I was born in 1984 and have had someone call me a boomer. They don't even know what it means.
That being said, there are some legit bones to pick with the boomers over how miserably they did when it came to being stewards of American freedom for the generations that come behind them.
Dropping acid and listening to Sgt Peppers didn't end the war. Half the tech that they claimed to invent came out of DARPA, and Facebook is totally not a CIA creation /s
The way Boomers sold out future generations for instant gratification is unforgivable. I know and love many boomers, but many of them will even say they did a piss poor job at safeguarding our freedom and future prosperity. Look at where we are at today?
Boomers could have stopped this long ago. They didn't care. They had it too good in postwar America and didn't think about who or what came after their time here was up.
There is another 40 years of poor management from the end of the Vietnam war and they act like their responsibilities as wardens of our country stopped in 1973.
This is the same group-based thinking that gives us "white privilege" and other gems of stupidity. There are plenty of hard-working boomers who were literally the salt of the earth people, raised right, and lived good and decent lives. They don't deserve the blame for what hippies, spoiled rich kids, and various other actually guilty people have done. Blame the individuals responsible. There is no collective guilt.
Dropping acid lol you get that in 60 minutes psychedelics have woken up many people I did my share of recreational but the main focus was spiritual my generation grew up with draft cards with the threat of going to a useless war forced on us I turned 18 in 1973 so I got out of that but knew Many that did not that's alot of pressure You never experienced John Kennedy was murdered in second grade I watched jack Ruby gun down Oswald on live TV two yrs later Bobby got murdered my take was anyone good got in they would kill them So I went on to college paid my own way and worked my whole life starting at 15 We had 3 TV stations no internet cell phones not unlimited resources like today So I was brainwashed like everyone else my parents thier parents I am awake now and always voted conservative how was I to know there was only one party go ahead and burn me for when I was born not my choice would love to see how you would have done
Protests in every campus and city in the country sure did Did you see 68 Dem convention in chicago Nothing but apathy today We boomers worked our whole lives hard got no 50000 unemployment free medical ECT we payed for everything Malenials are the latest stupidest gen ever not a wit about them
How did I do that I grew up with both kennedys getting murdered in grade school going thru Jr high w draft card watching them draw numbers like lottery on tv no internet cable cell phones it was hard getting facts IV been a rebel my whole life including now What was I supposed to do?
It's real easy to judge with the vast resources available today we had three channels no internet cell phones I was brainwashed like you and everyone else at one time I knew THEY were evil and would kill anyone good just didn't know who they were
Lmao. Tell us little man, what great things have yku done for freedom today. Not your generation, you. What have you done. Jack shit most likely. Mouthy little tards. Lmao,
Dude why the hate I email my gov and many gov across the country been resisting authorita my whole life I am ready to die for my country am I supposed to come out shooting Americans my generation DID stop Vietnam war and forced many societal changes for the good not our fault we only had three tv channels and the library for information unlike currently unlimited sources what do you do
We also had the best sex everyone on pill free love the best drugs Columbian gold the best music by far and graduate with any degree and get a kick ass job
Iv been seeing the dead since 1972 it was a big part of my life I'm not at all happy with this latest rules to go to shows I ate tics for sat dead and company because of this why the hate
The crying part was projected in your head after seeing a "bad" word. Yet Baby boomer is a very old term.
Some Veterans of Vietnam cried after anti war hippies disrespected them and their government abandoned them after returning from their waste of a war. Doesn't make them thin skinned.
Only the daintiest of baby boomers are afraid of people referring to them by the common and established term, "baby boomer". And none fought in world war two, dainty boomer.
not just here in the US, but in multiple countries all over the world...
they all have the same ingredients at play... almost as if a FUCKING CABAL IS TRYING TO TAKE OVER and the people are all fighting back...
we are in a race...
we are watching the cabal race to get us all locked down and controlled before we get pissed off enough to stop them...and every time we start to catch up the pace car comes out and stops everyone from passing.
sooner or later we're gonna have a faster pit time... and it's going to get UGLY.
It should be added that the last time a "temporary" military power took over, it was supposed to last a few months until elections were called. It actually took 21 years as a dictatorship. Most people who lived it said it was a peaceful period, but that if you were on the right side, of course. Totally different if you were against the government - then they were pretty violent, and that's what history classes teach now. Nevertheless they kinda screwed the economy for several decades. People turn back to that sight now when the term "military coup" is brought up.
Edit: Oh and to add a bit more flavour to the pot, the machines used in the elections are being criticised as extremely unsafe and we have the STF saying they're fine but no audit is allowed to be done, like they're preparing the ground for something. Sound familiar?
What's depressing is having to watch hour long videos that "explain the plan" when really it's just more hype and more "buckle up" style posts.
What's depressing is conspiracy theories written out in pol that are supposed to align with Q, but are just cringe attempts at smashing current world news into "the Plan," like the "Taliban Special Forces sending Biden a message on behalf of Q" theory that sat in sticky for hours.
After months and months and months of this, it gets tiring reading how every. little. thing is tied to Q, and get nothing ever amounts to anything.
