don't think there should be federal income tax, for example. If states want to tax they can vote on that at a much lower local level. Most major decisions should only go as high in government as needed. The Federal government would just be there to help rectify disputes, keep the nation from complete dissolution, and coordinate protection against foreign adversaries.
For about 90% of all political questions, my answer these days is just "let the states decide for themselves". The only exceptions would be in violation of the constitution, so stuff like abortion (murder), gun bans ("shall not be infringed"), slavery, and other similar major issues.

The founders' biggest concern of all was a too powerful centralized government. After nearly 10 years of trying to make the Articles of Confederation work, which basically created 13 independent countries (States), the founders realized they needed to bring them all together as one unified nation. The main reasons were national defense, unified currency (each state was making their own), international trade deals, and interstate commerce.
The compromise the Founders came up with was to say the ONLY powers that the federal government shall have are those explicitly written into the constitution. All other powers, laws, etc are to be retained by the individual states. Each state developed their own constitution and all powers not outlined specifically in the US Constitution as a Federal power were to be decided by the states.
The Bill of Rights are rights for all citizens and cannot be taken away by either the federal government or state governments. They are permanent rights for all citizens. This is exactly why the red flag laws are unconstitutional. Neither the federal government nor state governments can disarm the people. We have the right to bear arms. It doesn't say guns, pistols, cannons, or swords. It says bear arms. Everyone has the right to own whatever weapon they want. The reason for the second amendment is to ensure the Founding Father's greatest fear, a too powerful centralized government, never occurs.
You are absolutely correct that the supreme court has made rulings giving congress and the executive branch too much power for the federal government to overreach by using the interstate commerce clause to enforce federal mandates and laws.
There is NOTHING in the US Constitution that gives the federal government the power to regulate individual health choices. Everything the federal government has done to "combat" covid is unconstitutional. States can likely handle health issues based on their own state constitutions, but as far as the federal government goes, they should have nothing to do with it.
The Constitution lists all the powers that the federal government has. Anything else it does violates the Constitution.

This gives bonus incentive for state governments to monitor how much they spend on the federal government, as well, as spending too much would be money lost to them. Of course the incentives extended aren't perfect, but at the least it turns the accountability onto a lower level and more spread out. Instead of just needing to bribe 100 Senators and 435 House reps to control the nation, they'd need to bribe the state senates/house of each state. Sort of like 50x the number of officials, although of course the actual math is a lot more complicated.
But yeah largely cutting federal size astronomically. Some programs might remain out of general utility and being relatively benign but most of the authority really can be transferred to the states. That becomes a proper situation of taxation WITH representation instead of ~600 people deciding how many shits a day an entire country of over 200 million can take.
To me it looks like a complete abolishment of most federal agencies and the government simply maintains federal highways to help ensure interstate commerce and keeps a basic military that is meant only for defense. Almost everything will default to the states like education taxes and healthcare.

It was actually extraordinary how clever the media was about it. Demonic, even.
Tell one smallish lie that causes a bit of repugnance for the target. Get a small emotional response. Now the person is prepped for the next little lie, then a bit bigger, a bit more repulsive. Always aimed at emotion. Keep ratcheting up the emotional responses. And so on day after day....stretching on for years. By the end of it the media completely controlled the mind by invoking nonstop negative emotions until the recipient almost NEEDED to get an anger/outrage fix. And here we are. Media mind control victims are not in charge of or in control of their own brains.
Problem is, once you train someone to HATE, it's hard to switch that off or even to AIM it. So they do tend to attack eachother.

I've never had any respect for anyone who hangs out in the middle just for middle's sake, just to virtue signal that they're not one or the other but "open-minded". Just the opposite. In Africa several es Muslims have said the got a visit from Jesus Christ himself. He knocked on their door they say. Who am I to say otherwise.

His story is similar to mine. Although I was never a "liberal" but rather a crazy lover of Jesus, I hated Trump more than anything (probably not an exaggeration) before 2020, and then one day, I asked the Lord's what's up with the COVID situation and a few months later with all the events (around May 2020), I woke up. I went from hating Trump to loving this man and what he represents and the price he is paying for us (in a way, it does parallel what Jesus did on the cross). The more time goes on, the bigger the lie you realized you've been under... it's much bigger than I even imagined (and I think I have quite an imagination) and it appears to only get bigger over time. Now I wonder if we have enough time in our lives to uncover all the lies and realize the truth. I didn't expect my question to the Lord would lead to what I see thus far but I am grateful. And while on the topic of gratefulness, I am grateful to all you GAW folks putting in the work to expose and shine (although like anything else, we still need to be discerning what we read even on here :) )

Lol, I didn’t want to make my response too long but it was realizing that the media was dishonest and re-evaluating everything they said about orange man being bad. When you watch Trump speak in context, it is nothing like what that CNN (among others) says it is and that their lies are intentional deceit. The Q movement eventually played a role as well. But honestly, just not believing the MSM blindly and researching - if you hear the orange man speak, even though sometimes crude, he is genuine and speaks truth that is not easy for the sheep to accept after being brainwashed all our lives.
I never hated Trump or believed the "Orange Man Bad" crap, I was just ambivalent towards him until I heard one of his speeches live and realized just how bad the media lies actually are.
CNN, MSNBC, CSPAN, PBS News hour, etc. Fox News looked like fake news to me at the time because they were generally so out of sync with all other major news. I think like many people, we are programmed to give credibility to news sources that have a certain look and feel, ie: their anchors speak with a certain cadence, confidence, etc.

I figured Trump was running to show off / infiltrate the GOP to end it once and for all since I had remembered he was a Democrat at one point. I then remembered that I voted for Clinton in 1992 (my first vote ever ... after 3 months of his Presidency, I vowed to never vote for a D again ... and haven't). Once I saw him eviscerate Jeb (I despised that melon-headed, fake liar), I knew that we had a winner and began to have faith in him. The rest is history.
After thinking about it more, he did infiltrate the GOP and ended it ... ended it as we knew it at least :-). They're all pretty much exposed now ... that's much better than where we were in early 2016. We still have several miles/kilometers to go on this road to USA redemption, but we are getting there :-).
