In an ideal world, the ill gotten wealth is recaptured, they sell off their remaining assets, and they get public lawyers like so many of the people they destroyed.
I'll bet it will be cheaper in the long run for the taxpayers to stop funding their fraud and instead pay for the one way tickets and a long term stay at GITMO.
The housing market prices are all inflated. Some by the cartels, some by crooks getting free taxpayer money to throw around. Who suffers? The innocent, law abiding citizen. We have all been robbed with higher mortgages than we should have ever had, while paying higher taxes to pay for THEIR houses. I am so pissed.
The thing is, the market is flooding. This means buyers can look around and compare, and the way to stand out is to have a 'good deal' - a downward trend will initiate - people will get more desperate, and slash their prices and prices will come down. So eventually, buyers will start buying.
But…who is going to pay millions to move to the DC area? Those prices will need to plunge dramatically and even then I’m not sure how many people want to live there.
A lot of these people missed here on a relocation package paid for my their employer. It’s interesting to see how many are leaving but are doing so without the relo package. That isn’t cheap unless they are making bank off their sale. Also, how I everyone owning multi million dollar homes there? Real estate getting interesting in DC.
Yeah...Trump needs to fill the DUMB base under the Denver Airport with concrete and move the seat of Government to one of the Denver area Post Offices and call it a day!
I was wondering if these are second homes being sold to help fund the lawyer these crooks are going to be needing, or if they are already indicted and their assets are seized.
In reality, many of them are probably taking the generous pay outs on offer to public servants and getting heading to low taxing states with proper law and order.
And then they will vote Democrat when they get there.
Only reason for parties at all is if we are seeking our own at someone else’s expense on a finite pie. It’s a push system, where we pray that a single checkbox results in things we want because they have a letter by their name, in hopes that they give us some pittance we want. This is stupid.
Parties SHOULD go away entirely. We need a pull system. People want or need things, they demand it, contribute to funding it, and some mechanism is in place to make sure that nobody’s toes get unduly stepped on in the process, with methods of appeal. Government servants basically become project managers at that point, if even that.
I don’t claim to have all the ins and outs of that figured out, but the whole thing needs a huge overhaul, and with the communication and automation tools we have now, there’s no reason to need to pray by horseback that some man will embed himself in a far away land and do good things for us.
I'm not a fan of political parties. But too many people are going to vote based on a collective mindset. I'm hoping there's a way to manage it - i.e. prevent political parties from dominating the landscape.
Voting Democrat is effectively armed robbery wearing a coat of charity, at best.
Anyone who genuinely supports the advocated charity should fund it directly, and be looking for positive results of the charity instead of mere subsidization of degeneracy.
Not saying these conclusions are wrong, but having lived here for over 55 years, there's always a new spate of buying and selling after changes in administrations and changes in congressional leadership. Note the increase in rental prices. We will see how it all shakes out. It would be interesting to see a comparison between this and the last change
Looks like a lot of “New” and “Coming Soon”. Don’t think these are previously lived in properties, does need more looking into than just this picture is showing.
Not necessarily. I have never had a desire to live in a McMansion. I have no desire to walk a city block to get to my coffee or midnight snack or scrubbing a 20' x 16' bathroom. And before you say it, I don't want servants..I like my privacy.
The value of anything is shown after it’s sold. Is there a market to buy or are the homes going to crash? This might be the beginning of a house bubble popping for the USA. These rats abandoning ship, would they consider moving anywhere in the USA?
A lot to consider. If they cannot sell their home and they move to another country does these homes become affordable to auctions? The conservatives could buy up these homes and move into DC and a very discounted cost, plus with DOGE trying to save tax dollars they will not want to hold onto these homes and maintain them, that would be very expensive.
I hope this truly is an evil exodus and those who are able to take advantage of this situation. It would be nice to see real Americans in DC.
Hard to justify the DC lifestyle when your government grift is gone and only your second “consulting” job remains that nobody now needs. One big bonanza left is for criminal attorneys. After the trials are over they’ll be packing their bags in search of greener pastures too.
Could also be related to workforce reduction and ex gov employees unable to afford their mortgage too. And also people quitting and moving out of that area.
My guess is CIA and FBI employees quitting. They reside in that area
As some people have shown, this isn't unusual for a large metro area. I drew a circle around DC and surrounding areas on Zillow and it showed a total of 10,343 homes for sale.
Trump administration with the DOJ and Kash Patel need to start looking to flip Democrats to make deals to testify against these people. Once people flip and they start to rat on the big fish game over.
All packing up and heading to Israel
Good one! An unfortunately probably true! Lots of duel Israeli/US citizens in the Federal Government - infiltration from within.
but no real duels. Think: DUAL.
Or GITMO
Hopefully, President Trump is not buying Gaza for them! Just teasing.
I guess they might go to one of the other following countries that has no extradition treaty with USA then.
Other Countries Without an Extradition Treaty with the U.S.:
South Africa? hmmmm maybe they can become farmers...jus saying...

Gee I've seen Google searches used in court cases to put away common folk. Wondering if the same will be done here.
The shoe being on the other foot for the first time in... centuries? ever? certainly brings about all manner of delicious options for wielding power.
None of us ever needed something like parallel construction though, since the crimes of those we face are so overt.
A DoJ that suddenly has an interest in Justice is a game changer.
They're probably all on Reddit asking how to use bleach bit

Big discounts coming in 5,4,3,2....
You flood the market and prices drop. They will all lose their shirts, and I am happy for them to do so.
I was just thinking the same thing. I guess you could say the DC area is gonna become a buyers' market very soon!
Hmm, if only 500K Feds in DC lose their job and or get their homes confiscated... Prices will plunge like Obama on his wife's 🍆
How muh of that money was ill-gotten gains?
Hate to even guess

Washington is toxic. Wait until Trump relocates the capital to the plains.
Yeah...Trump needs to fill the DUMB base under the Denver Airport with concrete and move the seat of Government to one of the Denver area Post Offices and call it a day!
...Denver has my bet since it's Chyenne Mtn. local

There soon wont be a Democrat Party to vote for.
No more uniparty. There will be MAGA, maybe a Libertarian party, and maybe the TEA party makes a comeback.

they should make things better!
Correct. Anyone who doesn’t like it… get over it! 🥰
They won't have a reason to vote democrat for big bloated government again . . .
That won't stop them
They might not get a choice.

I expected this. Not surprised. If this wasn't happening I would be worried.
So, no fallout, no boom-boom. Makes sense to me.
About time the DC market gets re-balanced. Hopefully soon our cost of living (across the country) will be re-balanced as well.
Maybe when my condo lease is up in a year's time I'll be able to afford a home in Northern VA again
Trump Train derailing the Gravy Train!
This is fantastic!

There are going to be a s____ load of unemployed, job seekers.
ya love to see it
Seized properties?
I wonder how long it take the retard cooties to die off of every surface in these homes?

Exit stage Left
Let the prices collapse and make it affordable to common folk
common folk want everything the elites have. possesions and assets and status. they need to stop apologizing for it.

you probably dont play the lottery or gamble either. smart.
Nope. I have known a slew of very, very wealthy people, and for most, that old saying about happiness and peace is true.
awake looks good on you
I am hoping some, maybe all, move out of Maryland also. We will see.
Norther Virginia turning Red!
Some one could get an amazing property right across the chain Bridge. Pretty sure it includes shooting ranges and an impressive security system.

Lol @those prices.
For the dc ghetto area. Please.
Yes, it's good they're fleeing, but they still have not adjusted to reality. Who's the buyer? Besides Blackrock I mean.
