Especially not your 'fishing pole'. You shouldn't need a license to feed yourself.
In my state, when you turn 65 you can apply for a lifetime hunting, fishing and trapping license. That's how it should be!
Why would/should an individual need a license at all? I could, possibly, see one for commercial catchers of fish and other seafood, as they may take too much out of the system-even this could do with a look-see. As we want governments out of our lives, not more into it. There is a balance there somewhere, right now I am not sure where it is.
A good role for government is managing interactions with the natural world, such as the use of natural resources. None of us created nature but we all use it, so that is the proper arena for political consensus. I shouldn’t have a vote on how much of his abstract income another citizen is “allowed” to keep, but I should have a say on how many fish he is allowed to take from nature.
Which state is that? Lol
The "remaining lifetime" license.
The Ghost in the machine approves this message 👻👻👻

Really? I want every single illegal alien out of this country. I want imported Muslims gone also.
Since no Moorish style expulsion is going to happen, the best we might actually be able to swing is private cities that will be protected by walls/fencing and have entrance criteria. Imagine the pure joy of living in a place where psychiatrists have screened out the psychopaths, sociopaths, the mentally ill, the impulsive, the hot tempered, the depressive, the people who don't speak English, and the non-American citizens as a starting point.
Why let the psychiatrists decide? Better to filter based on genetics and racial similarity.
Because I don't think a DNA test can identify psychopaths or behavioral traits I am looking to exclude. Also racial harmony is just one fracture line in a society and I'm also looking to find other traits. To my mind the real issue is how you handle kids. If you're carefully curated a society of stable and compatible people and then they go creating new people you run the risk that they create people that don't meet your filter criteria.
Skull shape is more than enough, keep it white only deal with problems as they arise and you'll be fine, just dont let any shapeshifters in.
Then cull the defective ones.
It's a good idea - but currently you would get sued for civil rights violations. Nobody around here wants to talk about it because we're all created equal 'n sheet, but truth is we used to have what they called 'freedom of association' which meant not only the right to associate with those you wanted to but also to Keep Out those who you didn't want to join. The civil rights legislation took that all away. Maybe Chevron rolled some of it back a bit.
Private clubs are able to discriminate and amusingly the more restrictive the membership requirements are the more likely it is to be considered a private club and thus allowed to do it. For example, The Boys and Girls Club organization used to just be the Boys Club. But they lost a lawsuit and the Supreme Court ruled that because they accepted ALL boys they are essentially public, except for girls.
What you describe is heaven, brother. A city void of temptation or sin. All speaking the same language and all with the same values. Like a Thomas Kinkade painting.
IMO, mentally ill folks keep things interesting.
I have hobbies, I don't need that type of "interesting".
When it comes to people: voting?
People are not "things" for context.
Well, he said “people” in the post, so went too far.
Ghost people means:
Ghost voters.
Ghost children.
good point. hmmm...
how do we solve for this? voter ID?
where does it stop? drivers licenses? I've heard those are unconstitutional too somehow.
I mean, gotta be realistic here. Wanna live off the books and outside the system? OK fine, but you would need to register to vote, have a state issued license, etc.
I see property ownership as being another grey area. It's none of the govts business what I do with my land and duly shouldn't be taxed simply for ownership (outside of perhaps county and state tax) but that also must be documented in a sense, for how would one even prove they own example given property.
I say take everything back to 1899 status. Only a handful of federal agencies. No federal requirements or hurdles or red tape. Imagine a world with like 4 or 5 federal agencies: Dept of State. Dept of Treasury. Dept of Agriculture. Dept of War. Dept of Public Works.
Done & done.
I would gladly give up all this technology to wake up in a world before it came. Im 35, catch myself watching alot of the old westerns these days. Was those days spot free of problems? hell no. but, they werent trapped in this matrix.
You might ask Billie The Kid about that. In the newest movie series he protects the poor Mexican farmers from a secret society called the Santa Fe ring.
