She has had trapped excess mucous for over 1 year now. I don’t know what to do. My pediatrician hasn’t called me back on it yet. I bought a powder form. Apparently it’s a miracle to get rid of mucous, among other more serious, benefits ( like liver detoxification)

I read about NAC on here. I never used it before.
I suffer from sinusitus anxiety and they tried to push Lexapro on me. I refused so many times. I do however take Xanax when needed.
I started taking NAC a little over a month ago. I noticed first my sinus started feeling better. The next thing I noticed was anxiety pretty much disappeared. I haven't taken Xanax. I feel more grounded.
Watch the 14 minute video of a doctor explaining NAC.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=a_Pauk4HHxg.&feature=youtu.be
Thanks Haha , I go on this site so many times that I think I heard about NAC from here too!😅 The guy at the vitamin Shoppe literally did not have any other suggestion for me as to some thing she could take besides NAC ( though of course , he couldn’t recommend it for her age) I’m so glad your sinuses cleared up from it. of course I should hear back from her pediatrician but it’s kind of hard to trust them when they kept pushing antibiotic after antibiotic on her… “ just in case “ 😡 I heard that it treats psychiatric illnesses in children. Funny how when and it seems like a more dramatic/ psychiatric problem, it is “safe for children”( according to wiki). Thanks for all the input:)
They use on children for OCD.

It is nothing more than amino acids. Did you watch the video?
It is safe for children .
I don't know about NAC, but have you ever had braces/any kind orthodontic work? it can really mess up airways & cause anxiety. look up Dr. Michael Mew and his breathing techniques, a frenectomy can be helpful too.
have also read that ortho can restrict pineal gland, and that's where we connect to imagination, etc.
Never had braces. I tried breathing exercises. I even did a breathing technique called Freespira it helped but nothing like NAC. Watch the video I posted about NAC. He explains how it helps.
This is Freespira.
https://freespira.com/
thanks! I'll definitely watch & reminds me, of the word spirit; think the spirit is in the breath/transported by the blood. but maybe I'm off, will be interesting to learn more about this^
Thank you for sharing this video...it is short and very good...
You are welcome Fren.
I've been using NAC for a good 6 months now. No adverse effects noted. Not sure that it's actually been clearing my lungs, but I haven't had any congestion since I started using it.
Using Sprouts store brand capsules.
N-A-C precursor to glutathione works best with exercise to promote the body into making glutathione which is better than glutathione in pill form. You can also take an additional Nitric Oxide Booster.
Serrapeptase also works on sinuses. Look into it
Nattokinase!!! Dr Peter McCullough gives highest praise.
What is Nattokinase good for - specifically sinus issues, or something else?
DR. MCCULLOUGH: THE MOST PROMISING SUBSTANCE AGAINST SPIKE PROTEINS IS AN ENZYME CALLED NATTOKINASE https://www.bitchute.com/video/CVBrpuFSxPq5/
Ah, thank you!
NAC + Bromelain is also supposed to destroy spike protein.
Thank you. The people I know in danger of developing them won't, unfortunately, even listen. I wonder if NAC is good for other things, for purebloods like us. Surely it must have other benefits besides dismantling spike proteins.
NAC + Glycine is supposed to improve longevity.
Thank you.
Interesting. Thanks. By silver to you mean that colloidal silver? I've heard of it but never used it.
Sovereign Silver is the brand to get.
Alright, thanks. What do you use it for, specifically?
I’ve used NAC for almost 7 years now to repair lung damage caused by smoking and burn pits and Kabul air quality. I quit smoking (other than cigars) and after 18 months I’m now running 3.5 mi in 30 min. NAC has many detoxifying benefits. It’s used to treat acetaminophen toxicity. The FDA was trying to classify it as a drug. I stockpile it. Most important supplement I take IMO. I take Nutricost brand.
I stocked up 1 1/2 years ago when the FDA put it on their list. So I had extra to provide to my adult kids/family if they got "covid". As NAC is great for getting mucus out of lungs.
I stocked up on a bunch when Amazon stopped selling it. I figured if they are trying to ban it, it must be helpful. I have taken it for a little over two years without any issues. I use Nutricost brand as well.
They are selling it again.
