Agreed. Before President Trump won the RNC primary, I was a big supporter of Ben Carson. Looking back, every day since then, I count my blessings Trump won.
Same - had he won the nomination, I would have voted for him.
I just have to ask about his idea of grain storage inside the pyramids. Noting that this was amped by GroomerStreamMedia. So this ask is really for anyone that can provide good clarification on it.
I assume now looking back that he might be stating that the pyramids were not what we thought. It can be easy to get onto the wrong track with so much of history being erased, blurred, rewritten, propagandized.

I think that Mr Trump needs to have people around him who will be supportive BUT will not just roll over. That means someone (somebodies) for whom he has real and deep respect such that he will listen to trusted counsel. He previously trusted unwisely, and that might make him even more isolated in his considerations and decisions. I believe Dr Carson to be such a person. However, at the end of the day, I will support Mr Trump's choice

that is my concern with a Trump term. The proverbial "little old lady in tennis shoes" will just wait out the administration and stall long enough to get a more favorable administration. The problems we have were not created overnight and will not be resolved in one term or by one man. This is a generational struggle.
Also someone based who has a medical background who can possibly user that to start to unpick all the medical industrial complex shenanigans and criminality
Better as a cabinet member. I don't see him bringing in any state or demographix that Trump wouldnt already get on his own. And then, you have a genius like Carson serving in one of the most useless positions in government. I'd rather see him serving in s real role.

This is a very pleasing surprise, if it is real. In 2016, I was originally a supporter of Ben Carson, having read his biography. Then Trump showed up for the primary, stirred the pot---and became friends with Carson. During this time, there was a lot of press agitation about Trump's personality and "mean tweets," etc. But I knew about Carson, and I figured, "If Ben Carson approves of Trump, that's all I need to know." For me, it was like a Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval on Trump's personality. Carson is cool, collected, and effective. The perfect behind-the-scenes operative.
Trump seems to want a low-key, no-mistake VP, who won't take any spotlight from Trump. Carson fits that nicely. I'm intrigued.
I believe he’s smart enough, untainted, and incorruptible so he could really accomplish something in that position. And he’s a bit of softness to Trump’s hard charging character.
Too much softness I think. Keep in mind who we are fighting, they will do ANYTHING to win. Two bulldogs are better than one. He’s a nice guy but that is the problem for the current times.
yea but I’m sure Trump is gonna bring many pit bulls onboard so one soft but very intelligent VP would work. Besides, in the past, the VP slot was just a place holder.

The real issue becomes if he needs to step into the POTUS role. I think we always have to use that consideration.

No!!!!! We need a Rand Paul or anyone with Trumps’ brain and mouth and steel backbone. I don’t think Carson is bloodthirsty enough to stand toe to toe and not back down.
"Bloodthirsty" doesn't get the job done. That's just melodrama. Remember that Carson was a brain surgeon. He is used to having a life in his hands---and having steady hands. Remember also that of all of Trump's cabinet, he ran his department so impeccably that no news media could find fault with him.

Dr. Carson would be a great pick. However, I will support whomever Trump picks for VP. DJT has his reasons, even though we may not be privy to that information.

I like Dr. Carson a lot. My only worry for having him as VP is that he may be too "civilized" for the job President Trump has in front of him. The Deep State is not going to go down easily, and I think we need fighters just like Trump at as many positions as possible. Dr. Carson is a classy man, and that's just not going to work with the level of evil we are dealing with in the swamp.
It brings to mind a comment made by Jesse Ventura years ago when someone asked if he thought he would be a good VP choice for Arnold Schwarzenegger if he could run for president. Jesse replied: "I'd probably be a great one. After all, nobody would want to assassinate Arnold if they thought they were going to get me coming up after him!"

they always say the VP should be someone who reinforces areas that are not your strong suit. Carson has the same core beliefs as us while also being Trump's opposite in a lot of ways. the things that made him unable to win the presidential nomination make him an excellent candidate for VP

We are in an early primary state so in 2016 Trump was 30 points ahead here before the primary. The wife and I were concerned polling was being used to manipulate the vote. We both supported Trump and everything he was talking about but chose to vote Carson in the primary in case the Lizard people were using bogus polling to manipulate the vote. We wanted Trump as president but were happy to show support for Carson in case the 30-point lead was propaganda.
I think Ben Carson is an honorable man and he has a gentler personality than President Trump. They could be a very well balanced team.
This man, is one of my favorite American success stories. From a fatherless child growing up in public housing, to a world renowned brain surgeon. From all reports, he is a man of outstanding moral character and honesty. But. I want my president to be a man who inspires fear, and respect in our allies and potential enemies. I could be wrong, but I don't get the street fighter vibe from Doctor Carson.
OK, what are the choices now: Ben Carson, Tucker Carlson, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan, Kari Lake. Any other ideas? It has to be someone high profile. In fact, Carson might not be high profile enough. Now look at the Democrats. The shelf is bare. They have no one to run for President or VP who isn't a laughingstock. Whoever they had was tried out back in 2020, and there was no sign of brain cell activity.

Dr Carson definitely belongs in the Trump Administration. The deep state had their minions, blm and antifa, destroy his Opportunity Centers throughout the country. Obviously, his Centers were effective.

I stand by what I said previously. I do not think we will know who the VP choice will be until the last possible moment. That being said as stellar a man as Dr. Carson is, he is too nice and gentle for the VP position this time around, maybe the next term as President though. Trump needs an articulate, intelligent bulldog, who backs down to no one, and like Trump, who is not owned and has no allegiance to no one but God. If things go according to what we believe, this isn't going to be one man task, and having two sharks in play will have people not knowing which way to jump. Do I have any ideas, not at the moment, my guess is the VP pick will be someone that isn't well known.