Yeah, I may be a dopamine addicted junkie, but I'm also someone who is weary from so many broken promises, and so many large world event theories that I did read or watch and ultimately amounted to nothing. So forgive some of us if we don't have time to zoom in on pink text which may or may not even paint an accurate picture of what's really going on in Brazil.
For me, it's just boring. They jump back and forth a bit and there's a reliance on context I don't have; that there is something happening in Brazil, and I seemed to have missed that since I didn't see anything about it yet.
yeah it's hard to condense a decade of crazy bullshit into something channers can digest, i get that, but i actually enjoyed reading that. i'm not some die hard book nerd, but if something interests me i can't stop reading it. dude did an ok job of balancing context with brevity in an attempt to summarize the whole situation but it's a complex bundle of shit so it took him a while.
it's just shocking how many similarities we're seeing with all these countries all over the world in unison...
myanmar was the start of what i think will start to happen all over the world... and all these places are having issues with authoritarians using dominion or partner voting machines... all have issues with soros... all have issues with media and big tech censoring people... all with issues of corrupt tyrants stealing power or cheating to remain in power then attacking their detractors by labeling them as "dangerous terrorists".
same playbook in all these different countries all over the world and this based brazil dude just detailed it from his countries perspective.
i enjoy hearing actual accounts of what is actually going on because you sure as fuck can't trust "the news" to tell you the truth about anything anymore, it's now far more likely that they are doing things to hide the truth or flat out invent their own.
...and i just realized i took the time to type something up for a dude that wouldn't take the time to read some other thing someone typed up...
I just didn't know anything was going on today, this was the first I had heard upon opening my browser since I had been busy / in other threads, so it was going over my head as to what the point was, why we were talking about it and what relevance it had today.
yeah i find it impossible to follow any country's news and events because it all runs through a filter...
except here.
honestly if you weren't on this website and sites like it, you never would have heard the truth about myanmar... they would have hid that shit.
this is why these fuckers are in such a panic... because everyone woke up and quit doing and thinking what they were being told to do.
it's all very fascinating to me... how night and day different reality is from the manufactured reality they try to push onto people... and how fragile it all really was.
We never had it, at least not to the level European cultures do.
That's not a BAD thing.
We're individualistic, but we'll stick together and be close brothers in arms when shit gets bad.
Then, when the rough times were over, it's back to going our individualistic way again.
I've always thought we Americans are kinda like family that doesn't get along. Brothers that fight. Sisters that bicker. We don't even really LIKE each other. But... We love each other.
So, if you attack my sibling, I'll kick your ass. Because only I get to beat him up. Not you.
That's built with time. All of that comes with trust and a certain amount of charisma. You have to make sure to build that tradition. My own family used to be better about it, but I've certainly seen Italian, Irish, Jewish, or Mexican (among others) families with deep roots in their own traditions who make a real effort to keep those things alive, to talk to their neighbors, to build their communities, etc.
It's hard because we all have so much other crap to pay attention to in life and we let that be an excuse for failing to commit or re-commit to each other. We fail even our own kids or spouses and end up with broken homes. That has to stop, but that means we have to slow down and prioritize our responsibilities. Work and career have to come after family, friends, neighbors, and community - after our God, after our values and principles, etc. And it's much easier to say than to do. We're seeing that now with the vaccine mandates. Do we value our gold or our principles of bodily autonomy and the right as free men to make our own healthcare decisions? We're each making those choices right now.
In fact, poverty in Brazil increased with the last two governments of the socialist left, President Bolsonaro assumed an administration with corrupt ministers from the old leftist administration, who are the ones who are trying to maintain extremely high levels of poverty to buy the vote with the dirty money that the left party has.
Supream court has gone full dictator mode, to the point of throwing politicans, journalist, and even civilians in jail for simply criticizing them. They pardoned a former popular progressive president, who was found guilty of some crime. (kinda sounds Obama-y) to be their chosen leader. So now people are calling for a military coup.
Brazil has hit its boiling point. The deep state Supreme Court is doing everything in their power to stop Bolsonaro (including releasing an imprisoned (for corruption) popular leftist leader). The right is out in the streets calling for a military coup to remove the Supreme Court that has lifetime appointments. According to the post, a coup can be legal under the constitution, but would certainly cause a shitstorm.
You got that right Fren!
Okay, Boomer.
acshully, though you made a valid point based on facts and logic, it looks like you were born during the baby boom. check and mate.
I was born in 1984 and have had someone call me a boomer. They don't even know what it means.
That being said, there are some legit bones to pick with the boomers over how miserably they did when it came to being stewards of American freedom for the generations that come behind them.
Really? how old are you? I'm sure you fixed it all once you figured it out.
Go fuck yourself small man.
Fuck you ok boomers we stopped the Vietnam war and invented the tech you are using nowlol
Dropping acid and listening to Sgt Peppers didn't end the war. Half the tech that they claimed to invent came out of DARPA, and Facebook is totally not a CIA creation /s