Thank you for letting me know. I have two year's worth of NAC laying around the house, so I have not been looking lately. I try not to give Amazon my money, but it is so easy to click "buy."
Hi, I've been taking NAC, for 1 year now, along with a bunch of other supplements to keep myself healthy. NAC is so good at doing what it does that Big Pharma and their supporters were angling to get it taking off the market and made available only by Rx. That's when you know it has value.
Re your daughter - both my kids were plagued with sinus infections, blocked sinuses resulting in headaches, sore throats, fevers, stomach aches (all related to the sinus) for most of their grade school years. After many doctor's visits with a 'Harvard-trained Top Doc', his only solution was antibiotics which never helped. EVER.
They ate very healthily, practiced good hygiene, took probiotics, but it still happened frequently. I couldn't understand it. We even did a sinuplasty on my daughter, but it made no difference.
In desperation for them, I came upon a remedy that stopped the problem in its tracks. Both my kids (now young adults) repeat this all the time and are no longer bothered by sinus issues.
Here's what we did: I got them a sinus rinse kit, a jug of distilled water, a super potent refrigerated probiotic along with a big bottle of chewable Vit C and some peroxide and denture cleaner(!)
Checklist to Buy:
Re the probiotic: The Natren Healthy Trinity was a miracle. It made all the difference. You buy it at a health food store, Sprouts or similar. It is in the refrigerated section as it is a living product in hibernation. Bring a thermal lunch bag with an ice pack to keep it cold during transport. Or, buy a bag of frozen corn at the store and put it next to it in the bag for the drive home. It is very fragile. This probiotic must be kept in the fridge and only taken with distilled (non-chlorine) water at cool or room temperature, not hot! You want it to stay in hibernation until it gets into the small intestine.
Directions to be done when symptoms are present:
Stir until salt is dissolved. Transfer this to your spouted container. Test liquid on the back of your wrist to make sure it is not too warm. Inhale the salty water into each nostril over the sink, spitting out the salty water that rolls down the throat. Blow nose as needed.
Make sure both sides of the nose inhale the warm salty water, equally. If when you blow, a lot of mucus is coming out, continue inhaling liquid and blowing nose until no more comes out. If you have time, warm up more water & salt and repeat again after a few minutes. Sometimes the 2nd rinse will yield the best results.
Finish up with some Q-tips up the nostrils to swab out anything remaining. You may go through a lot of Q-tips!
As an example, a 6-month-long sinus infection with fevers of 105 that my son had was cured in 3 days with this method. The doc had put him on 55 days of antibiotics with no improvement! After curing it ourselves, we no longer gave that doctor our business.
FYI - Since the 'Plandemic,' my children and myself take NAC, D3, Vit C, Zinc, Quercetin & Turmeric daily along with weekly Ivermectin to ward off the 'Coof' and viral shedders.
Hope this helps.
A thorough and most excellent protocol! Thanks!
You are welcome!
How do you take that much C without getting the shits? When I was sick last I could do 2000 mg a day but I usually can’t do 1000mg more than a a few times a week.
Have you tried liposomal vit c? I'm using 3000mg a day with no problems. You can make your own.
No. How do you make it?
I use ascorbic acid, sunflower lecithin and distilled water, in an ultrasonic cleaner
https://elkeliving.com/2020/08/19/diy-liposomal-vitamin-c/
Sometimes a good shit is helpful! Especially, if you have sick germs in your gut, you'll want to get rid of them.
But, surprisingly, that much Vit C just gives me comical toots by the end of the day, but not excess bathroom visits. Just part of the fun.
NAC is great; works well on asthma mucus. But it only does half the job. NAC plus pineapple (bromelain) kills spike proteins and deals with other sources of inflammation and mucus. I buy pineapple whenever I can for my kids. There are dozens of studies online on how NAC + bromelain reduces mucus and inflammation, here's one. Never know what they are picking up from school. With their daily vitamin D of course.
Fresh pineapple, no canned or frozen!
I'm not a doctor but NAC has been incredible supplement for me. No side effects. Mucus buster. Can take it 3x a day if needed. She should see improvement in 24h or less.
Only side effect might be upset stomach if extra dose
I never heard of that use for it. I have taken NAC quite a bit over the last few years. A bit of research will lead you to discover that the body already produces NAC, so it's rather benign... you're providing a boost.
