Mel Gibson is one of the few in Hollywood whom I believe to be "genuine". You can infiltrate the system and do lots of good. Look at what Trump did in his first term. He infiltrated and made mistakes but also got a lot right. Just because he joined DC and became "one of them" doesn't mean he didn't do it for the right reasons. Mel still being in Hollywood is not representative of the director / actor he is and continues to be. Look at how he managed to survive the full-force of the Jewish Mafia coming after him, post-Passion of the Christ. And he has no intent on slowing down any time soon.

I often wondered if his Russian wife was a set up, that he fell for. She was used to take him down. He had enough money to make his own movies, and he was dangerous because he was getting the truth out via movies. Mel Gibson was blacklisted for a long time from Hollywood for what? For drunkenly calling out the "Jews" in public that controlled Hollywood/the World at the time. I can't find the video of it at the moment but he calls them out for starting wars, etc. He absolutely is sending some sort of Patriotic/Awakening message with a lot of his movies.

The 2nd half of Apocaylto is the greatest chase scene ever. I repeat, THE GREATEST CHASE SCENE EVER! No cars or explosions, just 10 guys chasing one guy through a jungle. There were two great pauses during the chase. One where the hero calls is pursuers out after jumping off the waterfall. The other where the hero stops and reminds himself who he is and then goes on the offensive. If you haven’t seen this you should. Mel definitely inserted some comms in this sequence.

I remember the first time I watched Apocalypto. I had recently bought my first 1080p television. It was a $2000 Sony Bravia set. I had to have HD so bad at the time (lol) I financed it. ANYWAY, not really relevant, BUT only because the medium was on Blu Ray and Apocalypto's visual presentation BLEW me away. The film overall was and still is an amazing spectacle on all aspects.

Another good one is, "Bird on A Wire". Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn Plot Marianne "Muffie" Graves, a former hippie, is a successful lawyer completing a business deal in Detroit, Michigan. At a gas station, she crosses paths with a man that looks and sounds exactly like her hippie ex-fiancé Rick Jarmin, who disappeared in a plane crash 15 years previously and is presumed dead.
The man pretends to be a Vietnam War veteran and Marianne apologizes, says that Rick would never have served in that war, and then leaves. The terrified man then makes a call saying that he has been recognized and needs to be moved.
15 years earlier, Rick testified against murderous drug-smuggling DEA agent Eugene Sorenson and has been in the witness protection program ever since. Unfortunately, his old handler has retired and the new one, FBI agent Joe Weyburn, is being blackmailed into colluding with Sorenson. Promising to have Rick moved immediately, Weyburn leaks the gas station's address to Sorenson.
