Fox stock is down 3% with the news of Carlson's departure, on the other hand CNN stock is up 5% on news of Lemons termination.
Puts on FOX
FOX will get Propped Up by Blackrock and Vanguard so the losses aren't as Noticeable, because together, they own a whopping 9.8% of FOX, largest share holders, considering they're joined at the hip....
You bring up a very interesting subject. How many businesses are being propped up by Blackrock, Vanguard and/or Berkshire?
They just shake the jar of ants for optics
It's rumored that between Blackrock and Vanguard, being pretty much one Corp, they control some 80% of all businesses, or some such thing....
THIS.
Snoop Bailey's tweet makes the most sense to me. I bet Tucker has been getting massive pushback on the stories he runs from executives. I saw someone speculate the Epps piece on 60 minutes was PR before he sued Fox News over Tuckers J6 tapes reporting focusing on him. They couldn't let Tucker run his piece destroying Epps.
Didn't little chucky schumer have a shit fit over Tuckers coverage of the J6 info, and said Murdoch needed to do something about it?
If Tucker joins alt tech it's game over for the Mockingbird media. Check mate?
On the “conservative” side sure. No shitlib I know would listen to Tucker regardless. So as far as waking more people up goes I don’t think it does much.
Exactly. It just further polarizes the country by accentuating the divide between the two data streams the public gets about what constitutes reality. The MSM's control over media is so all-encompassing they can literally create a false reality. People simply only hear the lies and never see or hear the evidence of the truth. You have to dig deep and invest a lot of time and effort to get to the truth, and it's increasingly hard to find. Every time something happens, Big Tech scrubs it from the internet, buries it in the search results, etc. The data from gov't gets changed at the source and the lie becomes the new "source of truth."
George Orwell's book was supposed to be a warning. These assholes used it like a guidebook.
It's still a massive powerhouse. People who don't know somehow will wonder where their regular news guy is, figure out Fox fired him and figure out where to watch him.
This also makes Tucker more trustworthy as it means he was under pressure to do a lot of stuff and he was resisting it or refusing it.
I'd watch Tucker again now, if he returns to media.
Popcorn anyone?
This hit a delta today 🤷👉👉1257 24-Apr-2018 11:42:14 AM EDT 8ch/qresearch
This. And I have been a complete Tucker nay sayer. But not a definitive this. 76 hours and it's only been 12.
Yeah all this & right after Flynn tweeted: "this is not a test"
Well Fox just had a settlement with Dominion, I reckon this may have been one of the demands
Nah, Dominion got their settlement. Fox keeping Tucker on air would have kept their money supply going. I think this is a move for Tucker to join a place where he can speak without being controlled.
My first thought was about the truth telling about the election.
I've posted probably 4-5x here and on TDW/PW about the Dominion case and why Faux settled. They settled in order to maintain the cover story that Biden's election was legit. Faux had everything it needed to blow that case out of the water. It was a case they were likely to win on the merits, and then they suddenly settled. Why? Because in order to win, they would have had to prove Dominion rigged the election and the election was a fraud. Biden wasn't the legitimate winner. Trump was. Murdoch was never going to allow that to happen, so he dropped 3/4 of a billion dollars and accepted Dominion's assertion that Faux is nothing but a pack of liars to protect the election fraud story and to screw Trump.
We saw the reaction when McCarthy said he handed the J6 footage to Tucker. Tucker's first day was a bombshell. He blew the lid off of Jacob Chansley's situation (the "shaman" guy) and showed the narrative on him, Officer Brian Sicknick, and Ray Epps was a lie. Congress literally had the exculpatory evidence and lied anyway. The very next day, the whole story was squelched at Faux. Murdoch personally intervened.
So, here we go today. I totally believe this is about Murdoch doing literally whatever it takes to protect the Big Lie. They stole the 2020 election and literally everyone in the media knowingly helped them do it. They don't care how much it costs. They already sold their souls.
good summary
Actually Fox was going into trial with a very bad hand.
a comment I left elsewhere Discovery already occurred. Depositions already occurred. Lots of bad stuff for Fox already came out. Emails/Texts from Tucker got released as part of the court documents. Murdoch himself sat for a deposition.
The trial would not have been about "Did Fox defame Dominion" because the judge issued a summary judgement on that. That means the facts were already proven and a jury would not need to establish the defamation. There was only going to be one issue at trial.