I won't tell you not to try NAC first, as I've never heard of a downside, but ... you might try nebulized hydrogen peroxide therapy, which makes more intuitive sense to me for that problem. There have been many posts about it here.

Comments always have great info as well. Good luck.
It's pretty safe. It's used to break up mucous deposit in children with cystic fibrosis, among other things
Wasabi and/or fresh horseradish work for me in a delightful 3 second experience. I love the taste of both but I’m gonna guess it’s one of those acquired taste things.
I use horseradish for clearing my sinus. I have found that there is only one kind that works for me. Boars Head creamy (or the same thing in a house brand at Kroger). In 3 sec I'm waving my face from the horseradish steaming from my mouth into my sinus.
Salsa doesn't work as well for me as the horseradish. I'm eating a few crackers with a 1/4 tsp on each cracker right now for my sinus.
PDF's that's been kicking around 4chan's /x/ boards for a couple months now
https://www.docdroid.net/FX4DpXm/cdf-nac-protocol-pdf
Posits that mold/fungus/yeast is the root source of all modern ailments. Which is why coincidentally you hear about horse dewormers and fenben curing cancer. The protocol is rather humble: NAC, Black Seed Oil, Oregano Oil. Worth pursuing if there's any signs of fungal overgrowth, which if there are antibiotics involved, there absolutely will be.
Truly a different take on "bringing darkness to light". Not the first big thing to come out of 4chan boards...
This protocol is great but only for the serious, it actually does root out hard-to-find colonies of fungus and infection but you have to carefully monitor dosage, especially the oregano oil. If you have too much 'die-off' you go through hell. For sinus infections they recommend Xlear (I just add xylitol to a saline spray) and brushing 2x a day with a drop of fennel essential oil on your toothpaste)
Fungus huh. This is very interesting.
1200mg in the morning?! I took 1000mg one time and literally thought I was dying. It was willlllld.
The creators have a thread post on Godlike Productions forums if you have any questions. I'd start small and use common sense. Usually it's the Oregano Oil people have trouble with, not the NAC.
That's very interesting. Thank you for this information!
That’s really strange. I take that both in the morning and evening and it calms anxiety. What did you take it with?
I thought it was really odd too. It's been over a year, so I'm struggling to remember, but I did take something else with it. I'll have to look - it could have easily been the combination.
I would LOVE something to help with anxiety. I'll give it another shot and start with a lower dose.
Yes try 600 mg. But you could just try the combination of oregano + blackseed oil + nac that is in the pdf.
I use it often for the exact reason you want to use it. My 13 year old takes it occasionally.
Is there a particular brand you recommend? Thanks.
Horbaach in Las Vegas.
Or the Luxor
Thank you.
You’re welcome!
Does anyone else’s NAC smell eggy? That normal?
Yea, the rotten egg smell means it’s fresh.
That's the sulfur in the NAC.
P U
I use NAC just about every day with no ill effects whatsoever.
Check this as well. I’ve used it for the flu or Covid or whatever virus I had and felt much better the next day. https://rumble.com/vdey7t-the-universal-antidote.html
I want everyone here to look into Halo therapy who has any issues with anything sinus or mucus related this will change your life forever and it's stupid easy to use seriously stupid easy... Take a toilet paper roll fill a sock with chunky sea salt or put in a stainless steel wool ball as the bottom holder feel that with salt and put a sock on the other end put a towel or sheets around the head with lots of room inside and breathe deeply through your nose and sinuses alternatively breathe deeply in your mouth and immediately exhale through your nose you can also cover one nostril at a time thank me later love you fam.... By the way Halo is Latin for salt so we're talking about salt therapy or the same reason why people tend to feel better rapidly when they spend time at the ocean. That being said nad+ and a c and other derivatives and similar functioning tools are also profoundly wonderful I utilize them in addition
Not following. I am reading this from above 'Tent over your head with a towel and deep breathe in dry sea salt? What's the point of putting the salt in the socks or cardboard roll holder, etc? And if you're stopped up already, there's no breathing to occur through the nose. I am very interested if this is a solution....
This thread is really a goldmine.
