We couldn’t be so lucky
All "mistakes" only go one way.
In their favour.
It’s called “a glitch”.
Glitch better have my money. $GME

I’m sorry.
Rumor has it that Hillary was working IT there.
She had to learn to code after 2016.
Somebody accidentally hit the delete key 47 million times....
A brief explanation as to why they did it.

As a side note, I worked in IT. Major banks would have dedicated storage and backup teams to prevent unwanted deletion of documents. They typically store these files for many years. There is no such thing as "mistakenly" deleting records beyond the ability to recover them
Note that JP Morgan has unrealized losses that are many times worth more than their assets. This includes short positions in GME, AMC, Gold, Silver, and more.
They are committing financial crimes so out in the open that many countries would be rounding them up and executing them.
What else is going on? SEC investigating naked short selling all of a sudden, and republicans are trying to reform the SEC and kick Gary Gensler out at the same time. Is Gary trying to cover up the crime with Acceptance Waiver and Consent? Or did Gary flip and the would-be RINOS trying to stop him?
Should I hold off on paying my JPM credit card in full and just wait for them to fold? kek
JPMorgan isnt going anywhere. None of the others have. They are government "insured".
"too big to fail"
Really good question. The only risk is more interest.
True. Still, I think I'll pay it off and cut it up. Why give these Godless heathens moar money?
If they fold doesn't some other bank take over their stuff?
I'm pretty sure that is the case. Somebody else will buy the debt for pennies on the dollar. Typical. Unless the whole system collapses.
30 cents on the dollar with collections quotas of 15
Holding up muh lambo
Exactly right. First, there will be a log of the transactions that can be replayed backwards to reinstate the data. Second, there will be regular backups with off-site storage so that, usually after a short delay, a previous situation can be installed then the logs used again to move forwards to the correct time.
I am always amazed that people can get away with saying they deleted emails. First, there are the people those emails were sent to. They will have copies and then there will be the usual back-up systems in place. Often, a user will not even know where the data is stored but no-one ever seems to look.
I thought that too, til Corney
bingo
I think when you do shit like that, you should be completely dissolved, and not allowed to be a bank anymore.
I think you should be hung at the gallows if you did shit like this
Yes, that too
*hanged, but yes
Oopsie.
First we send billions more to Ukraine, now we have missing documents.
But hey, as long as it's not me and you it's ok. If it's me or you, we'd rot in prison for crimes 1/10,000 of what these two are.
As long as you don't have "an accounting error"...
Pentagon is "finding money" all the time
1 billion in the swear jar. 6.2 billion in the couch cushions. 2.3 trillion under the mattress.
That's ok, white hats have it all. PDJT said they have it all, assuming they mean this too.😏
JP Morgan Deletes, Others burn down the warehouse. Cohencidence, no doubt.
Maybe they'll find it like the Pentagon just found an accounting oopsie that means they suddenly have 6 billion more dollars they can send the Ukranian cokehead warcrime fairy president.
$6 Billion here, $6 Billion there, eventually we are talking real money.
https://www.reuters.com/legal/jpmorgan-chase-is-fined-by-sec-over-mistaken-deletion-emails-2023-06-22/
Don't worry! Looks like they're being fined 4 Million by the Securities and Exchange Commission. That's punishment! /s
After the 260 mil Epstein payoff, 4 mil is a drop in the bucket.. and still no real repercussions.
It's called Acceptance Waiver and Consent. It allows banks to commit crimes while the SEC profits from it
47 million transactions for the purchase of 3rd world children.
This will not stand. A reckoning will be coming. You will reap the whirlwind. Insert Mogan Freeman meme. (See this shit right here).
That should be automatic life in prison. There should be zero exception
right on schedule... Titanic news inbound...wasn't JPM involved in creation of FED and by association the deaths of his opponents on the Titanic?
Open admission that the fine was cheaper than the crimes.
I am sure it has nothing to do with Epstein.
Lol 47 MILLION? I might buy 47 but not the million part. They trying take the trophy from Killary?
has JPMorgan done anything to earn the benefit of the doubt about anything?
lol. lmao even
Anyone seen fight club? There’s more than one copy.
This goes much, much deeper...

"We have it all" ??
nothing is ever truly deleted in this day & age, for better or for worse.
hopefully in this case, worse for JPScum, uhh i mean JPMorgan.
Firing squads is the right thing to do, start negotiating for torture at first.
"...mistakenly...the SEC has alleged"
So it's the agency tasked with regulation doing the alleging?
Uh oh....ctrl z ctrl z ctrl z
Damn...
Just like the 6.2 billion 'oops' thst will get overlooked.
Amazing that a company like JPMorgan doesn't have a back-up? Sketch af
Oh, so I guess they got the message from the Sub story?
Now comes the huge SEC fine. Then I’m sure a lot of layoffs of the Wells Fargo rank and file employees. Maybe another straw on the camel’s back of the planned financial sector implosion
"Huge" fine.
"Thats ok, JPMorgan execs, mistakes happen. Of course, we're going to fine you $10k per deleted record. Because we'd fine smaller banks for the same thing. Its only fair, right?"