In the court documents. Dominion argued that Fox made
(1) false statements; (2) of and concerning Dominion; (3) that were published; (4) that were defamatory per se; and (5) did so with actual malice.
The judge said the facts of 1, 2, 3 and 4 were true. The only issue before a jury would #5. To prove "actual malice" Dominion would have to prove Fox "either knew that the statement was false at the time, or else demonstrated “reckless disregard” as to if it was false."
From what information did the judge "say" 1.2.3 & 4 were true? If he was basing it on hearsay from other media companies he should be disbarred
This case has been going on for two years. Dominion sued Fox in March 2021.
Pretrial discovery has been going on for a long time. Dominion got access to Fox emails and text messages and then deposed many people who worked at Fox. I know that some messages from Hannity, Tucker, Ingraham were part of court documents. Even Rupert Murdoch himself was deposed. Hannity and Tucker were expected to be called to testify by Dominion at the trial
The document I linked to is the judge opinion. He issued a summary judgement on 1, 2, 3, and 4 and gave his reasoning. https://courts.delaware.gov/Opinions/Download.aspx?id=345820
You should read it. It definitely wasn't hearsay and it definitely was not from other media. The info was from Fox insiders themselves. Basically in private they said there was no evidence for the allegations, but their let their on-air talent make the allegations over and over.
There's a definite reason Fox paid ~800 million. The trial would have been worse.
They might have fired him. Just because it’s a bad business decision means nothing. Look at Budweiser.
These companies don’t depend on sales. They depend on the government
Fox and Bud Light in the "Remaining Brands Together" support group.
Love Gen Flynn's response.
He gave the marching orders too!
Fox news just committed suicide but doesn't know it yet lol
All of the above sound very plausible. If the Murdoch's created a score card, these are the reason why Tucker had to leave.
For some reason I recalled this old post...

Fox Light.
Bud News.
My guess is Tucker left because he has had enough. They kept screwing him over on what he can and cannot say? J6, cheating, etc.. and he thinks he's done enough and made a name for himself enough he can leave and preach somewhere else and get the words out without censorship. As for the shady things he did in the past, it was a trade off for being at Fox. You don't get mainstream without sacrificing something. And he was biding his time till now. I believe it's still all part of the plan.
Something big is going down and he wants to be on the side that can speak truth. Yeah, I think Tucker is allright..he got this far, trading abit w/ the big boys, got most of his messages across.. I say not bad at all.
"You'll have so much winning, you'll be sick of winning...."
Not quite there yet DJT, but my popcorn machine is humming along, I can assure you!
And...while we were all hyperfocused on Tucker today, I just discovered that apparently Ukraine launched a major counter-offensive in the Donbass using NATO weapons?
That's (un)ironically the sort of thing Fox-watching normies would have heard criticism of from Tucker Carlson and literally no one else.
Thanks for the info OP. Good stuff!
No, I don't think that Fox "just demonstrated the power of Big Pharma."
I think they caved in to the power of the Deep State.
Faux CNN horse trade? DC clear primetime rivals for the good of DS? Knowing that Lemon already moved from primetime...
It's actually very simple, the cabal wanted Tucker gone and they don't care if their ratings crash, they're bankrolled by Blackrock.
My thoughts exactly. Fox just committed suicide by losing him. People relate to people they feel are more honest, and you don't get that from anyone but Tucker on Fox. He has fuck-you Swanson empire money, so he didn't need them. They needed him. I think there's some background action going on here we're not seeing yet, and I think it's an important comm to pay attention to
A based friend of mine keeps telling everyone he is going to OAN, but I haven't seen anything to suggest that. Not that I wouldn't support it because DAMN that would be awesome. Has anyone else heard where he might go?
If you read some of Tucker's text messages it will be hard for you to believe he is MAGA. I don't trust any of the news media. Trump plays all of them to get his message out.
Speaking truth. Fired. Simple as.
Mike Flynn nails it.
his marching order

I think he walked away after the Dominion fiasco bullshit. I would have.
Duuude. Yes.
Rumble popped too
Wen announcement?