20 years ago, when my son was 8, the MD who was a 30 year ENT and then got his Naturopathic Degree, "prescribed" the NAC supplement along with a couple other supplements for my son's really bad allergies which had resulted in bad sinus, and allergic bronchitis.
I have taken it ever since it was recommended against COVID.
For me, excess fluid intake, especially with caffeine, can cause excess mucous and coughing. Electrolyte fasting, like the Snake Diet uses https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1onQ0nxgWFM helps to clear out my sinuses.
I have also tried like a 1/4 tsp of salt in a cup of tea, which sometimes helps.
Recently I bought a handheld nebulizer for inhaling 3% hydrogen peroxide, which kills viruses on contact.
Hubs and I used it for years as part of our supplement routine-cellular healing, Yada Yada I had never heard of the other uses until the rona- Never upset stomach or any side effects. We added it to amino acid supps
I use this for lung support especially when I have a cold or flu. I have had bronchitis and pneumonia a few times through life. I also now have asthma. I finally caught covid 2 years in, and it was hard on my lungs but NAC and a nebulizer really eased the congestion.

I've used it for years on myself and my children. Dose is 600 mg 3-4 times a day for acute respiratory/mucus issues. Only possible side effect could be digestive (loose stool) though none of us have ever had an issue with it. I used to take 1200 mg a day for asthma.
I switched to Serrapeptase (125,000 su) which is a proteolytic enzymes but they both work miraculously.
I would ask your local druggist, or try Dr. Mercola at Mercola.com.
I use it myself to protect my liver.
I wouldn’t call it a miracle. But it did help get some crud out of my chest over a couple of weeks. And when I started taking it my ears were popping like crazy with some sinus relief. I was doing 500mg capsules twice a day.
Bromelain might also be helpful. It upsets my stomach though. I have to take it with food.
Quercetin has good anti inflammatory properties. You can stack with D3 and Zinc/copper for a nice boost to the immune system. Get some extra calcium and fat with the D to help absorption.
Yes, and in addition to the many benefits in reversing/preventing spike protein damage, my allergies are all gone. Haven't gotten sick or allergies for over 2 years! Love this stuff :)
ThanQ! My allergies are terrible, but I think I’m just allergic to the dumb liberals I’m forced to interact with on a daily basis. Still, I will definitely try this!
I am currently taking a relatively high dose (~2g/day) as part of the CDF-protocol and have zero side-effects of the NAC itself. My father, though, gets skin rashes from it, however, these may also stem from mass die-offs as a result of a reaction between NAC and a pathogen.
The safest bet thus is to first try it out in low doses and see how she reacts to it. NAC has been found to be safe even in very high doses (12g/day), so either there is no reaction or a pretty severe one.
Keep in mind that NAC blocks the absorption of Vitamin C and Zinc, so you should supplement both to counteract.
I've been taking NAC daily for quite a while. No side effects and it's part of my daily supplement regimen. I haven't had a cold or sinus issues in years, and I've never gotten the China Virus either.
Me and my sister take them every day. It's helerious to have everybody get sick around me whike I just go about life as normal.
I take it every day. Have for over two years (during covid) I had breast cancer dx in 2021 and take a drug that lowers immune system, well between that and my other supplements worst I get is an occasional stuffy nose or scratchy throat. Hubby had the pneumonia January y a year ago, I never got sick, 6 kids rotating illnesses, I rarely get anything. NAC, lysine, d3, liposomal c, iodine drops, elderberry, mullein, quercetin should all help her issues.
Just remember while you’re using NAC, it negates Acetaminophen- so if she runs a fever and you use a Tylenol it won’t work. It contradicts it.
We use NAC a few times a year - especially during/ after a cold. Upsets my stomach a bit - so i usually take it at night.
I have been taking NAC for about 3 years now, along with zinc capsules and Quecertin and its cleared my wheezy chest quite nicely.
There is Xlear nasal spray, that is said to be a remedy against C-19 as it has grapefruit seed extract in it which is a consituent in making HCQ as well as clearing sinuses.
I’d say menthol cigs but probably not for her. CA just. banned them. And skittles. Sour patch kids and more …
Balloon rhinoplasty might be better.
I gave it to my 13 year old daughter after a cold. She had a phlegmy nagging cough. Cleared her up in couple days.
I take it daily for lung and liver support. It works wonders.
