Is this the real reason DOW Hegseth called this meeting? How many attendees are like "Oh shit...."?

A lot of the Pentagon staff will have a problem.
You can't do the 2-mile run in 16 minutes while wearing a pencil skirt... or to stop every minute during the timed run to pull the leotard thong from your crack.
From here on out, the military will tolerate no more of that "woke" LGBTQ crud.
This was the absolute requirement when I was on active duty. Should go without even saying it. When were troops and generals allowed to fail the PT test and height / weight standards??
Same here. I know that standards changed after I left in '92, but I didn't want to think that it was a bad as some people said. I know the Reserve and NG had some two-ton Tony's, but I hope it was the exception rather thatn the rule.
Two ton Tonys! HA! Yes they did . . .
I don't know, but if it wasn't for the age discrimination against me, I wouldn't be putting nearly the hurt on the Deep State that I now am doing. Kind of a belated FAFO happening.
Yep plus Pete H needs to know who is who and who is loyal.
Seems like it was 1.5 miles in under 11 minutes. I don't remember the body fat percentage number.
Ours was 2 miles, but age and sex determined the time for pass / fail. Also sit ups and push ups.
Of course, real troops did not want to pass, they wanted to MAX the PT test!!
HOO AH!
Still proud of my 12:30 2 mile... I wish I could still do it.
Good lord that’s fast. I think my best was low 14.
TBH I do not remember my time, but it was max! I do remember I would run Volksmarches, 10K, in ~ < 45 min but that was rough terrain. So I am guessing 7+ minute mile, so less than 15 min for the 2 miles. Sounds about right.
I outran all the females, but the young males in my command could have left me in the dust! But they didn't in our PT runs. HA! I think they respected what I could do, as a female placed in command over them, I was at least respectable.
Congrats on your 6 min miles!
OH we all tried to exceed the limits of our bodies and minds! HOO AH!
Hooah! I was a young PFC back then in my prime really, 26-27 was when I was at my peak, Nowadays I'm a 100% disabled vet with achy joints and pain everywhere else 😅 I'm broken but proud.... maybe rocking that Vet/Dad bod.
Thank you for your Service! HOO AH!
I think my prime, of running and weight training, was 35.
The military knows how to extract "all that we can be" and we do so willingly! Where else does one receive such confidence and expectation in his native abilities!! Such feeling that one is appreciated, valued, NEEDED!
BUT the military is a young man's game. OH MY what can happen to a body! The young person is thrilled to contribute, with no knowledge of what that contribution will do to his body down the line. Well that is why we have the VA.
I hope you find the relief from your pain. And . . . don't think of yourself as broken . . . just saying . . . I get the vibe that you are not broken, ok??
EXACTLY. Remember when a two time APFT No-Go was a one way ticket out of the Army?
Yeah, chaptered out as I remember, not a dishonorable discharge.
OH I remember a LT who would eat, I don't remember, a quart? of ice cream every day! He was discharged, and I think he was happy, so that he could indulge in his habit and no more PT tests or weigh ins!
Wonder how many will decide to leave the service because of those requirements?
They will be kicked out if they fail.
This is a great way to clean house.
Exactly
I love that they don't have much to bitch about. RFK Jr is 71 years old and in better shape than almost all of them.
He's gotta be getting testosterone injections to be that buff at his age.
Oh sure, a lot of older guys are on TRT these days.
When they're built like RFK Jr they are!
I don't blame him. He's just leveling the playing field with the 25 year olds.
Of course, anyone who can and doesnt is foolish. Our bodies are stopping testosterone production way to young. I could barely move without it. We are supposed to have it in us.
How much does it cost and where can I get it?
nah
Rfk is doing more than just test. Some low level roid
Test is a steroid
Department of War comms?
…
When was “Dogs of War” widely used in the 20th century, exactly?
Dogs of War, a track from Pink Floyd's Momentary Lapse of Reason album, got some widespread radio airplay in 1987, back when radio airplay was a thing ;p
Pink Floyd - Dogs of War w/lyrics 1987
Also from 1987...

Black Sabbath- War Pigs
BOOM
Saw that tour. 11th row. 2 hits of blotter. Statute of Limitations has expired.
Ha ha with that on board you could've had 111th row and still felt as if inside Gilmour's guitar
Username thoroughly checks out!
Radios and what they play are a thing of the past
Dogs of War is also a decent 1980 Christopher Walken movie about arms dealing.
It’s also a good Motorhead song
Great album. That said, any Pink Floyd minus Roger Waters is Pink Fraud
Movie 1970's IIRC
The scam back in 1990 was too have a medical reason. My overweight Sgt, had Loose body syndrome. A totally made up problem.
Hopefully every last pervert.
First there will be lawsuits theyll use. The height of fairness is everyone has to do it.
The fat shaming shall continue until we MAMGA, Make American Military Great Again!
LOL, Admiral Rachel Levine's sorry, fat, tranny ass is on the chopping block now.
Mr Levine has been out of public service since Inauguration day this year. Even he knew Trump wouldn't allow him to stay.
This is definitely raising the bar! I bet it clears out at least 75% of the Generals Corp.
Well..POTUS did say this:
He said Central casting?! LOL. Interdasting…
It must have been a distraction from some major military movement.
yes.
that jumped out to me as well.
That’s their goal. They have better men in the ranks who will be promoted.
