I would guess that if something happens on or before the date of the election that hinders people's ability to vote, that the election would be"cancelled" and whoever is ahead at that time wins. That's not how elections work, but at this point there aren't really any rules.
I should clarify that I think this early voting tactic is a safeguard against a situation like I described above. It blocks them from using this kind of play.

The thing is...Biden is currently our POTATUS. Kamala will not get the same kind of benefit. Nor would any attack not in US territory. With Biden and Harris carrying a track record of incompetence, this could easily backfire.
IF the deep state was going to choose WW III as an option, it seems that strategy would best happen sooner than later. They would want to have the media beating the war drum and it would give cover to insert Feds blatently into state election efforts.
Assassination at this point would just piss off anybody who wants change. Messing with Trump in general hurts Democrats. I don't see anybody changing their vote to D just because Trump is taken out. I also think the chance of demoralization to suppress turnout is low. Plus, there's just a poor ability to execute.
Internet outage wouldn't work. That means devices are attached to the Internet. We're told that's illegal. Only real advantage I see is cover is given to delay any report of results. That would probably make stealing easier, though.

"Glitches" like ballots that can't be scanned when R's disproportionately vote (election day)
The notorious "let's take a break" in swing states to buy time and recalculate.
Forever accepting more mail-in ballots
Terror attacks on voting centers. That would, for sure, suppress turnout and it only has to happen in certain places to flip states. Have corrupt judges say there will be no additional voting time, or just rinse and repeat the terror.
Dems cheating FOR Trump. Imagine dumping in 10 million "extra" ballots for Trump in swing states and crying foul. You could taint any and all R victories with this strategy. They love projecting their actions upon their opponents. Then cover up the evidence with an investigation. This seems really dangerous.

Now it seems that something big is going to happen on Election Day, so our side is advising us to get our votes in ahead of time. Very well, I can support that plan.

Somehow a janitor could simply toss a bunch of paper ballots into an incinerator by accident or a tech head could hit a wrong keystroke and erase thousands if not millions of banked votes. I can’t answer how the vote is stored because each state is different. Here is a tabulated machine with a paper ballot receipt. Those paper ballots and tallies stay under lock and key until counted on Election Day, paper ballots can easily be taken out and compared to tally in an audit. Each state is different,

I actually convinced my mom to vote early this election! She is very much a "vote on election day" person! Early voting in Louisiana starts tomorrow thru the 29th. I'm so excited it's FINALLY time to go vote for my president 😁

Check your local county's voter website for location and times. Might want to go early in the day. I went yesterday around noon and couldn't find parking. Went back early this morning and was in and out in under 10 minutes.

When people have to change their plans, they make mistakes. Will they be forced to re-use ballots for scanning? Maybe they just over compensate and submit a stupid high number of fake ballots. Or perhaps it encourages them to not cheat and just take the L.
At the absolute minimum, people who get busy, have a bad day, or are about to pass on will have their votes counted.

Trump did himself a disservice by telling people only to vote on Election Day - even if it’s better to vote in person, there could be someone who doesn’t have the means to get to a polling center or maybe they can’t vote for another reason. Maybe they die! Or maybe they just forget or get sick or something.
By telling people to vote early, you don’t let the democrats get a head start that we then have to overcome on Election Day. It makes no sense to tell people “don’t vote early or by mail in ballot” as you’re literally turning away voters. It may not be ideal, but they all count.
Here in Alabama, we vote only on election day, but then again, we are already a red state, so they know we are majority for Trump. People in the community have been up in arms when they heard a rumor about illegals being dumped in our area, especially in the wealthier areas of the county. Because the rumor, if true, was putting the illegals mostly in their neighborhoods. So, if anyone from that community was on the fence on who to vote for, guess what just pushed them over to Trump's side.

yea me & my husband are gonna vote next week -it opens Monday in my town
I dunno but I worked the polls today in NC and we were swamped with voters of all ages and parties.
I even had to do a provisional ballot for a voter who was displaced from Western NC.