The Organic Act of 1871 started the ball rolling with the change from USA to USA, Inc. from what I've gathered. Yes, we still have to have some sort of ID, but getting fined for not having it when a law officer pulling you over and has your photo pulled up on his computer along with your entire legal history is BS.
not having an ID on you should not be a crime, it should just exclude you from certain things, such as voting or running for office. Bring that shit with you.
they can just type you into the computer via name if you break the law without it.
if it doesn't show up they can arrest for false id on top of the crime
Traffic stop laws need to be revamped though, way too many cops mutilate the probable cause doctrine.
I like this more than the rest of the comments in here
In 1899 there weren’t corporations dumping micro plastics and forever chemicals into the water and food supplies. Along with protecting our personal rights via law & order, government as the embodiment of the citizens’ political consensus should protect and manage nature. And that’s about it. No need for government to get its dirty fingers in people’s abstract activities such as education, healthcare, retirement planning, charity, etc, which should all be traded for privately and voluntarily.
Can non-citizen get a drivers license? Perhaps not good as a voter ID.

Open Source Cars!!!
I've thought about this since 2011. I had some really good ideas on cars, but I am not rich, so...
Maybe if we referred to those things that are not "ghost" as "monitored" it might get through to some. Monitored guns, monitored cars, monitored business, etc....
Good luck with that. The state / county / local police will ticket you and tow you. They have to have their tax money.
Amen!!!
Everything the government wants a payment for is just a hidden tax to take wealth out of your pocketbook. I don't think our forefathers needed to pay a horse tax to trod on a trail into town. Why does the government need automobile taxes???....to fix the roads? NOPE!. That's what property taxes cover. You pay tax on you house and that money goes to fund new asphalt on the roads the car travels upon. So where does the automobile tax go? Into some dark hole that only elites have access too.
Property tax should be abolished too. Taxation is theft.
I saw some people who are constitutionalists basically talking about this and how people have signed on to the system by cooperating with all this licensing business and to just stop and opt out.
Ghost marriages. We didn't ask our government permission to get married. We got married under God. That is all you need. I live in Arizona where I can own virtually any gun but mine are all ghost guns - for a reason.
How much money does the government waste on this sort of administrative despotism? How much of our taxes goes to this bs?😱
Comparatively little compared to social programs and spending including education, military spending, and public safety,
Pop ghost the weasel.
We do need to figure out what we will do to ID people in cars. Once cars aren't licensed, you will get into a fatal accident and the person causing it, if they can get away, will. No one will know whose car it is. If someone robs your business and gets in their car, you want to be able to give a license plate number to the police. If someone kidnaps your kid, you want to be able to give a license plate number at least. I think ID plates on cars are a good thing.
As far as property, I can see registering your property (or car for that matter), paying an admin fee ($30 or $50 or whatever nominal fee) and that's it. It's yours.
We do need a national ID so we know who is here illegally. We need standards to do that though.
I also think standards on buildings are a good thing, since I want to know if I visit someone in a high rise, it will stand because we aren't a third world country, and if I buy a house I want to know that the electrical was done properly and the house won't burn down. The only way to do that without standards and checks is for everyone buying a house/apartment/condo/whatever to know everything there is to know about electricity, plumbing, building, etc. That's unreasonable IMO.
I think we can pay nominal fees to cover someone's salary and supplies, however these out of control taxes/fees are stupid. It's lining people's pockets. We do need to figure out a new system before we ghost it all though.
Aannndddd I disappear…or maybe it’s just the camo…
The government is allowed to have ghost governments and ghost assets....soooo what's the problem?
I agree with the sentiment, but what about businesses that have liability? Monsanto, hospitals, etc. People sue abusive companies all the time
But if you don't register those with the government, how are they held accountable by those injured by them in some way? So the people wouldn't be able to fight back against these corporations when their rights aren't being respected. I hope there's a good answer to this in that scenario.
Fully automatic assault rifles should be ghost too.
But, but, but it's for our safety! Keke
Personally, I don't want to be safe. I want to be free. Let my own conscience and knowledge guide me.
I'm a ghost since 9/11.
I like this thinking…