Well….Milley got out at the perfect time
Yes, he just barely squeezed through the door.
He was real fat
Im going to get hate for this but I do not see how this meeting was needed. Email, phone call, face time conference, idk but popping this meeting just to give the information that was giving today while patriots are like ""something big is happening!!! it has to be!!!" and then this? Ehh disappointed.
Could be cover, who knows what was said off camera.
Exactly, we aren't being told everything, I am sure of that.
See the posts from clandestine. The meeting wasn't to tell this to every general. It's a meeting so that every general knows that every other general has been told, and the public too.
It's no different than the corporate world.
If you're making the big bucks, they want your ass there. Front and center.
Exactly, and we will never have that great executive meeting scene from Margin Call (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7prnY2FOxns) if it’s on Zoom. If the CEO did that meeting on his bed and not flying to the building via helicopter, the meeting will never feel urgent or tense because non-verbal communication and atmosphere are every bit as crucial.
Of course, these generals are here for a reason and majority must be not good patriots
Actually, emails were sent, but this was just a tiny snipper of a huge change in ideology. And DEI hires have a way of ignoring emails that they don’t agree with. This meeting wasn’t just a meeting, it was letting everyone know that the expectation is to meet the demands in all areas as directed by the DOW. Everyone was told what the expectations are and there will be no quarter given for those who do not do as ordered. It was big, bigger than you realize. And as a result, the US will have an even better fighting force than before.
Optics. Video is available for all to see. Hard to view a conference call with 800 generals and admirals.
And those who don’t agree with the new command would find a way to be absent from this meeting.
About time. My brother was in the national guard and used to come to my home just before training bc he decided to go to this active guard unit near my home.
He used to wear a sweat suit and work out on our exercise equipment to help him make his weight. It worked but I always wondered at what cost to his health.
After he left the service his weight ballooned up and he ended up with diabetes. He's finally been able to slim back down again but is on diabetes meds..
Have you ever skimmed through the Parasite Pill? The meds he takes are meant to maintain his condition ($$$$), not cure it.
Parasite Pill 2.0
Downloaded. Thank you.
Changed my life!
Excuse me while I go take some Vitamin C.
The exercise kept him from getting diabetes earlier. Also, if he was on statins that could contribute to type 2 diabetes. There are a lot of natural supplements that can help with diabetes.
I have read type 2 diabetes is reversible with a special, plant based, diet.
I am on a program to reverse type 2. No special meds, just grain free, dairy free and animal protein every meal. Plant protein is fine but there also needs to be animal protein. Since July 2, my A1c has gone from 10.2 to 6.7, cholesterol is in range and triglycerides are an amazing 135. I’ve lost about 45lbs in the process without crazy exercise.
I am very thin and my problem is that I can’t tolerate sugars, if I eat ice cream I get sick if the foods are not natural I get sick so I have to be careful what I eat, not even milk, as you all know milk has sugars it has to be unsweetened milk (plant base like rice milk) also can’t take any medications thanks to God.
Dr Ken Berry says it’s reversible with a “proper human diet”, meaning carnivore or keto or low carb.
keto
A special meat based diet would serve him better!
woke
He doesn’t need the diabetes meds, he just need to eat healthy like my mom did when she was alive, no sugar foods and I helped her so she got rid of the diabetes
He likes to eat way too much has always been a heavy eater since he was a kid. But was so active in sports he maintained his weight until he got older. He is working and traveling alot for his job so I am sure he is not eating well in that regard either. But he checks his blood sugars everyday and knows when he's been bad.
I guess this means no more donuts on Fridays fellas.
You know what? It's not calories that causes weight gain; it's a lack of vitamins.
Body goes into survival mode when it doesn't get enough vitamins.
Thanks for the sticky mods:))
LOL. Gotta hand it to him. We all agree that a fat general is just not a good look. But, I don't think this is about optics, well it is, but I think this is a way to cull the lazy and loud factor.
The trend has been for more and more brass, compared to regular enlisted men. https://www.pogo.org/reports/more-brass-more-bucks-officer-inflation-in-todays-military#:~:text=%E2%9C%B0%20In%20June%201945%20the,strong%20World%20War%20II%20force.
McGregor often mentions this.
Pete is a Patton in the making.
Let's hope he doesn't meet the same end.
Based on the backdrop's resemblance to Patton's opening speech in the movie, I definitely felt like they were trying to at least give that feeling.
Hegseth is cool and funny. If you listen to Patton’s speech from the night before a big operation, you’ll see his sense of humor also
This is what they are broadcasting about the meeting. You can bet there are other parts that will be kept secret
Hold on, they stopped PT tests and height and weight? I was in 1999-2004 and that was a requirement- did that change???
No, they didn't stop anything. In 2009 they added some lower standards for women, like the way a women's golf course is setup.
Rooting out the fags and queers.
Pete Hegseth is hardcore.
I LOVE IT! He speaks the truth.
Standards are very low. Needs to be done.
Culling the heard
I hate the fatties and they make me sad to look at. 🤣 get em Sec!
I don’t think he call all of them just because a PTT test. I believe if it is who is a good or a bad patriotic man means woke plus other reasons.
All I know is this would be an excellent way to "thin the ranks" in the military at the same time we thin the bloated bureaucracy. We have way too many "chiefs" and many of them are clearly working against "We the People". I suspect there will be a wave of retirements announced by high ranking officers over the next few months.
