Having worked in a State adult psychiatric hospital back in the 1980's I ran into two sisters who were both schizophrenic from being used by their own father (a top level lawyer in the state) to entertain his male friends. The info was recorded in their charts believe it or not and noone ever went after their dad for the information recorded.
Both women ended up in the psychiatric hospital due to their childhood experience. They also had a brother who either was not abused or who survived it and also became another top level lawyer in the state.
This abuse has been going on for years for many children. The fact that it occurs in some families is sickening.
It sure has, I worked in group homes through the 90's, there were at least 3 young adults who would tell staff, especially at night when they could not sleep, about what happened to them, and that their fathers had good jobs, went to church, and that they were considered making things up for attention. They were cutters, suicide attempts, etc., but high functioning and not diagnosed with a major mental disorder, just behavioral problems with self destructive tendencies. My sister was an art therapist in the Boston State psychiatirc facilities in the 80's and 70's, she said that ritual abuse was a real thing, and to top it off, a friend knew a woman who claimed that the satanic angle was a red herring, that it was higher up than a bunch of covens, it was basically what top executives in the oil industry and other major corporations do, sexual abuse and trafficking.She too was diagnosed as having borderline personality disorder. (which comes from traumatic abuse).
Did you watch the Casey Anthony doc on Peacock? She claims her father abused her as a child. As much as she lied, it was hard to believe her, but at the same time it’s entirely plausible as I know these sickos exist.
I did not watch that, but sometimes the stories you hear are hard to believe, but Ive lived in a few places before Vermont, and worked as staff in several mental health facilities, and the stories are similar, from State to State, this was before internet was so prevalent, so it is not like these young adults had a base of info sharing to work from. It would happen at night, they were drugged, there were other adults present, there were abortions that were provided in case of pregnancy, and, these people were just never right afterward. None of them were what you would call schizophrenic or bi polar or nuero diverse, they were all attractive and had people pleasing behavior, but clearly had ptsd of serious kinds where they would go into disassociation in clinical settings. They seemed mature and childish at the same time, across the board. When these cases started becoming apparent to a lot of workers, and counselors, in the mainstream, suddenly there were "clinical papers and research" into "false memory". Yeah, sure. So, the bottom line is, there is a cabal, it is not always the freaks and blatant amoral players who just are kinky or promiscuous. The perps, across the board, looked like white bread suits, socially conservative , upper middle class .I guess the poorer children had nothing for support, and just go straight into trafficking, prostitution, and porn, till they are used up. Since the 70's those people we call transgender now, the male to female, most of them ended up on the streets as hookers, or were incarcerated or in the foster system while young, abused as boys, and ended up wanting to id as female, maybe because it felt safer to them, i dont know. Men are less likely to admit it, because in prison, they had to survive the alpha males, and that was a way to do it.
I saw the doc, too & thought, as sick as this sounds, that he started abusing her daughter & Casey felt the only way to prevent him abusing her more was to kill her. I know it sounds irrational but who knows how deep her sexual abuse went & how disconnected from reality she was?
