I have a business that does well with FB adds, so that’s why I have FB. I logged in today and found I was restricted for a vaguely pornographic picture that I have never seen or had on my timeline. And it was supposedly posted on July 11, 2022. WTH? I have pictures of my grandchildren on FB, for god sakes.
It’s obviously a plant and so that scares the hell out of me. Can they just put up illegal photos and accuse you of posting them? That picture was never on my timeline. Or in my photos.
Feeling harassed and to be honest, a bit scared and confused.

Their family laptops would turn on by themselves at night and thankfully, she had experts look at them beforehand, because someone tried to download child porn on her husband's laptop. The experts told her it was a sophisticated enough attack that it was probably a government entity. At one point, she called her cable company to check a cable on her house that they suddenly noticed. When they got there the next day, it had already been removed and she found out it wasn't the cable company that had installed it.
Same thing happened with Julian Assange.. They attempted to label him a pedo and apparently Assange was able to show his machine was tampered with..

I noticed you mentioned it was your business page. Just throwing this out there. I think it's some glitch with FB as I get this sometimes as well. I'm a landscape / wildlife photographer ( on the side ) and I will randomly get a notice from FB that one or more of my pictures was reported for blah blah and the post / image was removed.
Never removes any images, so I just report it every time it happens. I was getting one a month for a while, but it's been a good 4 months since it's happened.
are you sure it wasn't phishing notice sent to you? I get spam notices on business facebook account all the time.
This! On my business pages I've been accused of copyright infringement more than once and the only thing I ever post are my own pictures.
Updoot for this. I got caught in an FB scam through one of my business pages. Indonesian hackers gained control of my account for about two weeks before I could get it back.

I know that I have posted some conservative stuff on FB, but have never been dinged for it, but on FB Marketplace, any ad that I place there is hit by some kind of restriction that won't let me boost the ad. I've send messages to FBM asking why and never get an answer.
My daughter has a small birthday/wedding cake biz. Two years ago out of no where FB shut down her page. They said ‘associated with child trafficking’. Someone she did jot know, from California, posted something to her timeline somewhere that she had no clue was there. She tried for months to resolve the issue with FB. Every time FB response was “fuk off … we are facebook”. She lost a ton of business.

It's possible you posted a link to a photo and then that photo was changed to something else on the linked website.
Similar stuff happens in twitter, if you reply to certain people/post or retweet from them or posts on certain subjects you start getting 'likes' from bot accounts(usually attractive female picture with commercial dating/porn link in their header and zero posts or comments).
I suspect that they use it as a tagging mechanism when it comes to twitter(they have less control over it as 2.0 and crew are actively trying to root out remaining DS gremlins) as they can't use the same methods as of FB which tends to be replying/commenting something that gets the account banned/locked.
FB don't have to have a solid legal foot to stand on, just enough of an issue to use as an excuse/justification to make it a fight that most people won't try to contest due to the money and effort needed(which is obviously less of an issue for them than it is for most users)...
I'm just waiting on them to use AI generated for this exact purpose. We've all speculated on them using fake AI videos, but this would also fall right into what I'd expect them to do.

The battle lines have been drawn for a while now. FB and BigTech are not someone anyone should build their business on. At least not solely. It is more important than ever to expand revenue streams and never rely on any one platform for anything. This includes merchant accounts with banks. I knew a guy that had 20 different ones and they were all shut down at once. Turns out they were all owned/controlled by one entity. So do some research.

Just an FYI, I received soft confirmation from the FBI agents who visited me for attending J6 because of a comment I made on FB that they monitor FB. I wouldn't discount the possibility that you're being targeted and they in fact planted the photo in question. You are kind of feeding the beast on FB. I guess for business, it's needed, but just put up a page pointing users to a tiny url, or some proxy that then points to brighteon or some other network. Get your pictures, etc off of there, follow steps to clean and delete account.

I know that YouTube had a glitch recently where you would effectively be in someone else's account. Sometimes the "lines get crossed", as it were.

Left fakebook several years ago over their war on conservatives and censorship. I didn't want them to make a dime on advertising off the time I might spend there. Experienced all kinds of shenanigans, disappearing posts, shadow-banning, censorship, etc. Also had many friends who experienced the same things. They once banned a friend for 3 months for a joke he posted five years before that nobody ever complained about. So, they were going through old posts from years back just looking for liberal ammo. I would challenge them on it immediately. I don't put anything past Suckerberg & Company.

My uncle somehow had “followed” a bunch of underage looking Asian girls on FB. They were like.. idk “escorts” or something. Caused quite a commotion. He works for DOD, former mil. My aunt had a cow but they figured out they hacked his account. I wouldn’t use it. Scary stuff. They could ruin your life. I think that’s the intention.

If you're not a thread and it's just "regular" pornography (which is not illegal), it's probably just a glitch.
Now if the answer to either or both of those questions is "yes", we might have trouble.
If you hire a woke, trans-female, person of color w/ purple hair as your social media manager - and you pay them a "living wage"¹ to do fuck-all while they work remotely from home, I can guarantee you will never have this problem happen again.
