I’m just saying when I watch him speak, I don’t get the cozy feeling about him as I do Trump. DeSantis is a politician plain and simple. Trump never held a political office. He doesn’t owe anyone anything, however, just look at all the RINOS all on board for DeSantis. That tells me everything I need to know. I fell for Nikki Haley’s crap here in SC, only to realize she was a RINO as well. Most people here have no use for her and her tactics. So I am weary when they hold an office and appear to good to be true. That’s what I’m saying. Maybe later he could run for President, but it’s not his time, not yet. We need Trump to finish what he started.

I am partial toward the Navy only because I went into the nuclear propulsion field. My son is a Senior Chief Fire Control Technician, and he was recently awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal. I had two older Brothers serve in the Navy, one in the Army, and one in the National Guard. Different strokes for different folks, but nonetheless, we made a pretty good group. The two oldest have moved on, and the three younger ones [I am the youngest] are getting up there in age...but I'll tell you what - in a heartbeat, we would do it all over again.

Can someone PLEASE explain here what the fear of DeSantis is all about? I've only heard "he signed a bill that would force vaccinations on people", or "he signed a bill to require background checks on gun purchases". When I looked into the forced vaccination, it states that people can opt out. They may be quarantined, but would you want someone who has ebola out and about? And when it comes to background checks for gun purchases, would you want to allow some guy who is wild-eyed, saying aliens are after him, obviously mentally ill, able to buy a gun on the spot, no questions asked? We talk about how it is WHAT a politician does that matters, not what their personality is. Hasn't DeSantis shown that he has the capability to do what matters?

The thing about DeSantis is his background isn't questionable the way Trump's was. If he is DS, it would be the most insidious thing the DS has ever done, and would have required planning it many, many, many years ago, which doesn't seem to make sense when considering Trump came out of nowhere to do what he did; how could DS had anticipated that happening years before it happened?

The 2nd Amendment should not be infringed upon. The Constitution says nothing about background checks. This is the same tactics they use in socialist countries to be able to track people and prevent them from owning or retaining their guns. Who has the ability to say if someone is “mentally unstable;” they could easily target anyone they do not want to own a gun to be found “mentally unstable.”
With that same line of thinking, in regards to being able to opt out of forced vaccinations, they could quarantine a person indefinitely, as has been done to people in Australia and China, during the “pandemic.” We know and always knew that this virus was never a true pandemic, and therefore all mandatory lockdowns were illegal around the whole world. Remember and never forget that the government lied to us about the numbers, told us to trust the science, forced us to get vaccines (that are deadly) to maintain our jobs and livelihood, and lied to us repeatedly.

So this may sound weird, but my old grandfather of 80 who has been a die hard republican his whole life and was a hard core republican jumped ships from Trump a couple months ago. I am not 100 on why he decided the Ron was the man and not Trump. We were at a family function talking about something with T4ump and he got down right almost aggressive the he would vote DeSantis over Trump. He is a fox news guy through and through. Even after the 2020 steal he admitted that Trump had it stolen and fox was not trusted. The sad thing is he never left fox or the newspapers. I concluded that he feel into the propaganda again and believes it like its religion. I tried to send him alternatives and step him into the idea that Trump is not finished by a long shot. Sadly many conservatives are normies in the propaganda. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal to many, but we saw eye to eye on most till this. The tell a vision or tell lie vision is really screwing good peoples minds.

I believe the attitude comes out of frustration that we have been doing all the right things to move the country back (on personal levels) and are not yet seeing the results WE'D like. I got exhausted, hypervigilant, the whole nine yards. I took a break, took a drive through some little towns, saw America going about her day, found a NYC pizza place in the middle of nowhere, and the crust and oil were ALMOST like the real thing. I slept 9 hours. Today the only thing I am not calm about is the fact the co op has not called back with the 5lbs of garlic I ordered for planting. It's been unusually mild in the northeast, so I have bided my time in getting it planted. But the mildness won't last , and as the old timers say, "we will pay for it".
Americana. Nothing better. The little towns and hamlets are wonderful. I like just getting out into God's creation and enjoying nature. Definitely settles me down. I hope you get that garlic call, fren!

Keks. For the first time in months, I took a sabbatical from GAW for about 3 days.
I shut off most of my telegram, news sources, and stayed away from it all. I knew my guts were going to be wrenched this way and that way with the news coming in and out. So, figuratively, I went out to frolic.
Damn glad I did. And, because there is STILL a lot of dust to settle, I'll probably add a few more days onto my GAW vacay.
When the lay of the land is clearer, I'll probably re-engage.
One thing I AM doing is listening to Majic Eyes only recent Series 7 vids (3 of them).
Who knows what's gonna happen when, but in the meantime, it doesn't hurt to dive into that heady mix of Law of War and Q postology.

I keto'd when November 3 was in the cards. For about 6 months. It was good - weight management good, mental clarity improved. Carbs really make your system (mind/body) sort of bloated. Am winding up to start again. Easier in summer.
Idea: Thinly cut steak strips, bean sprouts, kimchi & onion stirfry. Do the steak strips first (hot), set aside, do the onions, then add the bean sprouts, set aside. Fry the kimchi. Frying kimchi with enough oil (higher smoking level oil - I'd use rice bran oil) will make it all go sweet. Sweet and spicy - quite different to fresh kimchi. K folks will usually begin to fry their kimchi once it gets older and more sour.
Kimchi steak stir fry. Eat as is for keto-friendly. Eat with rice if not ketoing! (short grain is mandatory, btw).
