I asked my dad who just retired from 40 years at NASA the question about the Van Allen issue with radiation. I will butcher it slightly because it is a complex explanation but here goes:
Due to solar winds and other forces there are areas of the Van Allen that are far more narrow than other areas and the missions that actually go to deep space pass through the thinner areas to minimize exposure. Most missions do not go to outer space so they usually do not deal with the Van Allen, but when they do go to outer space they have to hit escape velocity of about 25000 MPH (about 7 miles per second) and at that speed they pass through it quickly so there is no lasting damage. Less than 1% of all missions actually go into outer space so yes most people you see claiming they went to space are not actually going into deep space so it is easy to make that argument with semantics. Satellites are not in deep space either. Some flat earther talking points are on the right track just not fully understanding key pieces of info.
Additionally, I have had tons of conversations about space stuff in my life and different projects he worked on and I can say definitively it would be easier for the earth to be flat than it would be to make up the entirety of the space program, space project, and all of the nuance.
My final point...The media gave so much coverage of flat earth that I actually do think it was CIA or disinfo op. I do not believe there are as many disinfo ops as people think but the media barely touches other conspiracies and seemed to skyrocket flat earth to the top of the list overnight while still never acknowledging other large conspiracies.

Or actually, go find an old galvanometer (pre transistor era). The sensitivity on these things is so good it picks up the Earth spin. You have to hang them like a pendulum and let them become still to filter out most (but not all) of Earths movements. These were designed to measure precise very low frequencies and Earths spin always needed to be filtered out. Now a days the spin is filtered out in software on a IC chip. I like the old methods better sometimes :)

I've helped build a space ship and sat in mission control while it orbited in space, and watched video of it and the Earth streaming from it through radio equipment that I helped build. If it was fake, they fooled me.
The moon always faces the Earth because of "tidal locking". Because of the Earth's gravity pulling on the moon, earlier in history when the moon did spin more often than it orbited the Earth, the moon experienced tidal forces. Those forces caused the moon to constantly change shape elliptically, and dissipated massive amounts of heat. Heat is energy, and that energy came from the moon's rotation. Eventually the moon ran out of rotational energy and became in synch with its orbit. The Earth is gradually slowing down over time as well, which is why a leap second gets added every few years to UTC. There are actually a bunch of moons orbiting other planets that are tidally locked to their planets as well. It's more common than not I believe.
Without getting into the universe expanding, 66,000 MPH isn't very fast at a cosmic scale. Going 66,000 MPH for 10,000 years would get you about 1 light year. The closest star from our sun is about 4 light years away. Our galaxy is about 100,000 light years wide. Stone tablets and cave drawings wouldn't have the necessary precision to notice the subtle changes in constellations over the years.

As a result, the Moon always presents one side to the Earth, even though that side is pointing across the whole universe over the 29+ days. Tidal locking is not unique. There are other examples.
Star movements are minuscule at their distances. Light has a speed of 186,000 miles/second and the nearest star is over 4 light-years distant. 66 thousand mph is practically motionless in that context.

The moon is tidally locked to the earth. At Full moon we can see 50% of the moons surface. But due to lunar libration, over time we can see 59% of the lunar surface. Anyone with a telescope can see certain features come into view and then disappear over the horizon.
This is conclusive proof that the moon is a sphere and if the moon is a sphere why would the earth be flat? There is no argument that can refute this.
