In some cultures, there's never been a need to rush to do much of anything.
If you live in a tropical island paradise -
where food swims at your feet and falls off of the trees onto your head and pure water is just a short walk inland -
where you might want to hunt wild pigs sometimes, but patience while watching the trap you set for them is the best method -
where the weather is beautiful and if there's a big storm out there moving in, just call everyone together and head for the inland caves until it's gone -
what's the need to rush? You're actually better off if you don't. Patience and waiting pay off more than endless hard work and trying to make things to happen before they're ready.
Just sayin' that this is why we have different cultures, and why insisting on forcing them together in the name of "tolerance" is a recipe for disaster.
