My dad and i have been saying this since last April, Trump should cancel our debt with them over this. This is an act of war we all knew it back then now some of the sheep are waking up. Thats why i love Trump, he's always on the same page as us patriots, we often think of a solution and what we would do if we had power and he ends up doing it.

If the Chinese people, not the Party elites got that information, it could start a real revolution inside China. They are tired of the oppression and the gulf between rich and poor. Everything they do and say are monitored by the Communist Party and they've had it. Knowing their Dear Leader caused so much needless death and destruction around the globe, then realizing any money owed to other countries would be paid with their sweat and labor not out of the pockets of the Party elite. And frankly they have no choice but to keep buying our bonds.

Because their entire economy is built on exporting cheap crap to the US (and other countries).
They run a huge trade surplus with us. Which means US Dollars are flowing into China.
Their two options are:
Hold cash (US Dollars)
Or
Buy treasuries where they can at least collect some interest.
If they spend their dollars their currency will rise relative to dollars, cutting much of their manufacturing advantage (we can buy cheap shit from any number of countries including our own).
They’re trapped in a box and any President that has balls (ie Trump) can exploit that.
Right now they have a friend in the White House unfortunately so they will act like a bully, but their economy is super fragile when you peak under the hood.
