Keep in mind that at this event we had no clue as to what to expect. There was no top level guidance. No planning outside the caravans. All those working class people just made their way to the epicenter of evil in our country as best they could.

As we walked over there, I swear there was music setup to diffuse the situation. It was the simplest but most effective crowd control I've ever seen deployed. Just loud, trashy, saccharine pop music! People started talking, dancing, hanging out, grabbing food, buying merch. It was like a little festival broke out in the middle of a fraudulent election being verified. If you ever find yourself needing to break up a crowd, break out a speaker and put on some classic hits and watch it work.
After people started nearing the Capitol, the Ashley Babbitt card was pulled. I apologize if it sounds callous but please bear in mind I just don't believe she's dead. I think that scene was pulled off by white hats to get Trump supporters out of there.
And lastly it's lost in the news but Trump did tell us to leave. It was an absolute punch in the gut at the time but absent any formal organization we just listened to the man. I hope it was the right decision. I'll always wonder if there was another version of the plan.

You're trying to talk logic to shills. Remember, if the military runs a run-off election, they're going to claim Trump isn't neutral. Their biggest fear other than Trump is Pence being popular enough to run and still appear neutral.
I think people miss the fact that Pence kicking it back to the states wasn't a guaranteed solution either. All it would have taken is a few RINO cucks and the states would have "certified" Gropey as president. No one here thinks Team Trump didn't do the calculus beforehand knowing each legislator and their likelihood to chicken out or buckle under immense pressure? Or no one thinks that Trump had no idea of Pence's intention well beforehand and that they never met to discuss it, Trump left it all to chance that Pence would "do the right thing"?
It wasn't easy to get a legislature on board at all, though. Took us 6 months. The certifications should have been sent back, but at the time I don't think it would have worked.

Anyone can read the 12th amendment. The Vice President does not have the power to reject the votes. He only gets power in the event that both houses of Congress cannot agree. Then he becomes president. If Pence had the power you think he has, that means Al Gore had the same power and just decided to “let” Bush become president when he himself believed he won Florida. If you cannot be bothered to read the constitution, then you have no idea what you are fighting for.