Found the Voat reject.
Power to print money happen ed in 1787 when Hamilton was treasurer of the u.s. under Washington. Read a fucking book moron. That was just the start.
Is that a Canadian flag? I'm surprised this isn't all fixed already since you mlenials are so fucking good. You fools are laughable.
Well it's kinda like now, what can the average person do...
This is the same group-based thinking that gives us "white privilege" and other gems of stupidity. And Trump is a boomer
Idiots don't read or rheybwould have known that already
And now your buddy Bobby and the fake Dead are shilling for blatant authoritarianism and fascism.
Luckily Jerry died before he got to see the complete sellout of his soul.

I'm a proud boomer.
Teasing the thin skinned isn't indicative of general intelligence :^)

Up vote for the nascar references, lol
Thanks u/catsfive for sharing. Great overview of situation in Brazil by the anon on the Chans. God Bless him! 🙏
He’s really doing great 👍🏽 😎💕
I really appreciate this explanation! A lot of that sounds awful familiar 🤔
Edit. Sorry wrong post ha.
The stuff at the end about the authorization for a coup sounds similar to how the Turkish military worked… well before Estrogen pulled off the purge.
It should be added that the last time a "temporary" military power took over, it was supposed to last a few months until elections were called. It actually took 21 years as a dictatorship. I had no idea about all the similarities of corruption between Brazil and the U.S.—as well as other countries. WOW!! Thank you u/catsfive for sharing.
Can we get a EU Autorizo for the US. Cause we need it here.
So is that it for Bolsonaro then?
Very informative thanks for that.
Also you know how i know Bolsonaro is a good guy, the corrupt media hate him.
I can only get so hard
Seriously thanks for posting. Most enlightening.
I don't give a fuck about Brazil.
America first.
I think it's helpful to know the other movements across the globe that are sympathetic to the same cause.
I guess they are saving America for last not Israel lol
That is a LOOOONG READ!!! Read about half and was like meh, waaaay too much to continue lol
it's depressing to see people struggle to read things.
with everything contained in short snarky clips and memes nobody has the attention span to read anything in any detail anymore.
so bizarre.
fuckers these days wouldn't make past the preamble of the constitution before they had to go check their socials...
they've turned ya'll into dopamine junkies with ADD.
What's depressing is having to watch hour long videos that "explain the plan" when really it's just more hype and more "buckle up" style posts.

not one single thing in that OP had anything to do with Q but glad to see that rent free rental agreement pdf you got there.
Controlled short attention span can actually help in this context. For example, sifting through all the noise to get to the signal.
For me, it's just boring. They jump back and forth a bit and there's a reliance on context I don't have; that there is something happening in Brazil, and I seemed to have missed that since I didn't see anything about it yet.

all these major events that tie back to the idea of a global cabal of shitheals fucking over humanity will wind up posted here.
Q is just saying "we have a plan to take down the cabal"
That's fair, but the post relied on context that wasn't there and that's why I wasn't interested in finishing it.
I got four posts in and it didn't really matter because the premise (protests / Bolsonaro / Brazilian independence day) didn't strike me.
I certainly don't follow every other country's events or holidays, so.
yeah i find it impossible to follow any country's news and events because it all runs through a filter...

like a fucking lowtide sandcastle.
It's mostly because 4 Chan has weird formatting for text making it hard to zoom in and read without scrolling every which way.
Yes, very annoying, but if you flip your phone to horizon position it makes it somewhat tolerable.
You think that’s long, dig into this manual, fren! kek, but seriously it’s important.
this is a joke right?
it's a 2-3 minute read...
I wish Americans could have that closeness, but I’m thinking it’s never going to be.
After the TRUTH is revealed about (((them))) we will be united as never before fren! Fear not...the Best is yet to be!

🤣😂☝🏼 I’ma salty cracker at heart

Having read it, it feels like things are heating up, but the civilians are publically backing a “coup” to stop the rabid leftists in power.
