Exactly. The more resources they use looking for Chinese and Russian spies, the less resources available for chasing traitors in our own government.

the Russians and Chinese are very open about spys, but keep their mouths shut about sabotage or guerilla teams. Long time ago, we were panic stricken about Soviets with "suitcase nukes". Wonder where they all are? In the mean time, the Iranians have openly boasted about IRGC and Hezbollah teams inside the US waiting for instructions. We have arrested Cuban spys and sabotage agents. The Venezuelans are pouring across the border so that we have no idea who is here.
Leftists , democrats, progressives and all their allies (i.e. antifa, teachers unions etc.), do enough sabotage in the US as some foreign power. More perhaps.

We have China owned ports in our coastal areas.
We have reports of politicians representing and pushing legislation for Chinese and Russian lobbyists and advocates/oligarchs. We have Russian spies cells in rural areas. Chinese & Russian spies infiltrating politicians & congress.
