Anyone old enough to remember geocities knows that websites don't last forever. Yeah, there are tools like the wayback machine but even they don't archive everything.
GAW needs to be preserved (entire application stack in read only) for generations to come to study when they're learning about WW3, a.k.a., the Great Meme War. They can learn how a fringe group of "conspiracy theorists" banded together to fight censorship and misinformation.
When the tide turns in our favor, as it seems to be doing now, everyone who dismissed us is going to claim they always knew (talking to you Dilbert Toolbag). I for one revel in the idea that I can show them my posts here and say, SUCK IT!
Our haters will say, "There's no proof you were puffyjacket45!" If the site is preserved then the real puffyjacket45 will be able to prove it by authenticating.
It sure would help if we knew who the secret financier of GAW was. It certainly doesn't feel like a honeypot, but who knows? If the site disappears immediately after the storm I guess we'll know it was a honeypot.

Wayback Machine cannot be trusted with anything political. They delete shit they don't like. We learned this during Pizzagate. The nuked lots of saved pages. It's a shame.
I noticed that too (wayback deleting archived pages). I was on Voat pizzagate subreddit before the archived database starts (Isn't there a searchable database of voat available now? I think the database starts sometime in 2017 and I couldn't find any of my posts). I remember there being a post of a whiteboard with a hand drawn map detailing a farm in PA next to a river. I got spooked thinking if I dug too deep and found something they might come after me. Turns out that was a legitimate fear. Didn't some girl get killed?
This is very interesting. While I was aware of Voat, I didn't like the interface as this was back when I was still on Retarddit and Voat felt too "amateurish" for me. Plus I tried to look around but couldn't find anything there but guess I wasn't digging hard enough, otherwise I would have came across Pizzagate. I was also on /r/Pizzagate before it got shut down by Retarddit but didn't know it went over to Voat.
Anyways, I remember reading some threads on 4chan, maybe some on Retarddit, about scary encounters like someone stumbling across a picture of a white rabbit on a door and they were asking people in the thread on how they should proceed. Others were throwing suggestions and all, so OP was chronicling what they were doing then all of a sudden OP stopped replying to the thread. Some speculated that OP is probably pulling a prank or it was a genuine activity and OP got caught, or worse, got killed.
I think this was in California or something. Also there was this story where a guy was observing activities underground and they used a tracker of some sort to monitor the activity and found that there was indeed something going on down under. Guy eventually finds a manhole and was not sure whether to open it and go down or leave it alone. Guy also looked on the GPS and said whatever's coming out from down below is right by where he lives, or at the house he is working at, and it was suspicious.
There's probably more but yeah, very interesting and scary if they all are true stories...

Considering that this oasis is like the Declaration of Independence, in that if this is a honeypot, we will all be executed. I say that anonymity is our best friend. The simple satisfaction will be in knowing we did a small part to save Freedom. I won't need recognition or fame, just peace and quiet to live out the remainder of my life. Although it would be pretty sweet if we all could retire in a physical community and live out our days with the best patriots of our generation. 🤗 We can call it Anonville or somesuch. If the SHTF, you won't have trouble finding military and LE's on our side. The majority of them are already on our side. My personal estimate is somewhere between 75-90%. I am a part of the DoD. I work mostly with Navy, Marines and USCG. I have coworkers that are AF. I can honestly tell you that the ones against us are a small minority. The discussions on base and onboard ship is always pro patriot. The few outliers are quite obvious and they tend to keep most of their opinions to themselves. It leaks out a bit, that is why it is obvious.
